Mexico Charges Seven With Weapons Trafficking Related to Operation Fast and Furious
Two guns from the operation were found at Brian Terry’s murder scene. Do not forget Brian. Do not forget Jaime Zapata, who was murdered by gangs in Mexico with guns from another gun-walking scheme.
A Mexican judge issued seven arrest warrants with weapons trafficking related to Operation Fast and Furious.
The ATF under President Barack Obama and AG Eric Holder ran Operation Fast and Furious as a way to track guns to Mexico. They ended losing a bunch of them.
Authorities found two of the guns present at the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.
From Reuters:
Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, the convicted Sinaloa cartel boss, ex-Security Minister Genaro Garcia Luna and former federal police intelligence official Luis Cardenas, were named in a Sunday statement from the attorney general’s office linked to the so-called “Fast and Furious” gun running scandal from 2009-2011.
All three, however, are currently behind bars in either the United States or Mexico.
The attorney general’s office did not respond to written questions seeking additional information on the new arrest warrants, including whether or not the Mexican government will seek to extradite Guzman, currently serving a life sentence in U.S. federal prison.
How about those ATF and other government officials who thought of this crazy scheme and lost the weapons? People used these guns to kill Brian Terry and so many more in Mexico.
How about Eric Holder? I wish every birthday for him to be behind bars and the prison gives Brian’s mom the key. I grew close to the family while investigating and demanding answers about the operation when I worked at Breitbart.
I don’t have much trust in Mexico’s law system.
Never forget Brian Terry. DO NOT forget him. Do not forget Agent Jaime Zapata, who was murdered by gangs in Mexico using guns from another gun-walking scheme.

I can think of 3 you missed.
Hundreds of Mexican Nationals have been killed by these weapons.
Might not be judged today – but there is a Judgement they won’t avoid.
I want them judged today.
I want them to be put to death, and barring that to spend the rest of their miserable lives in prison.
“The attorney general’s office did not respond to written questions seeking additional information”
And why should he? A previous AG completely failed to cooperate, was declared in contempt of Congress, and then… absolutely nothing.
Holder, Clinton, and Obama need to be held to account for Fast and Furious. The current Congress is wasting money investigating the protests from last January in DC, when they need to be following up on this miscarriage of justice. Holder should have been forced to resign at the least. He truly should have been prosecuted. Look at what Pelosi, Schumer, et al, did to Alberto Gonzalez, destroying his reputation for behavior that Democrat AG’s take as their birthright. They ruined Gonzalez’ reputation, yet today allow Merrick Garland to ride roughshod over our Constitution. Obama and a compliant Congress let the race hustler Holder off scot free. The Fast and Furious scandal makes Watergate look like child’s play. There is no statute of limitations on murder, nor is there on sedition. Holder should be tried on both charges. Hillary is culpable in this instance as well since she was SoS at the time this boondoggle was put together. Don’t ever forget Brian Terry or Jaime Zapata. Both were murdered with weapons allowed into Mexico on the express permission of Holder and the corrupt, useless BATFE.
“The ATF under President Barack Obama and AG Eric Holder ran Operation Fast and Furious as a way to track guns to Mexico. They ended losing a bunch of them….”
No, they never had any intention of tracking the firearms. The Bush admin ran a similar operation which was done in cooperation with Mexican Law Enforcement because they did actually intend to track the guns. Still a stupid idea. Operation Gun Runner, of which Operation Wide Receiver was a part, involved actually interdicting the firearms and arresting the straw purchasers, and again had the cooperation of Mexican LEOs with the full intention that these firearms would never be used by dangerous criminals in crimes on the Mexican side of the border. It was an example of a botched law enforcement operation simply because it was still to easy to lose track of the guns. Probably because Mexico is corrupt from the lowliest patrolman to the highest courts in the land (and no doubt higher). They shut that down after only allowing 500 straw purchases.
No, Obama and Holder were gun control fanatics and they wanted to create a crisis (and not let it go to waste). Their claim was that we needed strict gun control in this country because of all the “crime guns” flooding into Mexico.
It was a claim based upon several lies. Probably the most prominent was the lie that something like 90% of the guns used in crimes in Mexico came from the U.S. Never was true. The Mexican authorities only asked U.S. law enforcement to trace firearms that they had good reason to suspect came from the U.S. If on the other hand they siezed guns or simply found them at crime scenes that had Mexican armory stamps (a lot of the guns used by the cartels are stolen by Army deserters who can make a lot more money working for the cartels especially if they show up with their own equipment) they don’t ask us to trace those. They don’t need to; they know where they came from. Similarly for a lot of other firearms that flooded in from south of their own border.
It’s simply that when they asked the U.S. to trace the firearms, a high percentage of those requests turned out to confirm the firearms came from the U.S. simply because it’s not all that hard to tell if it came in from Venezuela, Colombia, or on the other hand the U.S.
The Obama/Holder crime syndicate’s Operation Fast and Furious was intentionally criminal (and probably state sponsored terrorism on the part of the U.S.,, or an act of war) because they wanted to manufacture the evidence they needed to ban guns. So they simply smuggled hundreds of firearms across the border intending to release them into the wild, without informing the Mexican government, with the intention they’d be used in crimes, abandoned at the crime scene or siezed, wildly increase the number of gun traces that confirmed the firearms came from the U.S. as a pretense for draconian gun control measures here.
It involved over 2,000 firearms and was intended to fuel criminal violence. It wasn’t botched; it worked as intended. ATF agents under Obama/Biden, unlike under Bush/Cheney, testified they were to told to stand down rather than interdict the firearms or arrest straw purchasers. They only stopped because two of their firearms were found near the Brian Terry murder scene and that threatened to expose the crimes commited under color of law.
Maybe they will turn states evidence to go after the bigger fish?
Holder’s DOJ also had an arrangement with the Sinaloa cartel (el Chapo) under which they provided intell on operations by rival cartel in exchange for protection. The Sinaloa was a significant beneficiary of the Fast and Furious op.
Just how many US officials took the Plata? That might also explain the urge to keep the borders open. 10% for the Big Guy?
