Cornell University Offers ‘Person of Color’ Exemption From Flu Vaccine Requirement

Vaccine exemptions based on race? Really? How is this even legal?

Cornell offers ‘person of color’ exemption for flu vaccine requirement
Students at Cornell University can use their status as a “person of color” to be exempt from the university’s flu vaccine requirement.
“Students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or as a Person of Color (BIPOC) may have personal concerns about fulfilling the Compact requirements based on historical injustices and current events,” explains Cornell Health’s vaccine requirement FAQ.
Students can send a private message to Cornell Health in order to request a non-medical or non-religious exemption for the immunization. For more information, the FAQ links to a page “especially for students of color,” which is meant to help minority students concerned about the flu vaccine requirement.
“We recognize that, due to longstanding systemic racism and health inequities in this country, individuals from some marginalized communities may have concerns about needing to agree to such requirements,” explains the page. “For example, historically, the bodies of Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) have been mistreated, and used by people in power, sometimes for profit or medical gain.”

If the vaccine is effective and “people of color” have been hurt by the disease even more than the rest of the population (as has been reported in various “news” outlets), then this exemption is clearly a not-at-all-subtle racist attempt to eradicate minorities.
Really, when you think like a leftist, you can justify or condemn ANYTHING because common sense is not part of the equation.

I’ve wrestled with myself about this. What I finally settled on is this. Each nation has characteristics which are generally representative of the society at any particular age.
I use the Seven Deadly Sins: pride, envy, wrath, gluttony, lust, sloth, and greed. And, I use the Seven Cardinal Virtues: faith, hope, charity, fortitude, justice, temperance, prudence.
I ask which of these seem to be dominate and typify an age. It seems to me we moved from a time when the Seven Cardinal Virtues were more significant to a time when the Seven Deadly Sins are. This not to imply the former was devoid of sin and the latter is devoid of virtue. It’s just what seems to have been more prevalent.
“You black people can go ahead and die, we don’t really care about you.”
So white students have to get the vaccine whether they want it or not, but non-white students don’t have to get it if they don’t want to. Does anyone still think this has anything to do with public health and not just controlling people?
That isn’t what they’re saying. They’re saying that whites can’t refuse the vaccines and blacks can. Black of course can accept a vaccine if they want to.
They are signaling that they don’t really believe covid-19 is dangerous, or that they don’t believe the vaccines are safe and want whites to be the lab rats, or both.
So she’s trying to increase the death rate of Black people of from flu, Covid, and other respiratory illnesses.
How “racist” is this B.S.?
What is the benchmark to be a ‘Person of Color?’ Is a DNA test required? Appearances are not everything, if the benchmark is 51% of genes must show a ‘Black’ heritage, Obama would not have qualified beyond the 50%, Michelle would have passed the test but not Barack.
Where is the line? Is there a line? I can’t see it!
