Florida State University Handout Teaches Students About ‘Transgender Etiquette’

“what is and isn’t polite in conversations with transgender people or how to interact with an individual who is gender transitioning”

The lecturing and demands on this topic never seem to end.

Campus Reform reports:

FSU teaches students about ‘Transgender Etiquette’

Florida State University (FSU) offers its students a variety of educational handouts through its Allies & Safe Zones program. Handouts include “Transgender Etiquette,” “Bi-Basics,” “Allies & Safe Zones 101 Vocabulary List,” and more.

The Transgender Etiquette handout teaches students “about what is and isn’t polite in conversations with transgender people or how to interact with an individual who is gender transitioning.” It also warns students not to “police anyone’s gender expression.”

The Bi-Basics handout states, “For bisexually identified people to maintain their integrity in a homo-hating heterosexist society, they must have a strong sense of self, and the courage and conviction to live their lives in defiance of what passes for ‘normal.'”

The Allies and Safe Zones 101 Vocabulary list teaches students about “misgendering,” which consists in “[u]sing the incorrect name, pronouns, or gender for someone that is transgender.” According to the handout, misgendering is a “form of discrimination, when done consciously.”

A main stated goal of FSU’s Allies & Safe Zones program is to “push participants to examine the roots of their assumptions about gender and sexuality in hopes they will continue to do so in everyday life.”

Comments

Mx. Manners Hornbook of Etiquette.

I refuse to associate myself and cater to the mentally ill.

I shall continue to address men appearing people as men and women appearing people as women because that’s good manners. I care not what anyone has under their slacks or skirts. And I shouldn’t have to.

It is not good manners to make other people uncomfortable around you. The focus of social situations has always been to consider the others around you and being kind to them and to put them at ease.

In another long ago time, we were instructed that the first rule of good manners in polite society is not to engage in speaking about sex, politics, or religion.

Trannies combine all three social faux pas by their inconsiderate demands. Again no one should readjust their life for a minuscule percentage of mentally ill nuts.

I used to feel empathy for the mentally ill until these narcissistic kooks started making insane demands on normal, decent people.

I like one of Walsh’s explanations.

Humans are supposed to have 2 legs. If they do not, something went wrong. There is not a spectrum of the number of legs. There are 2.
Just like gender, there are 2.

Your DNA says which gender I will ascribe to you, not the parts, not the clothing, not your urges and not your feelings.
