Student Author of “Your DNA is an abomination” Column Defends His Work
“I am not the first, nor the last, individual to discuss such issues”
Rudy Martinez, the student who wrote an op-ed at Texas State University (see back story here) defended his work when contacted by the College Fix:
Student columnist defends his op-ed celebrating ‘white death,’ says it isn’t racist
A Texas State University student is standing behind his recent controversial op-ed published in the campus newspaper that argues “white death will mean liberation for all.”
Student Rudy Martinez has come under fire for his Nov. 28 column in The University Star titled “Your DNA is an abomination.” The editor in chief of the campus newspaper has even issued an apology over its publication.
But Martinez, in an interview Wednesday with The College Fix, doubled down on his arguments.
“The article speaks for itself,” he told The College Fix via email. “… Though my language, especially when I claim to have only ever met ‘12 decent white people,’ could be deemed as hyperbolic (just barely), it has accomplished its goal: starting a conversation and outing racists.”
“… Was the piece racist? Nope; racist attitudes come from a position of power,” Martinez added in his email. “The only group who have ever held true power in this nation are those who call themselves ‘white.’”…
In his email Wednesday to The College Fix, Martinez said that for those who find his column insulting, infuriating or racist, he has some reading recommendations. Namely, Frantz Fanon’s “The Wretched of the Earth,” Dr. Huey P. Newton’s “Revolutionary Suicide,” Valerie Solanas’ “SCUM Manifesto” and “The Autobiography of Malcolm X.”
“I am not the first, nor the last, individual to discuss such issues,” Martinez told The Fix via email. “In fact, the aforementioned thinkers are subtly referenced throughout the entire piece.”

What a jerk. “racist attitudes come from a position of power” Bovine Scat! Racist attitudes come from Hate. Assault, murder, promoting racial cleansing, all based on hate. Just as the words of this Rudy Martinez come from hate. He is vile, and obviously will find wonderful employment at the NYT, WaPo, CNN, CNBC, or any one of the other putrefying MSM outlets. Just disgusting, like most unthinking leftists.

Well, I wouldn’t call it a “conversation,” but to be fair, he did get that part about “outing racists” right. One racist, anyway.
His defense- that he’s not a crackpot because he’s just expressing what he learned (and this probably at the institution of “higher learning” he attends)- appears to be sound.
He said, “racist attitudes come from a position of power.” Is it not basic leftist dogma that non-whites can’t be racist, and isn’t this now taught at practically every college in America?
Consider this, from Tablet Magazine:
“Is it OK to be white? The question is at once disingenuous, facetious, satirical, and self-parodic. It is also one of the consequential questions being posed in earnest by the moral and political vanguards of our time.”
Got that? Martinez is just repeating what he’s heard from “the moral and political vanguards of our time.” And a re-iteration of this thesis (after some sleight-of-hand, wherein “white” morphs into “whiteness”:
“The underlying premise is plain: that there is no whiteness independent of the domination of nonwhites, no masculinity independent of the domination of women.”

Who are you to disagree with “the moral and political vanguards of our time”? Are his assertions not fully supported by the dominant (and increasingly the only) discourse one finds on practically every college campus in America? In what way are his views not fully mainstream within his college milieu?
