COVID response coordinator Jeff Zients announced the administration will lift the travel ban on fully vaccinated travelers in November.
The ban started in March 2020.

Foreign travelers who provide proof that they are fully vaccinated before boarding a flight will be able to fly to the United States starting in “early November,” Jeff Zients, the White House pandemic coordinator, said Monday.
“International travel is critical to connecting families and friends, to fueling small and large businesses, to promoting the open exchange ideas and culture,” Mr. Zients said. “That’s why, with science and public health as our guide, we have developed a new international air travel system that both enhances the safety of Americans here at home and enhances the safety of international air travel.”
The administration has restricted travel for foreigners looking to fly to the United States from a group of European countries, Iran and China for more than a year. Fully vaccinated travelers will also need to show proof of a negative test for the coronavirus within three days before coming to the United States, Mr. Zients said.
Zients said unvaccinated Americans returning to the states have stricter requirements:
They will need to test negative for the coronavirus one day before traveling to the United States and will need to be tested again after arriving, Mr. Zients said. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will also soon issue an order directing airlines to collect phone numbers and email addresses of travelers for a new contact-tracing system. Authorities will then follow up with the travelers after arrival to ask whether they are experiencing symptoms of the virus.
British Prime Minister Bors Johnson visits Biden on Tuesday. He will likely celebrate the news.
The United Kingdom and European Union wanted Biden to lift the restriction a lot sooner. Officials became disappointed when Biden did not announce a lift during the G7 conference in June.

British officials note that the United States had not imposed a similar ban on people from Caribbean nations, which had a higher rate of infection than Britain, or from Argentina, which had lower percentage of its population vaccinated. About 82 percent of people in Britain above the age of 16 have had two shots.
The European Union and Britain both allowed fully vaccinated people from the United States to travel without quarantining and officials there were annoyed when the United States did not reciprocate.
EU Home Commissioner Ylva Johansson said the administration never gave her an explanation.

They were dragging their feet because the second a ‘fully vaccinated’ person spreads COVID after landing the gig is up.
More and more people are realizing that the fauxcine doesn’t do a goddamn thing to stop you from getting the virus. It MIGHT give you a milder case.

That’s the answer. A vaxed person ID as patient zero via contact tracing is going to get headlines. It already happens domestically but add in the news/clicks/revenue potential of the ‘international traveler from country X brings new Covid strain to USA’ story and it becomes noticeable to the general audience.
Then the questions begin. Which vax did they have? How long ago? How does that vax compare to the one I got? Why not require a negative test pre travel for everyone?

The numbers clearly bear out in the new cases that there is a huge disproportional increase in cases among the unvaccinated right now with many, many fewer in the vaccinated population.
Vaccinated case counts are even an order of magnitude below the efficacy threshold that Pfizer and Moderna reported in their releases.
Are the vaccinated case counts underreported? Probably, but that is very strong evidence for how effective the vaccine has been at mitigating the symptoms of a positive, vaccinated case.
And no, I’m not for a vaccine mandate…that doesn’t mean you should be a complete idiot and ignore the data right in front of you!
I’ve heard that, in San Diego County, this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, which leads me to wonder about the way those cases are counted. How did San Diego turn into such an outlier?
Well, first of all, by reporting as “unvaccinated” everyone since the inception of the pandemic, plus those who only had one shot, plus those who fell ill within two weeks of a shot (that is, vaccine injuries included) a number that obscures the effects of the vaccines.
Where more relevant numbers are reported, things look a bit different.

Perhaps you should take a closer look at the numbers you’re looking at. The data-set they’re using to come to those conclusion began in JANUARY when practically nobody was vaccinated and ended in JULY before it became obvious that the so-called vaccines effectiveness wanes.
Case counts are irrelevant. They are not evidence of disease.
The “plandemic” was the tool used to scare off the black vote.
Trump had huge support in the AA community and the left knows black people are scared stiff of illness. People should hang for this, and CNN should be forced to televise it.
Virologist Dr. Christina Parks testified the vax is only good for the original if even that. It has no effect on any other variants.
Good, but not great, for personal protection (e.g. symptom suppression), excessive adverse events (e.g. death), and there is evidence from Britain, Israel, and America, that the vaccines are non-sterilizing (“leaky”) and permit the virus a safe sanctuary and transmission from vaccinated people… persons.
Not even true….she testifed that the vaccine does not prevent transmission of any variants. That doesn’t mean it is ‘no good’ for other variants.
That’s also a bit of a misstatement as it reduces community transmission, even if it won’t halt transmission 100% of the time for any one person that tests positive. Even if it only reduced severity of cases, this would still be a worthwhile tool for reducing transmission.

Our top government health honcho has said one thing one month, then the opposite the next month, then actually rinsed and repeated. So the science changes.. nay, the science actively flip-flops.
This spokesperson turns out to be the very person who funded the creation of this shitshow in the first place, which (in consistent form) he says he did not, despite documentary evidence. Scientia es veritas, but when truth itself is nondeterministic, what help is that to us?
The CDC makes promise after promise to the American people of the form, “If you do this new thing, we will relax this restriction,” which they then unilaterally break (like a medical Mazzoli-Simpson pact) once the people have done what they wanted. So every time we “follow the science,” the science leads us into an ambush.
Articles in “top-ranked, peer-reviewed” journals like the Lancet and JAMA that parrot administration disdain for alternate treatments have been pulled as faulty after the span of a month or two, explained away only with a “never mind.” So there is no truth in science, and there is no science in truth.
Some of these alternate (and orders of magnitude less expensive) treatments have achieved case reductions in poorer countries that beggar and humiliate the results of countries (e.g., India) banking on their extravagantly costly, high-tech neo-placebos. So today’s “science” involves not just ignoring but actively suppressing discussion of blatantly obvious evidence opposing the narrative, and not just distracting but actively censoring others who notice it.
Here’s the last piece of science to follow: you don’t need Admiral Ackbar to tell you that when all the cheese is inside the cage, and none of the cheese is outside the cage, somebody wants you in the cage.

The “vaccines” offer some personal protection, but they are non-sterilizing, and treated individuals actually increase risk to the community, because their symptoms are suppressed and people cannot react to visible evidence of disease. That is in addition to the excess adverse events (e.g. progressive viability, inflammation) recorded in association with the treatments. Most people have either preexisting or naturally acquired immunity to the virus, and likely its mutations, and the “vaccines” do not reduce risk of death, injury, hospitalization, or transmission in the general population. So, evaluate the risk and benefits and proceed accordingly. This “pandemic” is endemic and a focused response is critical to limit excess deaths and mitigate collateral damage.
Don’t get your hopes up.
