Staffers Deserting ‘Sinking Ship’ Kamala Harris

“One of the things we’ve said in our little text groups among each other is what is the common denominator through all this and it’s her”

The Democrats have a serious problem in Kamala Harris. Her poll numbers are even worse than Biden’s and staffers are walking away from her office.

Even reliably liberal news outlets are starting to acknowledge the issue because they know she’s a loser in 2024 if Joe doesn’t make it for any reason.

This is from the Washington Post:

A Kamala Harris staff exodus reignites questions about her leadership style — and her future ambitions

The rumors started circulating in July: Vice President Harris’s staff was wilting in a dysfunctional and frustrated office, burned out just a few months after her historic swearing-in and pondering exit strategies. A few days later, Harris hosted an all-staff party at her official residence, where most of her office bit into hamburgers and posted pictures of smiling, congenial co-workers on Twitter, pixelated counterpoints to the narrative of an office in shambles.

“Let me tell you about these burgers at the VP’s residence!!” chief Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders gushed in a tweet. “The food was good and the people were amazing.” Her official defense against reports of staff unrest was more searing. She called people who lobbed criticism behind nameless quotes “cowards” and stressed that working for a groundbreaking vice president was a difficult job, but not a dehumanizing one. “We are not making rainbows and bunnies all day,” she told one outlet. “What I hear is that people have hard jobs and I’m like ‘welcome to the club.’ ”

Five months later, Sanders is leaving the vice president’s office, the highest-profile member of an end-of-year exodus that includes communications chief Ashley Etienne and two other staffers who help shape the vice president’s public image. Sanders told The Washington Post her departure is not due to any unhappiness or dysfunction, but rather because she is ready for a break after three years of the relentless pressure that came with speaking for and advising the vice president and president while navigating a global pandemic.

The post even quotes a former staffer who claims Harris has had this same problem for years:

“One of the things we’ve said in our little text groups among each other is what is the common denominator through all this and it’s her,” said Gil Duran, a former Democratic strategist and aide to Harris who quit after five months working for her in 2013. In a recent column, he said she’s repeating “the same old destructive patterns.”

“Who are the next talented people you’re going to bring in and burn through and then have (them) pretend they’re retiring for positive reasons,” he told The Post.

She’s a disaster.

In June, staffers claimed her office is a toxic, abusive mess.

Today, it seems like everyone is trying to advise her in an effort to get her back on track.

This is from Politico:

Harris allies want her to take the reins as a staff shakeup looms

Kamala Harris is undergoing yet another transition.

Less than a year after assembling a mostly new team to help settle her into the vice presidency, key members of Harris’ orbit are leaving and even more are eyeing the exits.

Some Harris confidantes and Democratic allies are urging her to more aggressively embrace the concept of a reset, arguing that she needs to put her rocky first year behind her and openly embrace the idea that she’s entering a new phase. But others, including some top aides, are resistant to signaling a major shift is afoot, suggesting that the internal restructuring only feeds a narrative of disorder and that most of the new blood coming to the vice president’s office won’t be visible to the wider public anyway…

The shakeup among Harris’ staff has led to speculation about how she and her top aides have managed the office, as well as her own capacity as a boss. Aware of the grumbling, top Harris allies are defending her leadership skills, while characterizing the withdrawals as part of the usual burnout that comes from working in a pressure-cooker environment.

Out of all the mistakes Biden has made, picking Harris as his running mate was one of the worst.

During an appearance on FOX News, Joe Concha of The Hill called her a sinking ship:

Fox News contributor Joe Concha on Saturday called Harris’ office a “sinking ship” during commentary on Sanders’ departure.

“I guess when your boss’ approval ratings are at 28% and she’s polling even lower on her number one job, the U.S. southern border where migrants continue to flow over, two million passing over this year. I guess I would leave too, because this is a sinking ship,” said Concha.

It’s an apt description.

Please remember that her presidential campaign collapsed on a general chaos and loathing in her campaign staff. This lady is glow in the dark toxic.

Biden and Harris side by side in a photo can be captioned ‘nothing and next to nothing’. Biden was ‘chosen’ because he is a life long sell out. Harris was chosen because she is simply a female form that is red on the inside and brown on the outside.

    Biden was chosen
    Harris was chosen

But neither were chosen by voters. It was all done in the back room by the devil knows who.

I love Biden & Harris. The perfect example of why the “best” D candidate is bad news for America.

Clint will need two empty chairs next time.

That we’ll may be, but they are stuck with her. And as Sundowner isn’t going to last 3 more years she will be crowned Empress some day.
Personally hoping it’s tomorrow, not that 1 decision would be different between the two, but to show it was all a ruse.

My first thought was, “Pressure. What pressure?” Harris has no responsibilities, is involved in zero policy decisions, and has a job that only requires her to represent her skin color (sorry, but true) and gender which is exactly why she was picked out of a group of choices whose resumes only checked those two boxes.

Then I thought about how her staff on the surface just needs to make sure she is on time for photo ops but the hard part is mopping up after her messes. Biden’s staff just needs to prop him up infront of large print teleprompters and when he goes off script, cut the mic, pound out music and shuffle him over to the awaiting arms of Dr. Jill (not a real doctor). Kamela isn’t that easy. She fights back. I’m certain she actually thinks that she is something more than just a cardboard standup when a VP is required.

Combine that with an administrator who is well known for her toxic personality and management style going back decades and you have really hard job.

“has a job that only requires her to represent her skin color (sorry, but true)”

This is common across all segments of employment today.

Neither Harris nor Joe were elected.

While I agree she’s horribly toxic, it shouldn’t be entirely discounted that done of these folks leaving are campaign managers and we’re heading towards campaign season. The mass Exodus might also be viewed as a redeployment of forces.

I guess this is what can happen when the sole criteria for choosing a running mate are gender and skin color.

    – And willingness to give blowjobs to homely old men. Let’s be frank here.

Damn, Fine, how does that language about Kamala promote this website.

      It only subtracts.

I applied “silly f**ks” a few days ago. I read my comment yesterday. It was just ugly.

That’s no good. It just is not. And it contributed nothing. Similarly, my earlier remarks about Stacey Abrams, I should have kept those in my pocket.

We’ve enough facts describing murder and blood and excrement and gore, notations noted well and gory even in the abstract.

Our hosts don’t use such language. ProfessorJacobson, the ladies, the self-defense guy.

In a real sense, We are their guests, putting our pins here temporarily, accommodated by their hospitality.

I’ve abused my own language standard here. I shouldn’t have.

They needed Harris just like they needed Biden. You dare not get rid of Obama because you would get Biden and now you get rid of Biden you get Harris.

The CCP will not allow Biden to get discarded because they own him lock, stock and barrel. Harris maybe not so much.

This office staff “controversy” is a tempest in a teapot. Seriously, does anybody think she will resign because she is a lousy boss? Imagine the stresses and office politics of working for senile old Joe.

All she has to do is stay in office until Biden gets to ill to continue, or perhaps even dies in office, of which, to my eye, there is a good chance. If that happens, she is automatically president, and the first woman president to boot, cementing her place in history. I don’t see that as an opportunity she would give up lightly, or without some extraordinary incentives to make up for it.

If I were her, I would bide my time, keep a low profile, maintain distance from controversy, viciously counterattack anybody, even prominent Democrats, who mount any serious attempt to get her removed from office, then simply wait to see what happens. At the moment, I don’t see that the Democrats or Republicans have a lot of ways to stop that from happening.

The thing is, I don’t think that she possesses the mental stability to maintain a low profile. She is a scorpion in human form, and like a scorpion, it is just in their nature. If someone knew how to separate the cray-cray from a hot woman, that person would be a billionaire. But since the two are strongly linked, one is always in the battle between upside and downside. That being said, I have yet to figure out an upside to Hillarity.

“the first woman president to boot, cementing her place in history.”
Creating a permanent cultural paradox: the women who should most be ashamed of that landmark are precisely the women who won’t be… and vice versa.

There is no mechanism to remove Kamala Harris from office other than impeachment, death, resignation, or succession to the Presidency. She ain’t goin’ anywhere until Joey Demento dies, and then she is Persident.

IMO all this talk about Harris is mostly media “click bait”. Being as bad as she is just makes her Biden’s political insurance policy even more. She is worse than him and more dangerous as she might actually try to do something if President. At least Biden appears to be unable to do more damage than read a teleprompter poorly from time to time.

At least Biden appears to be unable to do more damage than read a teleprompter poorly from time to time”… it’s not his reading… it’s his writing that does the damage … as in his signature oon EOs and dangerous bills passed by Dems. Sure he doesn’t know what he is signing but he is the best demented rubber stamp in the Oval Office.

      She’s desperate. She’ll sign anything.

The funny thing about this lazy slug, is that if she wasn’t so lazy, she’d be able to fake it.

But she doesn’t have the media diaper that Obama did.

There’s the distinct possibility that no one else of any progressive renown wanted to be Joe’s penciled in checkbox for the ticket but that’s all Harris is good for so her camp was willing to do it.

30 brazzillion people in 15 time zones and three planets voted for Kamala Harris. Clearly she is desirable and competent by definition. Her tenure is a stunning victory, in the Afghan sense.

I knew somebody who survived a toxic work environment with a button: the off button on his cell phone.

Put in your time at the office being productive, then when it is time to leave (and working long hours), turn off the phone and head home. Turn it back on about ten minutes before walking in the door in the morning. Not a very Japanese approach, but it is the carpenter approach: You can only hammer one nail at a time. Killing yourself with stress can only be accomplished if you let yourself be killed. Pick up the nail, hammer it until it is all the way done, then pick up the next nail. Trying to deal with all the nails at once only gets you stressed, and no nails get hammered.

Clearly Comma-La is out of her element.

She slept her way to the top in California thanks to Willie Brown, and she was Brandon’s Affirmative Action – Diversity pick for Veep. The Dem’s are probably wishing they had made their own pick at the convention for Brandon’s running mate.

What does KH need staff for anyway? Her sole constitutional duties are breaking Senate ties and waiting for Joey Demento to die. That’s it.!!! If all her staff quits nothing will change. Chucko Schmucko will call her personally when she needs to come in and break a tie.

What Kamala really needs is trained assassins from the CIA to be detailed to her. She needs someone to help her get rid of Joey Demento, because she isn’t competent enough to do it herself.

Other accounts that I’ve read state that crone-harlot, Harris, is too lazy to even bother reading the reports that her staffers prep for her. Then, she berates and gets angry at the staffers, when she’s caught unprepared, in public appearances.

What an utterly miserable and useless harridan and scold. She craves power and prestige, but, is unwilling to put in the sweat equity and legwork required.

Real American | December 8, 2021 at 5:52 pm

she’s lazy and stupid. doesn’t read her briefing books and then gets slammed for her galling ignorance. she blames sexism and racism, but she’s just an ambitious dolt who slept her way to prominence and has finally hit a ceiling.

Just another one of Joe Biden’s terrible decisions.

“Out of all the mistakes Biden has made, picking Harris as his running mate was one of the worst.”

Biden did not make that mistake. I don’t know who did, but it wasn’t dopey joe biden.
