Biden Flees New Hampshire on Primary Day for South Carolina

“It’s a real disadvantage if you don’t come from one of the neighboring states. So I think it’s going to be hard to win this thing.”

Maybe 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful former Vice President Joe Biden sees the writing on the wall?

New Hampshire holds its primary today but Biden canceled his appearance at his primary night party to travel to South Carolina.

The national front runner landed in fourth place in Iowa. It looks like Biden will place in fourth or fifth in New Hampshire.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) won New Hampshire in 2016. He holds the lead in the UMass Lowell Center for Public Opinion poll taken last week with 25% of the support.

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is in second at 17% and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in third with 15%.

Biden is a scratch behind Warren with 14%.

From The Hill:

“I have enjoyed traveling across New Hampshire, speaking to countless Granite Staters who understand we are in a battle for the soul of this nation and I have relished fighting for each and every one of their votes,” Biden said in a statement.

“I am looking forward to traveling to South Carolina this evening and Nevada later this week to carry our campaign forward and hear from the diverse voters whose voices must be heard in this process to select the Democratic nominee who will unite this country to defeat Donald Trump,” he added.

Biden spoke to WCVB: “It’s a real disadvantage if you don’t come from one of the neighboring states. So I think it’s going to be hard to win this thing.”

He said to another reporter that his campaign remains “mildly hopeful here in New Hampshire.”

In November, Biden said he planned and needed to win New Hampshire:

“Let’s go knock on some doors because I plan on winning New Hampshire,” Biden said to a group of supporters on Nov. 9.

“New Hampshire and Iowa are important, and I plan on winning New Hampshire,” Biden said on Nov. 21. “I plan on winning in Iowa.”

“I plan on trying to win New Hampshire,” Biden said on Nov. 8. “I’m not trying to come in second.”

That attitude has changed because Biden says he still believes he will win the Democratic nomination.

But it is no secret that Biden’s campaign has internally favored Nevada and South Carolina due to the diverse population. A Washington Post-Ipsos poll in January showed Biden maintaining his lead among black voters with 48%. Sanders is in second place with only 28% of the respondents.

The Party faithful are faithful to the Party and Biden isn’t the Party like Obama was nor in earlier years, the Clintons. No energy. No sharply ironed creases in the trousers. He is running a slow motion Beto campaign of leveraging loss after loss. Hillary should take note.

That is the first mention of O’Rourke here in months. Talk about a nothing burger dropping off the planet. I wonder when the bimbo will dump him since her chance to be first lady went poof.

I wonder what Old Joe is gonna do when he finds out the black voters in SC don’t like him or his policies any more than the white voters in Iowa and NH. Who’s he gonna blame then? Ghostbusters?

Biden will get in their face and jokingly call them a “lying dog-faced pony soldier.” That will go over really well because it’s a line he’s used in the past on three or four white folks and they thought it was hilarious.

You can’t persuasively call yourself “Mr. Electable” after being completely irrelevant in two consecutive primaries.

Obama had to keep hiding him after he would make his spectacular gaffes, as the top of the ticket he can’t be kept hidden.
That is how irrelevant Biden was, not even good enough to provide some distraction for Obama.

Go home Joe. Put on your robe and slippers, pour some good bourbon, light a cigar and put your feet up in the recliner. It’s all over for you.

Oh, one more thing, lawyer up for the corruption hearings.

Too bad this barely coherent mental midget can’t see writing on the wall. He couldn’t recognize skywriting! He was NEVER a viable candidate for President, 1988 or ever. He was a marginal Vice President, Barry carried him, for reasons unknown.

Don’t go away mad, Joe, just go away. I hear some oligarchs in Ukraine need help.

“It’s a real disadvantage if you don’t come from one of the neighboring states. So I think it’s going to be hard to win this thing.”

Good one, Joe. How to explain that the Fairy from the Prairie will get more than Granny Warren who’s from MA?

I’m starting to wonder if the Democrat background players are trying to push Petey boy in lieu of Biden to avoid Sanders running away with the nomination. Just a thought I had.

Side note: Woo hoo!!!!!

Elizabeth Warren Stops By A Local Diner In NH… Nobody Cares…

Did he just slam the good folks of New Hampshire? He needs to go somewhere “and hear from the diverse voters”.
.
I don’t see Creepy Uncle Joe getting any diverse voters all that excited to go out in February and March to check the box for him like they did Obama and maybe Hillary. If he’s relying on diverse voters to carry him to the nomination, he’s delusional.
.
Somebody should stick a fork in Biden and take him off the grill. He’s done.

I was watching an old John Wayne western last night in which one of the dog-faced soldiers suggested Joe would be president. And John Wayne said, “That’ll be the day!”

Mayor Pete should put on some blackface and go campaign in SC. That seems to be OK for democrats. He can ask Ralph Northam and Joy Behar for advice on the appropriate shade to use.

“It’s a real disadvantage if you don’t come from one of the neighboring states.”

New Jersey is closer to South Carolina and Nevada than it is to New Hampshire?

Meanwhile Buttigieg has somehow managed to move Indiana nextdoor to New Hampshire…

Hear that flushing sound? It’s the support Biden had in the lead up to the impeachment coup effort going down the drain now that his usefulness is over.
A clue was Obama not endorsing his pick as VP. Imagine that, it speaks loudly that Biden wasn’t what he was being purported to be.
Remember, the whole Burisma scandal was reported over a year and a half ago. It was a shot across the bow. Either Biden is too dumb to see it, or he was told to stick around as part of the insurance backup.
Biden’s trouble is he might actually think he is still the frontrunner, still the choice to make. He never was.
I am positive the DNC wants to take out Bernie, but he is a tougher kneecapping. Biden does the heavy lifting for the DNC, Bernie with his fanatics is more dangerous to thread the needle.
I believe Harris was the choice, but she was so incredibly bad she couldn’t even get black support, which they absolutely need.
Spartacus was a never chancer. Klobuschar is another who will fake fast.
Warren they hoped wouldn’t be worse than Hillary in the likable column, she is. She comes off more phony and vile than Hillary which is saying a lot.
Buttigeig is not going to sell either. He has the minority problem, he is an extremist who will fade and not be able to siphon off votes from Bernie.
Bernie will get hurt by any health issues he has. His heart attack knocked him down fast, and while it’s come back, it would kill off support very quickly because you don’t vote for the VP when it’s the top of the ticket you want.
Bloomberg thinks he can buy the election. He might even have a deal with Bernie for a nice payoff to him better than a new beach house.
But yeah. Biden is finished, even if he is too dementia afflicted to realize it.
