VIDEO: “Pro-Palestinian” Gang Seeks Out And Attacks Jews In Los Angeles

A trend spreading in many cities in the U.S. and Europe

As the sacred Jewish holiday of Shavuot came to a close early this week, shocking footage surfaced on social media of what appears to be an anti-Israel gang’s vicious attack on Jews having dinner outdoors in Los Angeles.

Israel’s fight against Hamas has again reached American shores. While cities all over Europe continue to report alarming spikes in physical attacks against Jews —citizen broadcasts via the Twitterverse show the same sort of assaults happening here.

CBSN Los Angeles reports,

Authorities are investigating whether an attack on diners that occurred outside a Beverly Grove restaurant late Tuesday night was a Jewish hate crime.

The brawl occurred a little before 10 p.m. outside Sushi Fumi in the 300 block of North La Cienega Boulevard.

Witnesses said a mob of pro-Palestinians attacked a group of Jewish men who were dining at the restaurant. Cell phone video showed a group of men get out of the car and start to attack them while yelling racial slurs.

One of the diners, who is not Jewish, told CBSLA a caravan waving pro-Palestinian flags approached and then began throwing bottles at him and the group he was dining with. The man said he is a photographer and the group was meeting at the restaurant to plan a wedding.

The man said he was physically attacked when he tried to defend the group. He said the men used anti-Jewish profanity. He said he was pepper sprayed during the attack and had to go to the hospital.

The Jewish victims of the attack are reportedly members of the robust Persian-Jewish community that calls Los Angeles home; witnesses say the attackers targeted them as they paraded through the heavily Jewish area (on foot and in cars), moving from group to group asking who was Jewish. Some clips show the caravan of anti-Israel protesters driving through the neighborhood screaming into megaphones at Jewish passersby.

The assault itself was captured from multiple angles.

As police arrived on the scene, one witness described the entire sequence for his live streamed audience:

We’re here outside Sushi Fumi in West Hollywood. A group of Palestinians—about 30 of them—jumped out of a car and asked who was Jewish. Two guys said they were, and they proceeded to beat them up. A couple people stepped in, even a Christian Arab jumped out to help the guy in the grey shirt right here. They’re apparently going around the city, and asking who’s Jewish, and beating them up. [Sighs heavily]

This is America, guys. Things are not looking good.

Though the LAPD stated that it’s investigating the incident as a “possible” anti-Jewish hate-crime, the motive for the attack seems abundantly clear. Some footage of the assault shows attackers wearing keffiyehs wrapped around their heads in the style favored by mujahideen (jihadis), while other clips captured members of the caravan waving huge Palestinian flags. And it doesn’t seem to be a coincidence that there had been a large anti-Israel protest in the area that same day.

The previous day, Monday May 17, another group of Los Angeles agitators’ used social media to document its own attack on Zionists. One of them posted video (watermarked with his Instagram account name) of their own chase, in a car, of a lone clearly Jewish pedestrian; the video brags that “[they] went after” a Zionist they claimed had “flipped [them] off for supporting Palestine”.  The caption on the video (complete with a Palestine flag emoji, a middle finger emoji, and laughing emojis) reads,

YALL SOME BIG ASS PUSSYS [sic] BITCHES

YOU CAN RUN BUT CAN’T HIDE

But the man’s interview with Fox News tells an entirely different story:

Chilling surveillance footage obtained by Fox News shows the moment a Jewish man in Los Angeles was chased by two cars bearing Palestinian flags near his home earlier this week as they chanted “Allahu akbar” in an apparent attempt to run him over.

The man, who asked to remain anonymous, told Fox News he was walking from his home to synagogue on Monday night during the Jewish holiday of Shavuot when he noticed a car speeding toward him.

“I’ve taken this route a million times and I’ve never been afraid,” he said. “I was waiting by the light for it to change and suddenly I saw a bunch of cars coming and I see out of the corner of my eye they were waving the Palestinian flag. They started speeding up and I heard them chanting ‘Allahu akbar.’ That’s when I started running for my life.”

Surveillance footage recorded from a nearby synagogue shows the man running into a Bank of America parking lot. He is being chased by two speeding cars with several Palestinian flags displayed.

“I ran as fast as I could,” he said. “They were picking up speed and I really thought they were going to run me over, that it would all be over.”

American Jewish groups such as the Israeli American Council, have issued strong condemnations of the L.A. attacks.

But while such statements are crucial tools to raise awareness and show the Jewish community’s continued strength, they won’t help protect Jews at the moment of other physical attacks. It’s time that Jews proactively procure the tools and knowledge necessary to physically defend ourselves from violent Jew-hate—even in America.

Hey hey hey, Jewish Angelenos, how do you like all that gun control you voted for now?

SAME IN NYC

Yesterday afternoon, demonstrators in front of the Israeli consulate on 42nd Street and 2nd Avenue marched up Second Avenue to the East Side Synagogue on 52nd Street.

They yelled and assaulted anyone that voiced opposition.

This will get worse. Hamas is losing. In fact, it is a debacle of their own making. It seems that 10,000+ Hamas fighters likely perished in the tunnels. They are poorly let – both militarily and politically.

As they lose in-country, they seek to spread their propaganda. Watch them use the loss to expand their claim to victimhood (although they actually started this round of armed conflict).

Yes, the problem is their leadership, who lost in Israel, lost in Jorddan, and have been in progress to lose their war to abort the Jew “burden” for nearly a century.

Transnational terrorism.

They were white diversitists, and it never happened. Antijew is a myth.

If Jewish people would stop voting for Democrats, that would be a start.

Never happen. Narcissists never change. When ‘democrat’ Jews are on the BLM/Antifa/FBI gallows, their last words will be something to the effect: “We’ll make it work next time, for sure.”

It’s not narcissism, it’s a deep conviction that Republicans are white supremacists, and either (1) therefore antisemites, or (2) just as bad as antisemites. The emergence of an antisemitic wing in the Dems may scare and dismay some of them, but it won’t make them switch parties because they’re still convinced it’s much worse on the GOP side, and because they can excuse it by blaming Israel and/or “systemic racism”. They’re impervious to factual evidence; the existence of a powerful antisemitic wing in the GOP is an article of faith and needs no evidence.

It helps that their standard for antisemitism includes anyone who believes that Christianity is the Truth™, which necessarily means Judaism is not. Since they can’t wrap their mind around the concept that any religion can actually be the Truth, they consider anyone who does believe that, of Christianity, Islam, or Judaism, to be a dangerous “fundamentalist”. And in the first case to be an antisemite as well. They can’t call believing Jews antisemites, but see them as just as bad.

Thank goodness our immigration system and public schools continue to teach basic, traditional civics and do the hard work of assimilating immigrants and school children into our colorblind society where individual merit is …..oh….yeah …my bad.

We’re witnessing the rotten and evil fruits of the vile Dhimmi-crats’ decades-long parroting of Muslims terrorist propaganda and contrived victimhood mythology, and, psychotic and unhinged anti-Israel vilification. This is what happens when a group is repeatedly and ceaselessly demonized.

Ugly stuff, indeed, and, I fear there is only more of this behavior, to come. This is all on the evil Dhimmi-crats.

I’m still waiting for the antimatter singularity to occur when the Radical Islam faction of the Democrats’ big tent encounters the LGBTQ+ faction. We can’t hurry this up enough.

Here or there or somewhere else—they are all the same. Bring them here and you do is move the violence from one place to another. So what’s the news?

“A group of Palestinians—about 30 of them—jumped out of a car and asked who was Jewish.”

This is why people need high capacity magazines.

LukeHandCool | May 19, 2021 at 5:36 pm

I’m an employee of LAPD, and I can tell you LAPD takes anti-Semitic crimes and incidents very seriously.

Until now, every anti-Semitic hate crime and hate incident report I’ve dealt with where a perpetrator was seen has had an African American perpetrator(s).

It look like Palestinians and their sympathizers are getting in on the act.

What the media will want to know:

Did the Jewish diners use any disproportionate force in defending themselves?

Brave Sir Robbin in reply to LukeHandCool. | May 19, 2021 at 5:43 pm

“Did the Jewish diners use any disproportionate force in defending themselves”

Disproportionate force like doing anything other than allowing themselves to be beaten up?

JusticeDelivered in reply to LukeHandCool. | May 19, 2021 at 6:34 pm

The point of defending oneself should always disproportionate, That discourage future bad conduct, especially if the perp is dead.

The Friendly Grizzly | May 19, 2021 at 6:57 pm

I note this is going on in NYC, Los Angeles, and other Democrat strongholds with strict laws on gun ownership and carry.

Will we see these events in places like Dallas or Nashville or Houston? I doubt it.

TheOldZombie in reply to The Friendly Grizzly. | May 20, 2021 at 12:34 am

Exactly my thought. This is only happening in states where carrying a gun is next to impossible legally.

In my home state of Florida we have a large population of those of the Jewish faith. We don’t however have a problem of people attacking them. Why? Because in Florida you never know whose carrying and whose not.

Milhouse in reply to TheOldZombie. | May 20, 2021 at 4:36 am

Actually I just saw a report of the same thing happening in Florida. Yes, a bystander pulled out a gun and stopped it, which is very good. But it did happen.

henrybowman in reply to Milhouse. | May 20, 2021 at 7:26 am

He said the people in Florida are more armed, not that their troublemakers are any less stupid.

Just this February, a felon ambled into a gun safety class at a Vegas range, and tried to make off with one of the guns. Caught rifling a student’s bag, he argued his way out to the parking lot, then took out a screwdriver and starting stabbing a policewoman in the neck. One cop and three gun shop employees immediately lit him up and put him down with 14 holes in him. Saved Kamala Harris’s bail fund a nice chunk of change. (There were the usual cries of outrage from BLM. Fuck ’em.)

And then, of course, there were the two jihadis who attacked the “Draw Muhammed” festival… in Texas. Those clowns were put down by an off-duty cop, and yet not at all by the FBI agents who shadowed them to the event and had explicitly urged them to shoot people.

JusticeDelivered | May 19, 2021 at 7:22 pm

Black crime is over 7 times greater than average, most of which is attributed to black males.

I do not care about race, I do care about people being honest, productive, responsible citizens. We need to really clamp down, we have riffraff making demands of society, society needs to be making demands, and enforcing them.

“We need to really clamp down…”

Who is ‘we’? The Justice Department under the psychopaths now running it?

We’re living in the Barr-Sessions apocolypse. And make no mistake: William Barr and Jeff sessions are the SOLE cause of where we are right now.

HImmanuelson | May 19, 2021 at 7:36 pm

The whole “pro-Palestinian’ thing is just another misnomer. ‘Pro-Palestinians’ are usually not ‘pro-Palestinian’ at all, they’re anti-Jewish.

Benjamin Netenyahu is more pro-Gaza than Hamas is because he cares more about the average Gazan citizen than Hamas does. Hamas WANTS its citizens to die as long as they can use the deaths for PR purposes.

These same ‘pro-Palestinians’ are completely silent when the Pals are being killed or victimized by other Arabs. It’s only when Jews are involved do they speak up.

We need someone to step into Irv Rubin’s shoes and organize armed patrols in the Fairfax District. In the 1980s, I was one of the watchmen patrolling and protecting our community.

I have lost touch with the organization, but I don’t think that Shelley and Ari Rubin are doing the job.

Many in the community never supported armed self-defense. That is one of our Jewish problems, condemnation of those of us who try to protect ourselves.

Anonymous Bosh | May 19, 2021 at 8:10 pm

What? You tryin’a tell me it don’ go both ways? What, like, you ain’t seen truckloads of Jews spread out and start punchin’ ppl screamin’ “Who’s the Philistine?!? Who’s the Philistine?!?” I’m sure it happens every day.

Subotai Bahadur | May 19, 2021 at 8:23 pm

Does anyone want to bet AGAINST the proposition that the FBI knew about who is doing this ahead of time AND that they did nothing. . . . deliberately?

Might it be time for Jews, and allies, to take a leaf out of the Imi Lichtenfeld and Theodore Roosevelt schools of thought?

Roosevelt said ‘speak softly and carry a big stick’ but it’s often changed to walk softly and carry a big stick.

Lichtenfeld is the father of Krav Maga, a system developed in response to the anti-Semitic riots of the 1930s, and the differences between ‘fighting sports’ and street fighting.

the media cannot be relied on anymore–the police, for whatever reasons, cannot (or will not)be proactive anymore, as in arresting and then aiding in the conviction and incarceration of these thugs–what recourse do innocent people have against this kind of persistent violence?–organize and deal with the problem but do it quietly–km is very effective but their are other actions/methods that can be employed quietly to eliminate these sort of thugs
