Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth II Statues Torn Down in Canada
The police stood by and did nothing as people vandalized and tore down the statues. They arrested a man afterward who had nothing to do with it.
People tore down statues of Queen Victoria and Her Majesty The Queen in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Protesters are angry about “the discovery of the remains of hundreds of children at former indigenous schools.” It took place on Canada Day, which is usually a day of pride.
They chanted, “No pride in genocide.”
The crowd cheered as people vandalized and toppled the Queen Victoria statue on legislative grounds in Winnipeg. They beheaded the statue and threw the head in the Assiniboine River.
Her Majesty had a smaller statue that stood near Queen Victoria’s statue.
Her Majesty is Canada’s head of state. Queen Victoria reigned during a time when Canada belonged to the British Empire.

Winnipeg Police Chief Danny Smyth confirmed they started an investigation:
“I’m disappointed. I know the intent of all the organizers involved was to have a peaceful demonstration, a show of solidarity … for the lost children of the residential schools. I don’t think anyone expected that to occur,” he said in a news conference on Friday.
The walk on Canada Day was held to protest the country’s treatment of Indigenous people under the colonial system — and in particular the system that forced children to leave their families and attend residential schools, where abuse was common and many died.
Police didn’t intervene when the statues were being toppled by a small group of people so as not to incite the crowd, Smyth said.
“Whenever you have a gathering crowd of more than a thousand people, it’s a delicate situation … it’s a judgment call based on what’s happening. There was no violence going on against other people,” he said.
“It’s a judgment call I support.”
Police will use security footage to investigate those who were involved as well as the small number of people who spat on officers and threw rocks and paint at police vehicles, Smyth said.
Police arrested one man. However, they do not believe he had anything to do with tearing down the statues. They charged him with “mischief for allegedly damaging a vehicle in the area and assaulting a police officer.”

When history isn’t taught and these low IQ types have no clue the best thing is to remove ALL statues.
I respectfully disagree. Removing all statues just accomplishes that goal for the low IQ unwashed and then they are fast onto the next goal in the destruction of Western culture and society. There is only one.course that I can see and that is forcible re-education of the mob.

Also, churches, particularly Catholic ones, are being vandalized and/or set on fire across the country on a near-daily basis.
There has been little to action to put a stop to any of this, and government officials are rather silent, so all of this will likely continue for the foreseeable future.
Sounds as though they see a similar reaction to the destruction in our Pacific northwest by like-minded idiots.

As the resident Canadian commentator, I want to address this. It is 100% a lie. No bodies or graves have been found anywhere.
What has happened is one band hired a ground-penetrating radar expert to perform a preliminary survey. If you’re not familiar with GPR, it absolutely does not have the resolution necessary to determine anything beyond “the ground isn’t smooth and homogeneous below this spot.” Could be a rock, a badger burrow, or possibly an unmarked grave; no way to tell without an excavation. What the bands have found is nothing more than n squiggles on a GPR screen, where n is whatever number they can make up that’s bigger than the last band. The first band got away with the outrageous lie that every squiggle was a body in an unmarked grave, and since they got away with it every other band is pulling the same stunt.
Absolutely no excavations have been performed at all, at any residential school. The claims that every -or any – squiggle is an unmarked grave are completely unsubstantiated.
