Biden, Secret Service Don’t Have Visitor Logs at Delaware Residence Where Classified Documents Were Found
Why doesn’t the Secret Service keep logs of the president anywhere he goes for security reasons?
House Republicans are demanding the White House hand over visitor logs at President Joe Biden’s private Wilmington, DE, residence where White House lawyers found classified documents:
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, had demanded to see logs for the residence on Sunday.
“Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log,” Comer wrote to White House chief of staff Ron Klain. “As Chief of Staff, you are head of the Executive Office of the President and bear responsibility to be transparent with the American people on these important issues related to the White House’s handling of this matter.”
The White House counsel said no logs exist. From Fox News:
Republicans on Capitol Hill demanded the visitor logs this weekend following revelations that Biden’s lawyers had discovered a stash of classified documents inside the home’s garage. While it is common practice to keep comprehensive visitor logs at the White House, Biden’s lawyers say no such record exists for his home in Delaware.
“Like every President in decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal,” the White House Counsel’s Office told Fox News Digital on Monday. “But upon taking office, President Biden restored the norm and tradition of keeping White House visitors logs, including publishing them regularly, after the previous administration ended them.”
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the agents assigned to the home do not have records “because it’s a private residence.”
I’m not shocked the White House doesn’t keep visitor logs at residences, especially when someone leaves the office.
But I am shocked the Secret Service doesn’t keep logs at any residence or any place a president goes for security reasons.
The White House is saying that no visitor logs exist for his personal residence in Delaware. https://t.co/vk2wAkDsPk That will not end the headache for the Bidens. Indeed, it may make it worse…

…If Congress has a right to the information (which it does), it can now seek alternative sources for the information, including interviewing staff and family on past visitors. Those interviews are subject to criminal penalties for false statements.

But he takes classified information super-duper seriously!
Can we cut to the chase here? What’s happening (and has been happening) is a massive conspiracy of treason, in which Biden has sold himself to the Chicomms, and has used his son as a conduit to send classified information to the Chicomms. (Where do you think the Chicomms have been getting information allowing them to virtually imitate the F-35??)

All that said, Clinton (both of them), Obama, Pelosi, McConnell and John Kerry are all part of this. In fact, Bill Clinton started it.

All THAT said: Biden needs to be impeached, and soon. Pelosi needs to be impeached; Myorkas needs to be impeached; Garland needs to be impeached. ANYTHING less, and we’ve lost our country.
It’s about time we accellated the discussion to this point. To do otherwise is to lose our nation.
Sorry, but anyone who believes that doesn’t have a clue about how covering one’s arse in a bureaucracy works.
Somebody has a logbook that covers everyone who ever set foot in that house since it became Biden’s bolthole. If for no other reason that to protect the Secret Service in case anything happens which might threatens their reputation and funding.
Yep.
And they wonder why the people no longer trust them or even pay attention to them for that matter.
Log books, full face pictures, and car information. Of course they kept it.
They must have investigatory records, but not visitor logs per se.
The logs exist, but are stored in the same location as Hillary’s 30,000 lost emails.
Can’t they just dust for prints on the bags of money that were left for the Big Guys cut?
The man has spent half his time in office there. it is not just a residence, and things need to be documented
From the government that has been spying on all of us without a warrant forever, of course they have this information. Just not “officially”.
If Congress has a right to Trump’s tax returns, it surely has a right to know who has visiting Biden.
What exactly are we to make of the Garage Gate with plenty of classified documents in boxes but no logs kept?
Is Joe Biden admitting that he is above the law?
The secret Service has said the same thing about Mar A Lago several times since 2017
Biden showing he is a crook!
A private residence yet the taxpayer is on the hook to build a wall around the beach house
VP Biden is like SoS Clinton, by way of CiC Obama.
And it all SUCKS.
Imagining a rule that doesn’t exist. Maybe it stems from a delusion that the President is really important.
What I find interesting about all this, and I admit that I have no experience with classified documents, is that the whole thing seems so casual. Apparently, someone can take classified material (CM) off premises without going through a checkout procedure. No wonder no one knows what’s missing. At home, where casual, non clearanced individuals are expected, I would think they would have a single place where CM was kept, but apparently it was scattered about and then picked up like the Sunday paper when company arrived. How much material was taken home that he forgot he had it?
As if the Biden’s planned it this way, over the years.
For people who aren’t politically-connected handling classified material is far (far, far) from casual.
Recall that a Nuke Sub enlisted guy was drummed out — under The Lightbringer’s Administration AIR — for catching the surface of some classified gear in casual “here’s where I work” snaps. Yet, Hillary’s longtime aid can casually direct a *campaign* flunkie to retrieve the unlogged printed duplicates of classified documents she left unattended in an unlocked car, in public. (That’s four violations and counting, just to start. And we have the freaking txt messages directing this more than once. BTW, Anthony Weiner’s weiner pics disqualify anyone he’s married to or living with, let alone sharing electronic devices n data with. We have the receipts on that, too.)
Paraphrasing Mike Baker, recently asked about this on Joe Rogan: “It’s not hard. You have a box, and you put the secret stuff in that. You have another box for the stuff labeled a different way. And so on. It isn’t hard. BUT they have this problem with every administration.”
“Apparently, someone can take classified material (CM) off premises without going through a checkout procedure… (ect. — ed.)”
You are unclear.
You can’t have a gas stove (or car, it seems.)
They can have any kind of stove (or car) they like.
Also, their CO2 from flying to Davos doesn’t count. As Secretary Married Into Ketchup said, paraphrasing: “I have to fly private, because it’s easier for me and I’m important.”
Oh, wait, we’re talking about handling classified documents. Sorry about that. That works … exactly the same way. Any questions?
Visitor logs are evidence, of course there aren’t any.
Of course there are no visitor logs!
It’s a private residence!
A private residence with classified documents in the garage!
Hm. I wonder if Hillary kept logs of who used her bathroom?
I bet she made Bill keep logs on who used his!
For Vice Presidents, Secret Service protection ends 6 months after leaving office. That amount of time can be increased by the Department of Homeland Security, according to USA Today, but it was not for Joe Biden. So for 3/12 years Biden had no Secret Service agents available to keep logs.
I suppose he could’ve hired Hunter for $475,000 per month to do it. Hunter would’ve took video of himself in his Fruit of the Looms guarding the garage.
The Trump White House did keep visitor logs, but they stopped publishing them. There are -plenty of news articles back in 2017 announcing the decision. I think the logs were requested by the Jan 6 Committee.
About the residential visitor logs, it seems that there were always newspeople around Trump who reported what he did – remember all the photos of him golfing, having meetings, and so on.
I agree with the concept that someone has logs for security purposes because if something happened at the residence, there would be some serious searching for those responsible.
I saw Pence on a Fox program where he described the process he went through every day at the VP residence – get the files from the military guy in the SCIF, read then, returned them to the military guy who put them in the burn bag. He mentioned that there was the same procedure in the White House.
I thought that was odd when I first heard the demands. Who keeps visitor logs at their private residence? Then again, who keeps Classified Documents in their garage next to their Corvette?
This is an overlooked point. If the location is a private residence and no official duties are conducted there then lack of visitor log might be plausible, though not desirable. The presence of multiple batches of classified documents, some reported to be TS/compartmentalized level, in what ie claimed as the private residence where Biden performed no official duties of the office of President or VP is a problem.
If no official duties were performed then there isn’t a shield or cloak of official activity to hide behind. If the WH seeks to shift their stance that Biden did perform official duties in the residence then they need the visitor logs. Can’t be both though they will likely try to muddy the water and many media outlets will carry their water.
The lack of a visitor log once again highlights how bad this was in terms of the pearl-clutching breach of security that liberals droned on about for months when it was about getting Trump.
Well for d/prog the pearls only go one way…..
ITEM 4: AP reported, “House GOP demands visitor logs in Biden classified docs case.”
Paragraph 13 said, “A federal appeals court ruled in 2013 that the logs can be withheld under presidential executive privilege.
That unanimous ruling was written by Judge Merrick Garland, who is now serving as Biden’s attorney general.”
How convenient.
The Democrat Reich lies about everything. Why believe this lie? It implies the Secret Service does no vetting of visitors to the president’s home. Seriously? Every Democrat lie is a deliberate insult to the intelligence of normal Americans.
If the Secret Service did not keep track for who was entering the Biden house in Wilmington (2021-2022), it would also be true for Palm Beach (2017-2021). Was it?
The needle on my BS detector is almost constantly buried in the red anymore.. Reagan’s “trust, but verify” is wretchedly out of date. There is no reason to trust at all, not since government switched itself from “what are we permitted to do” over to “what are we not forbidden to do.”
If anyone believes this B.S., I have a toll bridge I will sell you for $100.00.
