Biden Admin Will Restrict Travel From Seven African Countries Due to New COVID Variant
I guess the left and the MSM will label Biden a racist the way they labeled Trump a racist when he took similar action.
Remember when the left and MSM labeled former President Donald Trump a racist when he banned travel from seven or eight mostly Muslim countries? They called it the “Muslim Ban.”
Then they labeled Trump a racist when he banned travel from China and a few other places because of COVID.
Biden blasted Trump in February 2020 when Trump expanded the travel ban to Africa. Biden said the “African Ban” happened because Trump wanted to make it harder for black and brown people to immigrate here.
I guess Biden is a racist because he will ban travel from seven African countries over the new COVID variant called Omicron:
Starting on Monday, the administration will prohibit travelers from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi from coming to the United States, the officials said.
The travel ban will not apply to American citizens or lawful permanent residents, officials said. But they will need to show a negative coronavirus test before coming to the United States.
The administration made the decision after health officials in the United States consulted with South African scientists on Friday morning, and after the World Health Organization said the new variant was “of concern” and labeled it Omicron.
Biden administration officials said they were continuing to work with health officials overseas to learn more about the variant.

I recently flew back to the USA. The Border Patrol agent told me I had to have my picture taken for bio-metric verification of my identity.
I OBJECTED ON PRINCIPAL. I told the agent that this administration let’s hundreds of thousands of people in without checking their identity. WHY should I as a citizen be treated worse than an illegal border crosser ? The took me to a supervisor who tried to say – with a straight-face – the people do not come across the southern border with no ID verification. After wasting 45 minutes of my time – the agent that walked me back to the exist told me he agrees with me but cannot say it or he will lose his job.
