Female Student Forced to Share Room With Biological Male on Overseas School Trip

Female Student Forced to Share Room With Biological Male on Overseas School Trip

“deal with it”

The most stunning thing about this story is how the girl, who was upset, was basically told that no one cared.

The Sentinel reports:

Eudora girl forced to room with biological male on school-sponsored overseas trip

On a school trip to Costa Rica earlier this month, three female high school students in the Eudora school district were assigned to a two-bed hotel room with a transgender student who is biologically male — meaning one of them would have had to share a bed with the trans student — and school officials refused a request for a room change.

One of the girls objected and told a chaperone she didn’t feel comfortable with the arrangement, but she was told to “deal with it.”

A source speaking with the Sentinel on condition of anonymity said the girl raised the question with the teacher who leads the annual overseas trips via text message and was told the situation would be dealt with.

But instead, the source says the Eudora teacher’s wife told the girls who were upset to “deal with it.”

The girl — according to the source — was devastated, calling her mother in tears and refusing to sleep in the bed, instead sleeping on the floor and in other friends’ rooms.

The Sentinel reached out to Eudora, Kansas, Superintendent of Schools Stu Moeckel about the situation, asking if these events happened as described, what action might be taken regarding the chaperones charged with student safety and if the district would provide a refund.

Moeckel responded via email that he could not comment on an issue regarding an individual student.

“As you are likely aware, we are generally unable to comment on issues pertaining to individually identified students or staff members, as their privacy interests are concerned and federal and/or state law limits disclosure,” Moeckel said.

Coward’s way out.

Whether or not a refund will be issued is not a FERPA protected piece of information. Also, staff members are NOT protected by FERPA, so their comments on “dealing with it” are not protected by law.

This madness is not going away. It is increasing rather than decreasing. In a few years we will look back and we will call this the good old days.

Hey, three guesses what opens disclosure right-the-fuck up?

I’d have advised her to call the Costa Rica police, or perhaps first to complain to the hotel manager and tell him that if he doesn’t resolve the situation the next stop will be the police. I doubt either the manager or the police would see it the way the school does.

It was three girls and a boy assigned to a room with two beds. Go figure.

Yeah, I don’t get the math here. Unless one of the girls was 400 lbs.

Well, don’t expect me to peek under the sheets and give you a status report.

Sorry, I was momentarily confused. For a moment I was thinking you were saying that there were THREE total students, which was not my original impression, so I went back to the article to check and came away with the impression that it confirmed there were three total students. This says awful things about my age-related cognition. Clearly, I have no choice left to me other than to run for president as a Democrat.

Can my girlfriend say she is trans to room with me on the high school trip?

Unfortunately for the victim but not for the school district, rape and a gigantic lawsuit seems to be the only thing these days that might cure this nonsense. Given that it is a predictable consequence of the protested action, hopefully 8 figures in punitive damages might apply?

Didn’t that already happen in VA?

Not as a result of these crazy policies. At least if you’re talking about the incident in Loudon County that got a lot of publicity a few months ago, there was no trans-friendly bathroom policy in place at the time, and the reason the boy was in the girls’ bathroom was because that was where he and his girlfriend regularly met for consensual sex. This time she wasn’t in the mood and said no, so he raped her. He was apparently wearing a skirt at the time, but I don’t know why.

We’re that my child, I would contact an airline, and have a ticket waiting for her at the airport. I would have her get the heck out of there now.

Going by the experience of John McAfee, South American prisons have no compunctions about accommodating US citizens for extended stays. That sort of justice would have been much more decisive and incontestable than any remnant of US justice that remains to us rational people anymore.

Deny, Deflect, Obfuscate.

Girls (actual girls) shouldn’t be sleeping in the same bed, either.

A Punk Named Yunk | May 22, 2022 at 11:21 am

Action they needed to take:
The other three girls should have picked him up and physically tossed HIM out of the room. They would have been punished for that but it would have demonstrated it could be done. Others would follow soon enough.

I have been banned on some forums for straightforward remarks and it may happen again on this forum. In which case nobody will see this post either. But I have to take a stand as well.
