Biden Admin Still Pushing Whip Lie To Distract From Their Open Border Strategy And Policy Failures

The claim that border patrol agents on horses whipped Haitian migrants illegally crossing the border spread like wildfire, pushed by the media and Democrats. But it was a lie, not just disputed, an outright hoax.
On top of all the other evidence, the photographer who snapped the now-viral photo confirmed there was no whipping:
The photographer behind now-famous images depicting Border Patrol agents on horseback appearing to chase migrants with whips says things are not exactly what they seem when it comes to his photos.
The photographs, which were taken Sunday, appear to show agents on horses with whips in hand. The photos caused outrage, as they appear to show Border Patrol agents whipping migrants from certain angles. But photographer Paul Ratje said he and his colleagues never saw agents whipping anyone.
“Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses,” Ratje said.
Ratje is a photographer based in Las Cruces and has been in Del Rio since Friday. He said he took the photographs from the Mexican side.
“I’ve never seen them whip anyone,” Ratje said. “He was swinging it … but it can be misconstrued when you’re looking at the picture.”
Not only were whips not used, the reason horses were used is because that’s how border patrol patrols in terrain that is rough. Horses were not even used in an agressive manner, there’s no indication anyone was injured.
The whip lie should have died within hours, but it’s still going on, and its being spread by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the head of DHS, Alejandro Mayorkas, all of whom explicitly or implicitly compared it to slavery.

After listening to Biden, Harris and Mayorkas prejudge the outcome of any investigation through their rhetoric there is no way on earth those agents can get a fair investigation. Those officers and all of the officers in that area would be better off resigning and getting hired by the State of Texas.
It’s a sad day when the government puts illegal border jumpers above agents of the government, then again after the debacle in Afghanistan it might be the normal behavior from Biden and his underlings.

The Agents are guilty by definition. They are declared guilty. The “investigation” is a process to build a false narrative to support the lie. This is what totalitarians do. We are behind enemy lines. The old order is gone.

The tactic/scam of applying for asylum en masse, is encouraged and supported by NGOs, began with the ‘caravans’ under Trump — within the existing framework of asylum law/practice, the only way to prevent these bogus asylum claims at the southern border is for the US to sign what’s known as a ‘safe third country’ agreement with Mexico, which would allow the US to turn asylum-seekers away, telling them to apply in Mexico.
The US already has a ‘safe third country’ treaty with Canada, but not with Mexico.
Pressuring Mexico to sign such an agreement would not be difficult; the US has the means, e.g. trade sanctions, a 50% tax on remittances, etc.
The Biden admin would find it politically very difficult to repudiate such an obviously useful, existing treaty.
You apparently don’t realize that we don’t have to accept any person seeking asylum who didn’t come directly from a Nation with conditions that actually would qualify them as legit refugee; even under ‘international’ law.
Almost all of these Haitians were residing in S America then traveled North to the US. Every single one could be deported under existing US law. This isn’t DJT issue, this is an example of the Biden admin open border ideological policy preferences at work.
The entire concept of immigration into this country needs a total dismantle and a new system needs to replace it. This country currently has a backlog of 10’s of millions of people who have no real status and it can often take decades to determine a long term status.
We have concepts like temporary protected status with no definition as to what temporary is. We have people from Haiti, who we allowed to enter over a decade ago still here under that program with no course of a final outcome.
This country has always been one of the most if not the most welcoming country in the world for legal migration, our colleges and universities are full of foreign students. We need to take a long hard look as to why so many are coming here, is it birthright citizenship, is it our government benefits and private and public benefits, our healthcare system?
We already have issues in many areas with low cost housing, public education, healthcare. These problems aren’t going away anytime soon with the constant influx of people that are breaking an already stressed system.
