Trump Orders Declassification of FISA Applications and Russia Probe Texts
It’s about to hit the fan
Monday, the White House announced Trump’s order for “immediate declassification” of the FISA application in the matter of Carter Page, a former Trump campaign advisor, which includes 20 pages of documents.
Additionally, and the best part, Trump ordered public release “without redaction” of texts messages pertaining to the Russia investigation from James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.
The release:

Joyous, with unneeded cover generously supplied by the democrat’s Kavanaugh antics.
And so it begins…
to be blocked by a judge in 5,4,3…
On what grounds?
Since when has that ever stopped the Liberals activist judges?
Rod Rosenstein is going to be desperate. He can’t let this out. He won’t release anything and Sessions will agree they are working as fast as they can and will release all the documents as soon as possible as in never.
Insubordination by Rod R would be valid grounds for dismissal by Trump. Go ahead – make his day.
It will be an obvious lie if they claim they are “working as fast as they can” to release the documents as there is no actual work involved. The President, acting entirely within his classification/declassification authority, has ordered them to release the documents without redactions. They have the unredacted documents on file. We know they have them as we’ve seen the redacted versions. It took work to make the redactions but the only work right now is putting a few dozen now completely declassified documents in an envelope, putting the documents in a brief case, and giving them to the appropriate committee chairs.
Rosenstein has two options for failing to release the documents in Page’s file; resign or be fired. A third option might be to claim they no longer have the documents, another obvious lie, which is merely another way of selecting option two and get fired.
“On what grounds?”
Too funny, Milhouse, too funny.
I recall President Obama said ‘I could do this thing by executive order, but it would be illegal.’ Then a couple of years later he did that thing, by executive order. Then President Trump had an executive order overturning the Obama executive order, which Obama had said would be illegal. A judge was found who stopped President Trump’s executive order stopping an illegal Obama executive order. With leftist-socialist-Marxist-Democrat judges, their feelings are what matters, and they would be more than happy to stop the President from doing a number of things he is legally charged with doing.
Too funny.
Apparently, the Democrats don’t need no stinkin judges …

Actually Trump backed off with DoJ claiming release of some of the records would “harm the Russia investigation”. So the investigation of Trump’s collusion with Russia in 2016 to win the election is the reason to not release the documents? Beside the fact there is no criminal statute for “collusion”, it isn’t a crime (except in some anti-trust situations which don’t apply to elections) and talking to Russians isn’t a crime either (too bad a certain former National Security Advisor didn’t remember this).
So now the DoJ IG’s office will be reviewing all the documents which were supposed to be “immediately” released. Might be before the 2020 elections, unless they help Trump.
And he did it while standing on wet grass in the wind…..
Great line!!!
Oh Snap! y’all!!
What took so long? The Rs have been demanding this for over a year now.
Well, I’ve been predicting to my buddies at coffee that Trump would do this at a time of his choosing sufficiently before the midterm elections for the contents to be spread before and digested by the electorate.
I think it’s been part of his strategy all along. Mueller hasn’t come up with a damn thing against him in how many months. This will be the nails in the coffin. The whole Democrat push delegitimization will be shown to be the sham that it is. As if this Kavanaugh kerfuffle weren’t enough ….
… that’s “push for delegitimization” … Need an “edit” feature.
Trump is declassifying. DiFi is stonewalling. Biden still sounds like the idiot he is. Max Waters mouth over-floweth. And, I think a whole lot of people are wondering if things are going to settle down any time soon!
The Praetorians at the FBI and DOJ will be indicted…Comey, McCabe, and Strzok…
Should be…unfortunately, not will be.
You are more likely correct than not.
Hell yeah. Let ‘er rip!
Whatever is revealed by these documents, I still don’t want Sessionszzz handling the investigation. That’s how the Deep State rigs the outcome.
I want full transparency, followed by an impartial evaluation from non-swampy eyes, followed by convictions and/or hangings.
If the U.S. Dept. of Justice needs a troop of volunteer patriotic-but-skeptical citizens to make this, like, actually happen, count me in!
I believe that Trump has had Sessions sitting on all of this to create an October Surprise. If Sessions is a tool, he’s Trump’s tool.
Does anybody believe the DoJ and FBI will fully comply with this order? If what they release is in fact complete and unredacted it’s a ready-made roadmap to indict a hell of a lot of people. I predict what they release will be incomplete and edited, if they obey the release order at all.
If they don’t comply, it’s a leadership issue. Fire the top guys and give new acting directors 24 hours to comply. Rinse and repeat till they remember they serve the American people.
I think those documents named might already be in the hands of the House Intelligence Committee so rolling them out may not be at the discretion of the DoJ.
Nunes will have to read it in to the Congressional Record. The criminal DOJ/FBI will never release it.
At best they might be in a Congressional SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). I definitely remember that certain members had access to them but per DoJ/FBI ground rules could not remove the documents or make any notes.
If the SCIF isn’t actually at Congress all bets are off as to whether the DoJ and FBI illegally try to defy this perfectly legal order.
And, the question on everyone’s mind (okay, maybe it’s just me): Would he have made this move now, if the Dimocrats hadn’t monkeyed with the Kavanaugh nomination process. Or is this a “up yours” to the Dims.
It’s Trump playing the news cycles. He’s prepping to suck the wind out of their lungs in the lead up to the election.
Have you not been paying attention? “Monkeyed” is a **RACIST** term now !!!!!!!!

Yeah, I knew that. It’s just that the last 2 words that are not considered racist, sexist, misogynistic, or homophobic didn’t fit what I wanted to say.
I suspect the final release *not* to be fully redacted, due to “Sources and Methods” but I’ll bet it’s a (censored) sight more than we’ve seen so far.
*And* hopefully this includes all of the ‘unmasking’ that outgoing Obama administration officials did in order to spy on the communications of the incoming administration.
How long, oh Lord? How long?
My prayer: Dear Lord, BURN THEIR HOUSE DOWN!
Tick Tock …
9th circuit, today, a ruling to halt any release of DOJ/FBI documents, watch.
9th circuit, today, a ruling to halt any release of DOJ/FBI documents
Sorry, this is all interior to the Executive branch, where the 9th Circuit doesn’t rule.
As was noted above, since when has that stopped activist Democratic judges?
