U. North Carolina at Wilmington Prof Posts ‘Blow Up Republicans’ on Facebook

“The university was made aware of the post and has appropriately addressed it.”

This is why taxpayers should not be expected to make college ‘free’ with their tax dollars. Half of America is not even welcome on college campuses.

The Federalist reports:

North Carolina Professor Calls For Violence: ‘Blow Up Republicans’

A professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington posted on his Facebook page the phrase, “Blow Up Republicans.”

The post has since been deleted. Dan Johnson, who is a professor in the school of health and applied human sciences, published it on May 17. Campus Reform first reported on the call for violence.

A spokeswoman for the university told Campus Reform, “The university was made aware of the post and has appropriately addressed it.” However, it is unclear what precise repercussions the professor faces for insinuating Republicans should be murdered. The school also confirmed Johnson will be teaching in the fall.

“Putting away any personal political preference aside, I think this matter should be addressed and dealt in the same manner that it would be if the word ‘Republican’ was replaced with any other word,” Haylie Davis, a student of Johnson’s said.

Has Facebook banned him? Are the police investigating this terroristic threat? Are the Regents considering terminating him? Oh, I forgot. Those things would only happen if he were a Republican. Threatening Republicans is okay if you’re a Leftist, isn’t it?

So I’d say that he got a slap on the wrist and told if he was going to incite people to commit violent acts against Republicans/Conservatives at least do it using an anonymous Facebook account that can’t be tracked back to the university and university administration.
