USCCA is offering “The Law of Self Defense” in a steeply discounted package
Some of you may be aware that the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) has licensed my book, “The Law of Self Defense, 3rd Edition.” They’ve added their own cover, and a foreword by their CEO, Tim Schmidt, but otherwise it’s the same book. I’m also a member of USCCA’s Legal Advisory Board (LAB).
USCCA is currently offering “The Law of Self Defense” as part of a package with their own excellent book, “Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals” and several instructional DVDs at a very steep 50% discount.

I’ve consistently found USCCA’s self-defense training materials to be solid, no-nonsense stuff, and their credentialed instructors to be extremely capable. “The Law of Self Defense”, if you do not have it, buy it. Good knowledge, but it also supports a great contributor to LI.
I strongly suggest that anyone who carries a firearm, for defense, or who may need to use a firearm in self defense [that would be the rest of the population] read a copy of Mr. Branca’s book. The cost of the book might just save you extensive legal fees and a stay in the Grey Bar Hotel.
I don’t think that that can be repeated too much. There is, at times, a fine line between self-defense and manslaughter (or even murder). If you carry concealed, or even openly, and don’t have some sort of immunity through being armed as a govt employee, then you need to understand that line – and AB’s book is, by far, the best place to go to discover it. (I would also suggest the book for gun toting govt employees, because, even for them, self-defense is the best defense if they need to discharge their firearms).
Purchased on general principle. Still have two spare copies of “The Law of Self Defense” on the shelf, this will make three 🙂
The legal jeopardy of a self defense encounter is at least as great as the physical jeopardy. Andrew F. Branca and Massad Ayoob are must reads.

Seriously though, “The Law of Self Defense” should be required reading for any Concealed Carry, Use of Force, or Armed Self Defense class. This book is the standard and there is no substitute.
