Tucker on The Indictment of Trump and America’s Principles at Stake

Donald Trump has made a “blood enemy” in the U.S. security state

In a recent episode of his Twitter newscast, “Tucker on Twitter,” political commentator Tucker Carlson made a bold claim: Donald Trump was indicted because he dared to challenge the U.S. military industry and question America’s role in international conflicts.

Carlson argued that the elite in Washington decided to “take Trump out” because he rejected involvement in foreign wars. According to Carlson, Trump’s fate was sealed when he spoke out in the 2016 primary about Iraq.

“Whatever else you say about him, Trump is the one guy with an actual shot at becoming president who dissents from Washington’s longstanding pointless war agenda,” Carlson continued “for that, that one fact, they are trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him.”

We agree with Carlson—that should upset you even if you don’t want to vote for Trump.

The special prosecutor is independent of Biden. Your literally making crap up.

MIK in reply to Fatkins. | June 15, 2023 at 11:27 am

No he’s not. There is no such thing as an independent prosecutor in the federal system; the constitution identifies a single executive and he is in charge of every executive agency, especially and including the Department of Justice.

The special counsel thing is, in a word, b******t. It is a pretend way to make people think that there is an independent investigation when no such thing is possible in the federal system.

If you really want to test this theory just ask a Democrat or Rino a question about our objectives in the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

Typically they get very angry and assert that anyone who would dare question the billions going into what seems to be a bottomless hole is a Putin stooge or traitor.

I listened to one commentator who said the globalists real objective was a colonial style takeover of the oil, minerals and agriculture of both Russia and Ukraine. That is why they seem indifferent to the horrendous casualties which he claims are far worse on the Ukrainian side.

Mauiobserver | June 13, 2023 at 9:55 pm

Also allegedly the document that Trump waved around was a paper from General Milley advocating for war with Iran after rockets from a pro Iranian militia in Iraq hit a US airbase causing some American casualties.

Whether that was the document or he actually waved the lunch menu or a random page from War and Peace I doubt if the witness could tell.

The allegations are that Trump merely waved the document not that he handed it to anyone else to read.

Critical distinctions. Certainly different from leaving classified files on a security naked server, or in a garage where your sex addled son help drug parties…

I am still “charmed” by the empty classified marked folders and some allegedly classified papers carefully spread out by the FIB to look like they were carelessly treated by still managed to cover and information…

Trump needs to be the next POTUS to demonstrate to D’s that their Lawfare tactics are repugnant to voters. If they get away with taking him out, the lesson they’ll learn is that they should do it to every R, every election cycle.

This from someone that preferred Sen Cruz in 2016, and prefers DeSantis this time around.

Trump needs to win, and win big, and it should be made clear that it was the D’s own vile tactics that put him in office.

Otherwise, our nation will no longer be a Republic. The Party that controls the DOJ/FBI (entirely Democrat) will “win” all elections by weaponizing the bureaucracy against the opposition. Just like every Fascist Dictatorship that exists and has ever existed.

And then he needs to start settling scores! 🤬

MarkS in reply to Aarradin. | June 14, 2023 at 8:20 am

Trump will never be president again because the federal judiciary by refusing to hear evidence of election cheating gave the Dems the green light to steal all the elections they choose to

gonzotx in reply to Aarradin. | June 14, 2023 at 11:00 am

I don’t see how you can say what you said and support Desantis

He has been packaged very well indeed

mailman in reply to gonzotx. | June 14, 2023 at 11:53 am

Bro, let it go! DeathSantis is not the bogey man you want him to be. As Ive complained about in instagram (cause I cant do it on Twitter any more) Trump should be working with Death Santis, not against him! And Im not the only one with that view!

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Aarradin. | June 14, 2023 at 4:48 pm

There are so many people who should be in jail over this that we will have either build many more prisons or consider alternatives such as old warehouses full of cages and maybe special collars that would immediately immobilize them if they leave. I am thinking chamber pots, no AC, no TV, Soylent Green mush 2 x a day. Seizure of all assets.

Christian civilians get massacred and kidnapped and raped in Africa.

Hindus get massacred and kidnapped and raped in India.

Jews live under mortal threat in the U.S. and worldwide.

The stated position of the Iranian government is “Death to America.”

Russia has been allied for years with Iran. And Syria. And Venezuela. And Cuba.

But you can always count on Tucker Carlson to bravely: (1) pay for his own security from his vast personal wealth, (2) show up for his afternoon sauna, and (3) disparage the weapons manufacturers who are literally the only people who allow him to sleep at night reasonably certain that Maine won’t get destroyed overnight.

There havealways been people like Tucker Carlson — eg, cocky, clever, self-satisfied French aristocrats who perished in large numbers once their Revolution came.

– – – – –

By the way, Tucker used to acknowledge his therapeutic “harm reduction” usage of nicotine replacement therapy. But he now speaks openly against the exactly analogous life-saving strategies for opioid addicts. This hypocrisy is awful. Unforgivable really.

Hey Tucker let’s spend more time researching aliens visiting earth. So brave So erudite you SHPOS

    …and who are you?

Dimsdale in reply to Joe. | June 14, 2023 at 7:06 am

Ah, so he lives off the fruits of his labors and has to pay for protection from rabid leftists. What did any of the listed foreign atrocities have to do with Carlson? Specifically?

Good thing we have you here to put us straight….

smalltownoklahoman in reply to Dimsdale. | June 14, 2023 at 7:39 am

Indeed, and IIRC it was only a couple years ago that said rabid leftists tried something at Tucker’s home.

smalltownoklahoman in reply to Joe. | June 14, 2023 at 7:50 am

You want to complain about awful, unforgivable hypocrisy? The biggest hypocrisy about this whole situation is Trump being prosecuted at all! There are arguments that can be made that Trump did legitimately have some right to retain those documents but others, such as Hillary Clinton and her unsecured server, or Joe during his time as VP taking classified materials and storing them in his home garage and at that university office when they had NO SUCH RIGHT to do so? And yet no charges against either of them, that is truly awful and unforgivable hypocrisy and everyone aware of that knows it! Aarradin has a very valid point posted above: Trump should win reelection if for no other reason than to show that this persecution of Trump is unacceptable, that going to such extremes to take out one’s political rivals here in the United States is unacceptable!

CommoChief in reply to Joe. | June 14, 2023 at 8:07 am

So the arms manufacturers keep us safe? Great we can save a ton on payroll and training costs at DoD! We just send everyone home minus the original 500 or so the US had for a standing Army. Everyone else is in the militia. Hell lots of people, after all 70 is the new 40 so no excuses about not showing up on Sunday afternoon to the militia muster. Ladies as well, equal rights come with equal responsibilities.

Dathurtz in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 8:11 am

I actually think a system like that could work. Highly trained specialists maintained, every adult goes through basic and minimal specific training.

I don’t think it would work for projecting invasion threats, but would work for defense.

CommoChief in reply to Dathurtz. | June 14, 2023 at 10:14 am

It could work but the real issue is the lack of willingness on the part of most Citizens to undergo the training. We had a two decade long war in Iraq and Afghanistan which offered plenty of opportunities for everyone to serve.

The fact is most people don’t want to do so. They had the opportunity to enlist and did not. They could have served in a civilian capacity with contingents from Dept Energy, Dept Agriculture. There were opportunities for economists, historians, chemists, attorneys, engineers of all sorts, every sort of medical/healthcare worker.

Not to mention every sort of trade had opportunities to serve. Check if one didn’t have any of those skill sets a person could have volunteered to work in an internet cafe/lending library keeping track of folks time on the phone or computer and passing out coffee and cookies. Based on this real world test of actual personal commitment to the cause I don’t believe the majority of the population gives two craps.

Morning Sunshine in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 10:54 am

difference though – I would sign up to learn how to DEFEND my homeland. I will not sign up to defend someone else’s homeland (even if it is in “our national interest” to do so).
Also, this would be a citizen militia – I live at home, I do my normal day-to-day and not have to worry about anything until my HOME is threatened.

gonzotx in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 11:05 am

Both “wars” were not declared wars and most people, finally after 20 years new it was all BS

Add that to the fact our army’s were not allowed to WIN the wars

          Why would you sign up?

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 12:38 pm

Why sign up? The Nation was attacked and b/c I was in the financial services industry I knew people killed that day and was PO about it.

Those actions were authorized by Congress via AUMF aka Global War on Terror so you are incorrect. Those of involved in the fighting figured it out pretty quick and kept going b/c it was worth doing until about 2012.

There were civilian, non combat positions that were only focused on ‘Supporting the Troops’. The USO was always asking to volunteers to run the MWR facilities aka internet cafe/phone bank/lend library. Some in Iraq, Afghanistan and some in Kuwait.

Even if you didn’t support the war you could have decided to support the Troops in that capacity. You could even have volunteered closer to home at the local Airport where USO maintained as always facilities for Troops in transit. I gather from the comments those options were also discarded.

Dathurtz in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 5:32 pm

I think there are a large number of people that would serve to defend our country, but would not serve to permanently occupy another country.

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | June 14, 2023 at 6:56 pm

          Dathurtz

The National Guard performs the mission of securing the homeland v deploying though they can be certainly be deployed. A NG Soldier over the course of a 30 year career from 1990 – 2020 might have faced two unit deployments max during the GWOT. Failing that one could seek to join the State Defense Forces which are never deployed as a unit.

The silence in the comments regarding the missing volunteerism at the local Airport USO to directly support the troops doing the fighting and dying even if one didn’t support the GWOT is quite deafening.

There have been plenty of opportunities for folks to volunteer their time in service to the Nation or to those in Service to the Nation. Frankly not a very large % chose to answer the call. IMO, y’all are wish casting b/c the recent evidence tell us most people when it gets to nut cutting time don’t give a crap enough to raise their hand and volunteer. .

JOe– you drink too much! Find a therapist.

This is a kooky idea. There are many other reasons the Dems, progressives and bureaucrats (including the FBI) had for going after Trump, but not this. I hope that presenting Tucker’s view doesn’t mean that Prof. Jacobson, a level-headed guy, endorses them.

Morning Sunshine in reply to nisquire. | June 14, 2023 at 8:21 am

maybe a kooky idea. But it rings true. it fits with other numerous bits and pieces of data I have seen over the years.

mailman in reply to nisquire. | June 14, 2023 at 11:57 am

Hurting your bitch ass feelings aint against the law and really that’s all he’s guilty of. These never ending witch hunts have inadvertantly shown us that Trump is probably the cleanest fucker to have ever sat in the White House.

Also, you know the adults by their children. The differences between Trumps kids and Biden’s kids is like night and day. Trumps kids are actually accomplished adults themselves, probably because they have spent their entire lives around high achieving adults…Bidens kids…hahahahaha..fucking jokes, like their dad.

This issue is more fundamental than just foreign wars. It is about the fundamental organization of the economy and whether we are content to export US technology and jobs to China. Many US politicians provably profit from business with China including the Bidens, the Clintons, the Bush family, and Mitch McConnell.

Trump threatened the bipartisan gravy train from China and potentially could expose the grift/rot of the entire U.S. government.

That is an unforgivable sin to the Deep State.

Suburban Farm Guy | June 14, 2023 at 8:28 am

“dissents from” not “descends from”

People go to DC with the highest of intentions, they get sucked into The Swamp and enrich themselves at the public trough. Talking about shutting it down is Trump’s mortal sin. And the war machine is indeed a huge part of it

Big difference between the two words, definitely!

I’m not so sure they go there with high intentions anymore, maybe high self interests

mailman in reply to gonzotx. | June 14, 2023 at 12:03 pm

Im with you on the G. Keeping in mind the party system ensures that only “party” people who will toe the line will ever get nominated for positions of power with the end result being the same kinds of people eventually getting to DC…party people who will do as they are told.

The proxy war waged by the Obiden Junta on behalf of the military indiustrial compex ghouls is not working out so well as the Russians systematically destroy each and every vaunted, hugely overpriced weapon thrown against them Most of the equipment supplied has either been destroyed or rendered useless due a lack of proper training and maintenance or simply because they do not work as advertised. The Obiden Junta is quickly running out of Ulrainains, equipment and muntitions and the Russians will soon have a million battled hardened troops sitting on the Polish border ready and eager to go all the way to Berlin. What’s toi stop them? Our army is made up now mostly of low IQ, obese people who joined up for free drag shows, salute the LGBTQ+ flag, and free sex change operations, not the fight Russians. The Only thing left are nukes and the Obiden Junta is crazy enough to use them. I suggest you head over to http://www.nukerefuge.com and download their Nuclear War Survival Manual and be prepared.

That might be the most honest 13 1/2 minutes I ever heard

Donald Trump made an enemy of the permanent bureaucracy, the Deep State, the unelected government. This is why he has been indicted.
BUT
Bush II did not lie about Iraqi WMD.
1. The National Intelligence Estimates (NIE) that summaized what analysts believed about the Iraqi capabilities and intentions claimed confidence that Iraq had chemical and biological weapons and an active nuclear weapons program
and
2. The NIE did not change between the Clinton presidency and the Bush II presidency.
