Border Crisis: Mayorkas Announces New DHS Program Led to Seizure of 900lbs of Fentanyl

So I guess the Biden administration now admits that fentanyl coming across our wide-open border is a massive problem.
The Department of Homeland Security launched Operation Blue Lotus to target the fentanyl coming across the border. Officials have nabbed 900lbs of fentanyl so far:
The operation, exemplary of the Biden Administration’s multi-pronged strategy, includes an increase in targeted inspections conducted by CBP Officers and HSI Agents, canine units, and advanced technology at locations along the border. Intelligence gained through Operation Blue Lotus will enhance the targeting of drug traffickers at the border. It is designed to help continue to build criminal cases against the transnational criminal organizations behind the networks and facilitators dealing in this deadly substance.
Since its launch on March 13, 2023, Operation Blue Lotus has led to 18 seizures, 16 federal arrests, and two state arrests. Those seizures prevented over 900 pounds of fentanyl, over 700 pounds of methamphetamines, and over 100 pounds of cocaine from entering the United States through Sunday, March 19.

Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas touted the program during a trip to Nogales, AZ, home to the Mariposa Port:
Operation Blue Lotus leverages advanced analytics and intelligence capabilities at HSI and CBP. It includes the deployment of HSI [House Security Investigations] personnel alongside CBP [Customs and Border Protection] Officers at ports of entry, so that they can immediately pursue investigations as contraband is discovered in order to expose the networks.
CBP’s Forward Operating Labs (FOLs) at Ports of Entry conduct real-time analysis of unknown substances, enabling DHS to target, identify, and examine unknown powders, pills, crystalline substances, or organic materials for hard narcotics, precursor chemicals and components associated with the manufacturing or processing of synthetic drugs. In turn, that enables investigations to proceed more quickly.
The CBP captured almost 6,500 lbs of fentanyl in the Tucson area between October 2022 and February 2023. That’s 6,500 lbs in that one area.
Over 12,000 lbs have been seized at the ports of entry.
The border patrol has seized 465 lbs of fentanyl between the points of entry, enough to kill 100 million people.

You don’t get to claim credit for something you waited 3 years to implement, and you don’t get to claim credit for a problem you actively facilitated.
Some guys look good with a shaved bald head and some guys look like d*ckheads. People may say that I’m presumptuous or judgemental, but my gut tells me that Mayorkas is a just a d*ckhead to his core 🙂
He certainly can not perform in his hired duties.
I did my own math.. and it was more than likely wrong….but the numbers I ran came up with 1500 lbs, enough to kill every living person in the USA.. This is a disaster. Plain and simple.

Every time there is a Fentanyl bust we are told enough was seized to kill, every, man, woman and child in the United States. It seems enough is produced in the course of a year to kill everyone on the planet ten times over for 10,000 years. If it is really that potent then how is it possible so much is being produced? It reminds me how the DEA used to brag about the multimillion dollar “street value” of drug busts.
Yup… also strange that they’re professional enough to continue to pump this crap out without depopulating entire Chinese cities, but they couldn’t handle a little bat spit without tracking it out on their shoes.
The irony is that people are way larger than pills.

Here’s the problem. One admin actively and aggressively tried to do something about it. Fentanyl also flooded the market when all of those big sponsored caravans started showing up at the border which was def not Trump’s doing.
The contrast with Biden is a laissez faire and denial approach to border protection. He purposefully does nothing to stop Chinese shit-heroin. He actively encouraged illegal activity and defended, ignored, and otherwise interfered with border defense. Now he tries a big pr stunt to claim he’s a sovereignty hero? Fuck that guy!

My eldest is a CBP officer. They’ve been seizing more in the last few days for entirely different reasons. But fully alert CBP agents are the primary reason.
