Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vs. CNN Reporter
Ends as expected
During a press conference, a CNN reporter attempted to paint Florida’s rollout of the COVID vaccine as a failure by badgering Governor DeSantis with a talking point masked as a question.
DesSantis pushed back and ultimately explained exactly why some locals experienced long waiting lines (that hospitals were tasked with administering the vaccination in the best way they saw fit) only for the reporter to clip her segment (always fun when the pretend journalist is the story instead of you know, the story being the story) with an intro whining about how she wasn’t even allowed to finish lecturing the Governor.

Wannabe journalists spend the last six months touting the impossibility of a vaccine, now want the impossible vaccine deployed in two weeks. Huh!?!

if desantis was smart he would preface is remarks with something to the extent that the reporter would not have ask questions he would answer the same questions posted to other governors like cuomo, newsome, and wolfe
FYI to folks from other parts of the country – DeSantis is a hot saw for 2024 and CNN and the rest of the media have been ginning up falsehoods about FL as the Typhoid Mary of states since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. Those of us who live here know better and can instantly spot the conspicuous attacks motivated by fear he will be an effective national candidate.
