Ocasio-Cortez Goes to War With Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee

AOC may be ticked at the DCCC, but she threw the first punch weeks ago when she threatened to put moderate Democrats on a list, making them electoral targets.

Grab the popcorn because this is going to get good.

Over the weekend, Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez publicly swiped at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and a new policy designed to protect incumbent candidates from primary challengers. AOC won her seat by ousting an incumbent.

The responses are just perfect:

In any case, the DCCC recently amended their vendor rules, requiring vendors to work only with incumbent Congressmen. From their vendor form:

the DCCC will not conduct business with, nor recommend to any of its targeted campaigns, any consultant that works with an opponent of a sitting Member of the House Democratic Caucus.

AOC may be ticked at the DCCC, but she threw the first punch weeks ago when she threatened to put moderate Democrats on a list, making them electoral targets.

From the WaEx:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., threatened Thursday to put Democratic colleagues that vote Republican “on a list” for primary challenges.

The progressive freshman representative suggested in a closed-door meeting of House Democrats that she would help liberal activists unseat moderate Democrats skirting the party line, a spokesperson for Ocasio-Cortez said according to the Washington Post.

“She said that when activists ask her why she had to vote for a gun safety bill that also further empowers an agency that forcibly injects kids with psychotropic drugs, they’re going to want a list of names and she’s going to give it to them,” spokesperson Corbin Trent said, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Rock ’em, sock ’em power play.

You’re gonna need a bigger bag of popcorn.

Can we stop giving her publicity?

There is one advantage to all this PR. Articles are popping up describing how angry her constituents are because she is hard to get hold and she doesn’t have local offices.

And, doesn’t she realize that this rule helps her re-election options since no one can use the usual consultants to get her seat?

No, hell no. The more people that see that dingbat the more will realize the heart and soul of the democrat party are dingbats.

Democrats starting a 2nd civil war but this time within their own party?

That’s a very good thing!!!!!!

God help us all if this woman ever obtains real power and authority!

I love this woman.

If that’s not enough, the mainstream is defending Biden.

MarkS, figure the odds. She can win in NYC. I think she’s beautiful She’s the blessed future of Denocrat. Tom Perez tells me. How did we get this lucky?

I suggest that everyone read the vendor form that is linked –
https://action.dccc.org/sign-up/political-vendors

Check out the other restrictions, including no markup for production costs, using their systems, using union labor, and ownership/senior staffing and staffing levels related to minority, women, vet, disabled, LGBT.

Many of these restrictions raise vendor costs directly, as well as indirectly by reducing supply by disqualify many vendors. Which can reasonably be expected to result higher costs for the DCCC.

But (the tree-forest question): are the higher costs really there if the buyers are not aware (or refuse to believe) that these restrictions almost surely mean they’re paying more than they have to for these services?

The internal democrat party power struggles and purges between the new extremist progressive red guards and the old proto-socialist limousine bourgeoise should be tallied and tracked.

The SPLC purges and this public bickering over money being prime examples.

Did you know that Michelle Obama’s “bosom buddy”
    (of last week’s Smollett scandal),
Tchen – Michelle’s lead chief of staff, or so,
has supposedly been appointed guardian of the SPLC’s half a Trillion Dollars trust fund?

Say good-bye to that trust fund SPLC!!!!!!!!

You are correct, but I believe everyone is missing the bigger struggle. The real battle for the helm of the Democratic party is Islam v/s progressive and the old corruptocrats. I predict Islam will win out in the end. That’s where the global money, support and cohesion is. Plus they are more ruthless. There are billions of Muslims willing support the effort, and a significant number of whom a million dollar donation is chicken feed. Progressives are weak, silly and losing ground.

That is why you are seeing the Democrats unable, if not unwilling to get a handle on the antisemitism. That’s fundraising gold for them.

I guess if you’re going to go down, go down in flames.

If you have seen any of the coverage of AOC being someone was selected to be the front person for the Social Democrats you can see how she was out-of-the-blue talking about other Democrat seats and taking on the DCCC.

This isn’t AVC making waves. The Justice Democrats fully intend to challenge Democrat incumbents to place Socialists in their place.

The freshman three should be stripped of committee assignments and re-assigned to the commission on naming federal restrooms.

The Packetman | April 1, 2019 at 5:43 pm

I have to agree with AOC.

To be responsive to the constituency, parties shouldn’t favor an incumbent over a challenger. The parties should let their voters decide who their standard bearer will be.

And don’t you even for a second think that the GOP wouldn’t do the same thing if they were in the position of the DNC.

Pelosi and the rest of the Democrat old bulls in Congress will slap this little pest good and hard–or at least they will try to.

Right message, wrong messenger.

Why does she remind me of Paul Lazarro from Slaughterhouse 5?
