LGBT Activists Want Biden to Crack Down on Accreditation Standards for Christian Universities
“Blueprint for Positive Change 2020”
Consider this a glimpse of the future. The left has been moving in this direction for a long time.
The College Fix reports:
LGBT activists urge Biden to crack down on accreditation standards for Christian universities
The Human Rights Campaign, a gay advocacy group, released a 24-page wish list for Joe Biden’s presidential administration, including reinterpreting a Department of Education regulation.
The “Blueprint for Positive Change 2020” asks the future Biden administration to issue clarification that changes the current understanding of an education law in relation to accreditation of universities.
The group said that the current interpretation of the Higher Education Opportunity Act “could be interpreted to require accrediting bodies to accredit religious institutions that discriminate or that do not meet science based curricula standards.”
It wants the Department of Education to “issue a regulation clarifying that this provision, which requires accreditation agencies to ‘respect the stated mission’ of religious institutions,” and make clear that it “does not require the accreditation of religious institutions that do not meet neutral accreditation standards including nondiscrimination policies and scientific curriculum requirements.”
This executive action would harm Christian universities, the president of one of these universities said.

I have trouble wrapping my mind around the idea of being an “activist” over something like sexual orientation. I am “G”, but would no more be an activist about it than I would be for the left-handed or the red-haired, of which, I am both.
Lefty here….we should start a spoof movement
Now, yes; but what about in the ’70s or earlier, when there really was widespread legal persecution of gay people?
It wasn’t “persecution”.
Then, what was it?
It was legal prohibition of acts that were considered immoral.
You can argue over whether they should be considered immoral, but that didn’t make it “persecution” by any stretch.
It was persecution through the legal system, which helps illustrate the difference between legality and propriety. IOW, just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s proper.
.
It’s going to be amusing to watch all of these “trans women” look down between their legs when they supposedly grow up and think “hmmm…maybe I made a mistake.” Tattoo removal although painless, can indeed be done. Shame you had to keep finding more transgressive ways to annoy your parents. We just let our hair grow and got our ears pierced and listened to heavy metal.

No. Your blueprint is to destroy the very moral fabric that constitutes Western Civilization, so you can enjoy your perversities without a conscience getting in the way.

What about improving everyone’s life?
What if my organization switched “transgender” to heterosexual or Christian or disabled, etc.. Where does it end?
