Two-Thirds Of Palestinians Surveyed Support Violence, Ending Recognition of Israel
Study by Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research shows Palestinians want war, not peace.
On March 3, 2022, Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman reportedly said, “We look at Israel as a potential ally but before that, it should solve its problems with the Palestinians.”
LIF doesn’t know whether Israel responded directly to this comment (although it did subsequently issue an unusual condemnation of a Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia).
The State of Israel expresses its sorrow to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the horrific attack by the Iranian-backed Houthis.
This attack is further proof that Iran’s regional aggression knows no bounds & reinforces the concern of Iran’s IRGC being removed from the FTO list.

Should Israel choose to respond directly to the crown prince’s remarks, here’s what it could say:
‘Israel would be delighted to resolve its problems with the Palestinians. Unfortunately, the Palestinians don’t seem much interested in resolving their problems with Israel. Consider some findings from a new study by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR), on how Palestinians view their relationship with Israel. As reported by the Palestinian Media Watch, the PCPSR survey shows:
While many international actors including the US, the EU and others, constantly voice their support for the so-called “Two State Solution” – creating a new “State of Palestine” comprised of the Gaza Strip, some or all of Judea and Samaria and some or all of Jerusalem – only 40% of Palestinians support that idea. Conversely, only 32% of Palestinians support the “One State Solution” with “equal rights” for all citizens. In a similar manner, 67% of Palestinians support the suspension of the PLO’s recognition of Israel and 61% support the decision to end the implementation of agreements with Israel including security coordination.
When asked about the most effective means of “ending the Israeli occupation and building an independent state,” the report says that 68% of Palestinians chose violence (44% chose armed struggle (i.e. engage in all out terror similar to the PA launched 2000 – 2005 terror campaign) and 24% chose “popular resistance” (the PA euphemism that includes sporadic terror attacks like shootings, stabbings, and car rammings)). Only 25% of the Palestinians chose the path of “negotiations.”
‘Tragically, there is nothing surprising about Palestinian rejection of negotiations. Israel offered final resolution peace proposals in 2008 and 2000, which the Palestinians ignored. Israel was ready to make peace after the Six Day War in 1967, when the Arab League responded, No peace, no negotiations, no recognition of Israel. Israel accepted the United Nations partition plan of 1947, which Palestinian Arabs and the Arab states rejected and responded to by launching a war on the nascent state. Even before that, the major Jewish leaders (David Ben-Gurion, Chaim Weizmann and Yitzhak Ben-Zvi) were willing to accept the 1937 Peel Commission partition proposal, which Arab leaders (notably the grand mufti, Haj Amin al-Husseini, who collaborated with the Nazis) rejected out of hand.
‘Indeed, the Palestinians seem to Israelis to be “on the same path, making the same wrong choices, and holding the same grudges that hardly leave their elders until their young ones inherit them.”
‘With respect, Israel thinks it’s the Palestinians’ turn to offer a peace proposal. Not just a shopping list of demands, but what they are willing to give up as part of a final, good peace. Final, as in permanent; Israel isn’t looking for another treaty of Hudaybiyah. A peace proposal issued in English, Hebrew, and – most importantly – Arabic; the same in all three languages, instead of saying one thing for foreign audiences and another when talking to their own people.
‘For example, until the Palestinians are willing to say, very clearly, to everyone, that they will give up their so-called “right of return” demand that Israel accept millions of descendants of Arab Muslims and Christians who once lived in what is now Israel, Israel has nothing to discuss with them. Sadly, the PCPSR study offers little reason for optimism on this score:
When asked what the most vital goal for the Palestinians should be, 33% answered that “the first most vital goal should be to obtain the right of return of refugees to their 1948 towns and villages.”
As PMW has shown, the PA uses the demand that Israel be flooded with millions of so-called “Palestinian refugees” as a means to bring about the destruction of Israel. For Israel to agree to this demand, Israel would have to agree to commit national suicide. In other words, one in every three Palestinians believes that the most vital goal for the Palestinians is to destroy Israel – something that Israel will never agree to of course.
‘Israel knows that Saudis, too, have suffered from Palestinian rejectionism and support for terrorists, and that Saudis and many other Arab peoples would rather focus on their future and that of their children. Israelis agree. Israel, too, wants to focus on its future and that of its children.
‘To that end, Israel asks you to use whatever influence you have with the Palestinians to persuade them to give up living in the past. Please, encourage them to think about their future and the future of their children. Let them say to Israelis, “We who have come from a land where parents bury their children, we who have fought against you, the Israelis – We say to you today in a loud and a clear voice: Enough of blood and tears. Enough.”
‘Yes, Israel would be delighted to make peace with the Palestinians. But Israel can’t do it unless the Palestinians are willing to make peace with Israel.’

“Yes, Israel would be delighted to make peace with the Palestinians.”
But Israel can’t do so when 2/3 of the Palestinians want to kill them.
Keep in mind how Clinton offered them everything they wanted and more and Arafat told him to pound sand if the Israelis were still alive.
It wasn’t Clinton it was Barak the then prime minister of Israel.
Some neighbors are just bad people.
So give them violence. That is what they want.
Napalm. A little dab’l do’ya.
liberal use of thematic weapons is what they need, for every person killed or wounded, one thematic weapon should be used. They want terror, deliver it to them,
Nice to see you supporting genocide.
Also, napalm is very easy to make, the people of Israel deserve relief.
They didn’t use napalm when they seemed on the verge of defeat in 1948, they clearly know better than you.
Napalm smells good in the morning.
Not funny and you undermined your initial statement of support for Israel by then suggesting Israel should commit a war crime.
Think before you speak.
Israel is completely in the right, those nasty, psychotic, Arab squatters are wrong. Israel and Jews in general are a very important asset for all of humanity, those nasties are good for nothing losers.
Good thing Israel’s leadership doesn’t resemble you.
And it’s not like they ever even got cotton out of ’em.
Thumbs Down by mistake.
I’m lost part the point where I have any patience left. As far as I’m concerned the Palestinians earn what happens to them. Let them rot in the West Bank and Gaza.
Israel should have driven all of them out after ’68, and then told the Arab countries around them that every further attack would result in another chunk of the Middle East becoming part of their country.
The problem is that they will not rot peacefully. Israel builds and creates a new value for all of humanity, pallyscum only tears down. It is hard to comprehend how a people can become so useless.
There’s no such nation of ‘Palestine.’ Equally, there are no ‘Palestinians.’ One might as well declare the region Canaan populated with Canaanites; both are absurd monikers.
They’re mongrel Arabs, despised by other Arabs who do not want them inside their borders. Worse, all embrace Islam, a cancer on this earth.
These mongrel Arabs wallow in their own filth as they wage decades long campaign of murder against Israel in Israel’s own backyard. The only cure for cancer is to eradicate it.
Quick who invented algebra?
By the way the term “mongrel” is a racial one and I would appreciate you dropping it immediately, and the Arabs…well like many third world countries are behind the curve compared to the west. So to are multiple European countries do you despise them as much as Arabs?
George W Bush was glad to get you riled up for his “war on terror” campaign spree it is over. Abandon Bush, and abandon your Arab hating world view.
Israel has made peace and opened relations with multiple Arab countries recently a positive trend I want to continue. I want to profit from and deal with Arabs not hate them.
Mongrel (n.), derogatory term for a variation that is not genuine; something irregular or inferior or of dubious origin.

Some antiquated words fell out of use for good reason.
Those Arabs are 1400 years behind tghe rest of civilization, that is what happens when people follow the word of a murdering barbarian.
Then quick come up with an Arab country that lacks electricity, do they actually lack it or are there rolling blackouts like in California?
It’s still true decades later.
If Palestine put down their weapons there would be no more war.
If Israel put down their weapons there would be no more Israel.
Given the continued Israeli encroachment on Palestinian territories if Palestine put down their weapons there would be genocide. Literal genocide as legally defined by the UN.
Israel keeps bleating on about “they don’t want Israel to exist” yet continually keeps trying to expand and illegally settle Palestinian territories. Perhaps Palestinians would be more tolerant of an Israel that wasn’t actively occupying them with force.
These are disputed territories. If the Palestinians want to negotiate they are free to come to the table as they have been for over a decade. They could have agreed to terms by Olmert, and Barak that would have come to a conclusion on settlements but turned those offers down.
The intifada ended years ago, and since then there have been Israeli peace offers with Palestinian rejectionism.
When the Palestinians have weapons they point them at Israel while using human shields to maximize civilian casualties, when they don’t their population grows (as shown by their population size compared to 1967).
Israel tried seeing what happens when it unilaterally withdraws and destroys settlements (Gaza strip) and it isn’t pretty.
They are only disputed in the minds of demented people.
Time to change that diaper.
There are no “Palestinian territories”, and Israel is not “encroaching” on anything. There are territories that legally do not belong to any country, but are administered by Israel. Israel had every right to annex these territories and be done with it, but has chosen not to pending negotiations.
The plain fact is that the only reason the dispute exists in the first place is the Arabs’ insane lust for killing Jews. If not for this bloodlust the Jews would never have had to establish Israel in the first place, and it would not have expanded since. Every single war Israel has fought has been forced on it by the Arabs’ continued desire to wipe it out.
Israel has never aggressed on its neighbors and there is no prospect that it ever will, but it constantly has to be on guard for aggression from those neighbors, including those that have officially signed peace treaties, but have never made true peace.
Worst is your claim that Israel “continually keeps trying to … illegally settle Palestinian territories.” Israel does not settle anything. Israel has not established any new communities in the territories in decades.
What you are talking about is simply Jews choosing to live in their homeland. Calling that illegal makes you a fucking antisemite, no better than Hitler himself. If you think it is wrong for a Jew to live in Judaea, then you can go to Hell where you belong. Because if Jews have no right to live in Judaea then where do they have a right to live?
And if you think Israel has some obligation to forcibly prevent them from living there then you are supporting crimes against humanity. If any other country tried to forcibly prevent people from living where they like because of their race, you’d be up in arms. If the USA forcibly evacuated a black settlement because it was surrounded by hostile whites who would massacre them if they were allowed, and the army was tired of protecting them, you would condemn it and demand that the army stay and protect them. But not only do you condone Israel doing so, you demand it!
Get this through your nazi head: Jews are the indigenous people of Judaea and have the right to live there, and no government, whether Israel or any other, has the right to stop them.
“If you think it is wrong for a Jew to live in Judaea, then you can go to Hell where you belong.”
Focus needs to change to sending them ti hell, not an invintation, rather forceably consigning them.
Yes, it appears that you are a nazi. The nazis’ socialism is not their main or most notorious feature.
You are an antisemite. The “settlement” issue is by definition about Jews living in the “territories”. When an Israeli Arab chooses to live in the “territories” that is not a “settlement”. When a Jew does, wherever he lives is by definition a “settlement”, whether it’s an apartment in the middle of a large city or a caravan on a hilltop that has been uninhabited for thousands of years.
The fucking UN is an antisemitic organization and has no authority to make anything “illegal”. Appealing to its authority is a sure sign that whatever position you’re taking is wrong.
Saying Jews don’t have the right to live in Judaea is exactly the same as saying Indians have no right to live in Tennessee, or that Englishmen have no right to live in England. It’s inherently antisemitic and racist. Saying that a Jew born in Modi’in has no right to move a few miles up the road to Jerusalem, or a few more miles to Hevron, is just like saying a Welshman born in Bristol has no right to move to Cardiff. If a Jew can be forcibly expelled from Hevron or Jerusalem, then why not from England or Russia?
And what about Jews who were born in the “territories”? On what grounds do you claim they have no right to live there?
There is no national border defining the “territories”; they are simply the part of Mandatory Palestine that has not yet been incorporated into the state of Israel. The 1949 armistice explicitly and specifically said that the green line (because it was drawn in green pencil) was not to be regarded as a border.
There are no new Jewish communities in the “territories”. The existing communities’ population has grown because residents have babies, and because people move there. The BBC article you linked to is about a proposal to (gasp!) build 3,000 new homes (which likely means about 200 new buildings) within existing communities.
If Jews so much as pitch a tent outside existing communities’ boundaries, on uninhabited land that nobody owns or even on land that belongs to them, the government evicts them, with the support of you and your fellow antisemites. Meanwhile Arabs build thousands of new buildings everywhere in the “territories” and the government turns a blind eye.
No land has been stolen from any Arab. Jewish communities exist only on state land and on land that is owned by Jews. Some are on land that the government once upon a time compulsorily purchased from its former owners for legitimate government purposes, as happens in every country. But most are not. (And those former owners included Jews.) But any Arab who claims his land was stolen has full access to the Israeli courts.
In fact the Israeli courts bend over backwards to entertain every claim that land has been stolen from some Arab. If so much as a square metre of the land on which a building was constructed is claimed (without documentation) by an Arab, or even if it’s not claimed but someone else claims that it belongs to an unidentified Arab, then the courts order the building demolished.
Those are the facts, and you can take your antisemitic propaganda and shove it up your backside.
Replying to your most recent post here, as there’s no ‘reply’ link on that one.
You keep calling me a nazi, now claiming that their politics are irrelevant because they’re known for something else. Well I’m not a nazi: I’ve never committed genocide. I’ve also never called for genocide, unlike you. By your own standards I do believe you just confirmed that you are a nazi.
Not that confirmation was needed. You keep bleating on about “Jews”. Me, I’m talking about illegal Israeli settlements. They’re illegal. They’re illegal because they’re settlements in occupied territory, entirely irrespective of the race of the people settling them.
If a non-Jewish Israeli moves into one of those settlements, yes, they’re breaking the law too. If they choose to move to Gaza and live in the buildings Israel keeps bombing and the Palestinians welcome them, no, that’s not an illegal settlement – just as it wouldn’t be if a Jewish person did that. The race is not the pertinent factor, no matter how much nazis keep trying to claim otherwise.
The UN has no authority? Ok, you keep holding that position. I can understand why, you want to keep breaking international law.
Then you go on again about an ethnostate. You keep accusing me of being a nazi yet keep demonstrating the behaviours they’re so famous for.
I’m not anti-semite. I’m anti ‘going back hundreds of years to claim rights to land you haven’t lived on for generations’ because that leads to constant ongoing wars. Jewish people have no more right to that land than the generations of people that have lived there.
As for your claim that the territories are Mandatory Palestine that just hasn’t been subsumed into Israel that’s just the genocidal ethnostate racist in you speaking. Nobody gave those lands to Israel, and Israel has no right to them. Israeli citizens break international law when they settle on them.
As for ‘not a border’, it was fucking easier for me to get into East Berlin than it is for Palestinians to get into the parts of their land that have been stolen from them by the Israelis.
(Hey, look. I managed to make those points with mentioning Jewish people at all. Because I’m not a fucking racist, no matter how frequently you throw around false insults)
I’m ending this conversation. Reply or don’t, your points are just repeated lies, wrongful accusations and revulsive demands for genocide. Fuck that.
And you confirm again that you are a nazi. The most significant feature of the nazis is their desire to wipe out the Jews. OK, maybe you don’t want to literally wipe the Jews out yourself, you just want to let your Arab friends do it for you.
The definition of a “settlement” is any place over the green line where a Jew chooses to live. Any Jew, whether Israeli or not. Where non-Jewish Israelis choose to live is not a “settlement”. If a Jew buys an apartment in Jerusalem, in the neighborhoods that were under Jordanian occupation for 19 years, he is by definition a “settler”. If he is an Arab then by definition he is not a “settler”. And that makes the entire concept of “settlements” and condemning them antisemitic.
Even if the “territories” were legally occupied territory (which they are not, because they don’t belong to any other country), there is nothing in “international law” that says citizens of the occupying power may not voluntarily choose to live in that territory, let alone that the occupying power must forcibly prevent them from doing so. You can’t seriously believe that UK citizens had no right to move to Germany during the occupation, let alone that the UK would be required by international law to clap them in chains and forcibly deport them. And yet that is what you and your fellow antisemites demand of Israel.
The UN has no authority. That is simple fact. It is not a world government. It cannot make law. It’s just an association of sovereign governments and is subordinate to them. And it is a fucking antisemitic organization whose opinions are irrelevant. Especially the General Assembly, which is just a talking club with no authority to do anything at all but talk.
Now you go on about “ethnostates”. Almost all countries in the world are “ethnostates”. The USA is one of the few that aren’t, since it was deliberately constructed by immigrants from all over Europe.
As for the Jews’ right to their homeland, it’s a simple matter of property law. If someone steals your house, so long as you keep serving notice that you are not abandoning it and intend to return, you don’t lose your title to it just because you’ve been forcibly kept out for a long time. Stolen property remains stolen, so long as the owner keeps pressing his claim. And the Jews have kept pressing their claim to their land every single day since the Romans took it. And every occupier of the land has known that very well. Therefore neither the Romans nor the Arabs nor the Turks ever had legal title. And of course the British never even claimed legal title; they were given it to hold in trust for the Jews, whose claim was recognized at the San Remo conference.
There is no Palestine
Perhaps it’s time to reduce their number by around 2/3rds
How about we don’t mass murder people. Is that an option?
I suppose you are referring to the PLO killing Jews.
Apparently not to the Pali-Nazis it isn’t. They, like the original Nazis, have created a society built on a genocidal hatred of Jews above all else. It does not matter to the Pali-Nazis that the Jews today are armed to the teeth, probably with nuclear weapons. The Islamofascists, especially in Gaza, have declared this a battle to the death, where the winner is the one who is still alive.
Israel did not set the terms of this battle, but she will have to fight according to those terms. The Palis live to kill or be killed, not to build a functioning state. Israel does not plan to die in a second Shoah. So the Palestinians then, have chosen to die.
Rabid animals are best euthanized.
You use language like that then wonder why the people you’re referring to feel existential threat.
How about Palestinians stop killing Israelis and Israelis stop killing Palestinians and stupid idiots online stop calling human beings animals.
When a hornet comes around and stings you, you don’t go into the nest and arrest that individual hornet
I like the hornet analogy, I have nests on my estate, I made a flame thrower for erradiation. They are so dumb that they fly into the inferno.
If “Palestinians” would ever stop killing Israelis then automatically the Israelis would no longer have any need to kill them. That’s the point of the saying that if they laid down their arms there’d be peace, while if Israel did so there’d be a resumption of the Holocaust. (Not a “second” Holocaust, but a resumption of the original one, since they were the Germans’ allies in WW2, and simply never stopped attempting to complete the job.)
And like their nazi allies, they are animals, not people. Just as MS-13 scum are animals. They have shed the Divine image in which they were created, and have become two-legged beasts.
Besides rightly disgusting people and making Israel supporters look racist what the hell have you achieved with your horrible language and literal suggestion of a genocide?
Here is a good rule of thumb to being an internet tough guy
1. Don’t say it if it is meant to make me sound like a tough I don’t care guy at the cost of saying something extremely racist
2. Don’t say it if my cause is hurt a million fold by it
3. Don’t say it if it is stupid at best.
Has it occured to you that some internet tough guys might actually be tough.
I think that a measured responce proportional to their aggression in in order. Considering their actions, that response should be at least 100,000 to one more severe. Thye have shown that they are not smart enough to get the message with anything less.
Are they fully human, maybe not?
Did your internet tough guy act achieve something besides making it impossible for me to share this article with people?
It is not our fault that Arabs are comparativelydull witted or thatthe stagnated,
The vast majority of them are smarter than you sir.
So many comments on here advocating genocide. I thought Legal Insurrection was a place for moderate intelligent news and commentary, not the sort of hateful behaviour we’re used to seeing from the political extremes.
Disappointing.
Itr appears that your people have earned extreme scorn for stupidity and irrational aggression. They may never learn better, at some point people will decide they have had enough, and then your people will be held fully accountable.
wtf ‘your people’. You don’t know who my people are.
You do however continually demean and dehumanise others because of their racial heritage. Very reminiscent of 1930s Germany. Except you go further and advocate eradication of them too – that’s flat out early 40s Germany.
I don’t know who ‘your people’ are, but whoever they happen to be, I’m pretty confident that they’re ashamed of you.
Killing terrorists is not genocide.
