House Democrats Block Bill That Would Require COVID Testing for Illegal Immigrants

Iowa Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks introduced a bill this week requiring COVID testing of illegal immigrants at the border before they can cross. They shouldn’t be let in anyway, but if they are, doesn’t it make sense to test them?
Democrats don’t think so. They blocked the bill.

On Wednesday afternoon Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) attempted to bring her REACT Act — which would require a negative Wuhan coronavirus test for any illegal immigrant before they are released from custody — to the House floor for consideration, but 217 Democrats voted to block consideration of the proposal.
“Today, I offered my REACT Act on the House floor, which would require DHS to give a COVID test to everyone crossing our border illegally,” Miller-Meeks Tweeted. “The majority chose to block this commonsense bill that would ensure the health and safety of border patrol and border communities.”
Speaking on the House floor about her bill, Miller-Meeks noted “I have traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border twice this year. On both trips, I spoke with the brave men and women serving in Customs and Border Protection and also the physicians that are stationed there. I saw firsthand the crisis they are facing. I believe that it is our congressional responsibility to address this and support our officers,” she added.

American citizens are losing their jobs over vaccine mandates and cities like New York are requiring proof of vaccine to enter restaurants and bars. Yet people who are not vaccinated are being allowed to cross our southern border?
This is one of the reasons the Biden administration is struggling with vaccine messaging. We cannot have a different set of rules for citizens and people illegally crossing our border.
And speaking of the border, do you know who is reportedly going to be required to be vaccinated? The Border Patrol.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have been put on official notice by the Biden administration that they must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Nov. 1 or face being fired, according to a whistleblower who sounded the alarm to House Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.
“The people who have been busting their tails, enforcing our law, doing their job on the border – they’re gonna get fired if they don’t take the vaccine,” Jordan told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.
Jordan pointed out that migrants entering the U.S. illegally are given the choice as to whether or not to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, saying of the double standard, “That is how ridiculous the Biden administration has become.”
This double standard can’t go on for much longer. Something is going to break.

If the Democrats don’t want them tested (not only for CoVid but for measles, mumps, TB, syphillis, other venereal diseases, scabies, etc, then dump them out in the blue states (not purple, not light blue–dump them all in the dark blue states, including Hawaii). If they want the illegals in and don’t want them tested or vaxxed, then they get to keep them. Oh, and don’t forget to put a large contingent in DC and it’s burbs complete with tents, cook stoves, etc. With the fencing available for the Capitol, that would be a great place to harbor the worst of the worst!
Yes, no diversity bigotry. If not equal, equitable, and inclusive treatment of immigration, then equal, equitable, and inclusive treatment of external perturbations to community health and safety. Ideally, emigration reform to mitigate progress and collateral damage at both ends of the bridge and throughout.

If I can declare myself another gender, can I likewise declare myself illegal, and avoid the vaccine mandate?

This should tell you all you need to know about how concerned the elites and ruling class really are about Covid.
That is, if the mask and lockdown exemption for BLM ‘mostly peaceful’ protests last summer didn’t already.
My daughter is a student at SUNY Potsdam. She is vaccinated and follows the mask mandates. Earlier this week another student, who is presumably also vaccinated and masked, tested positive. So even though my daughter has had a negative rapid test as well as a negative PCR test, she is stuck in solitary confinement type quarantine until next Thursday because she has a stuffy nose, which is obviously Covid and can’t have anything to do with the change in the seasons.
So my kid, a citizen, has to follow all the damn rules, and is still imprisoned for a week when she isn’t sick, but they don’t care about thousands of illegals bringing in G-d-knows-what? I’d say that is all the proof we need that this has nothing to do with public health and everything to do with political control.
At this point, I think that American citizens should ask every single Dhimmi-crat apparatchik — “How do us citizens receive the privileges, respect, attention, deference and concern that you Dhimmi-crats pay to illegal aliens?”
So to be clear then, by declining to test those who cross our borders and then dispersing them throughout the interior where these folks potentially spread Covid among other things and by granting exemptions from vax mandate to various interest groups/constituencies, the Biden administration seems to demonstrating that Covid is no longer a public health emergency. Which in turn means there is no rational or scientific basis to sustain the expanding regime of masks, compelled vax and lockdown.

Nor will they be testing for or checking illegal aliens for measles, Chicken Pox, West Nile, TB, Yellow Fever, Malaria, Bubonic Plague, Dengue Fever , Cholera, Zika and a host of other infectious diseases endemic in most third-world countries.
But don’t worry, what could possibly go wrong as the Biden regime transports these illegals to unsuspecting states. 😡
