FBI Notes Reveal Hillary’s Housekeeper Handled Sensitive and Classified Materials

Had access to secure room, printed intelligence briefings and other documents

According to FBI notes and memos, Hillary Clinton had her housekeeper print out sensitive materials, including material that was marked “confidential” and “secret” or “top secret.”  The housekeeper, Marina Santos, does not have the security clearance to handle classified information.

Fox News reports:

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government emails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, D.C., e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her D.C. residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected the Filipino immigrant to handle state secrets, further opening the Democratic presidential nominee to criticism that she played fast and loose with national security.

Clinton would first receive highly sensitive emails from top aides at the State Department and then request that they, in turn, forward the messages and any attached documents to Santos to print out for her at the home.

The New York Post provides details about the emails regarding Santos printing out sensitive and classified materials.

Among other things, Clinton requested Santos print out drafts of her speeches, confidential memos and “call sheets” — background information and talking points prepared for the secretary of state in advance of a phone call with a foreign head of state.

“Pls ask Marina to print for me in am,” Clinton e-mailed top aide Huma Abedin regarding a redacted 2011 message marked sensitive but unclassified.

In a classified 2012 e-mail dealing with the new president of Malawi, another Clinton aide, Monica Hanley, advised Clinton, “We can ask Marina to print this.”

“Revisions to the Iran points” was the subject line of a classified April 2012 e-mail to Clinton from Hanley. In it, the text reads, “Marina is trying to print for you.”

Both classified e-mails were marked “confidential,” the tier below “secret” or “top secret.”

In order to access and handle classified and other sensitive State documents at Hillary’s request, Santos had access to Hillary’s SCIF, a (supposedly) secure room installed by security agents for Hillary’s use at her residence.  Without clearance, Santos should not have been permitted to even enter the room, let alone handle its contents.

Notably, among the classified documents Santos “periodically” printed out were top secret presidential daily intelligence briefings  prepared by the CIA and FBI.

The New York Post continues:

Santos also had access to a highly secure room called an SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility) that diplomatic security agents set up at Whitehaven, according to FBI notes from an interview with Abedin.

From within the SCIF, Santos — who had no clearance — “collected documents from the secure facsimile machine for Clinton,” the FBI notes revealed.

Just how sensitive were the papers Santos presumably handled? The FBI noted Clinton periodically received the Presidential Daily Brief — a top-secret document prepared by the CIA and other US intelligence agencies — via the secure fax.

A 2012 “sensitive” but unclassified e-mail from Hanley to Clinton refers to a fax the staff wanted Clinton “to see before your Netanyahu mtg. Marina will grab for you.”

Watch the report:

In an eye-brow raising revelation, the Post further reports that “it appears Clinton was never asked by the FBI in its yearlong investigation to turn over the iMac Santos used to receive the e-mails, or the printer she used to print out the documents, or the printouts themselves.”

Oh, I bet she’s the one that ‘wiped it with a cloth or something’.

The trouble is that so few adults actually pay attention or care any longer. I mean there are “adults” paying attention but they’re more concerned with #nastywomenvote, #jayziswithher or #trumpsaidpussy.

As a veteran who held a TS-SBI and worked in a SCIF, the behavior of Sec. Clinton should end her career and put her in legal jeopardy but I doubt that will happen. Instead we’ll see the true acceptance of two tier legal system.

Imagine how Gen. Petraeus must feel. Sure he was wrong have an affair with Paula Broadwell and was wrong to so her his private, hand written briefing book. However at least Ms. Broadwell was “LTC Broadwell” with the MANG and was a contractor with the FBI dealing with counter-terrorism who had a security clearance. Yet, Gen. Petraeus lost all credibility and was convicted of a crime. Sec. Clinton; mishandled classified information, sent classified information to her daughter and new we know asked her immigrant maid to print classified information and her punishment is . . . . probably the next POTUS. Sad.

Will, I mean no offense. I believe you are who you say you are. But you seem to be confusing and combining two terms which don’t go together.

“As a veteran who held a TS-SBI and worked in a SCIF, the behavior of Sec. Clinton should end her career and put her in legal jeopardy but I doubt that will happen. Instead we’ll see the true acceptance of two tier legal system.”

I retired in 2008. I have to refresh my memory, too. But you held a TS/SCI clearance. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information. And you underwent an SSBI or Single-Scope Background Investigation to get it.

The reason I mention it isn’t to embarrass you or to question who you are. I retired after 20 years in 2008 and I find my memory slipping or, more usually, the terms I remember are obsolete.

I mention it to make a simple point. The DNC leg-humping MSM would crucify normal people like you and me for a simple slip of the tongue should we dare to expose Hillary Clinton’s obvious and multiple felonies. While at the same time overlooking and excusing Hillary Clinton’s obvious and multiple felonies.

This is how hard have to try to overlook those felonies. I can’t vouch for the quality of the media reports concerning the maid. But it’s SOP that the FBI, had it been functioning as a professional law enforcement agency at least pretending to be conducting a professional investigation, would have gotten search warrants and seized any and all IT equipment the subjects or material witnesses or whatever they wanted to call them had access to. Whether Huma Abedin considered some IT devices she had access to “hers” and other IT equipment she had access to “his” or not. No professional investigator would have trusted her to make that call. It would have all been confiscated and analyzed simply because Huma Abedin had access to it. A professional investigative agency would have no more taken Abedin’s word than they would let a murder suspect determine which one of the family cars they get to search to determine if they can match the carpet fibers found on the body to the suspect’s car. They’d never let the suspect decide for them that they can search the one car she considered “hers” but not the other car parked next to it in the same house’s garage in the same home where all the car keys for all the cars are dangling on hooks in the kitchen because the suspect tells the investigators that she considers the other car “his.”

But that’s how the FBI operated in this case.

And as a matter of course they would have interviewed the maid. Because we’re talking about the reckless removal of both federal records as well as classified material to a place of unauthorized storage. The unauthorized place of storage we all know, including in-the-tank Clintonistas was Clinton’s home. Felonies all around. Any dumbass rookie investigator would know if the subject who is improperly storing information in her own home no matter the format has a maid, you interview the maid. You would interview anyone who had regular access to that place of improper storage.

Yet Comey prevented his experienced investigators from doing what any dumbass rookie investigator knows to do. How clearly does anybody need to have it spelled out. Comey planned on throwing this investigation from the start. Hence the report demonstrates it was never an investigation from the start.

But you misremember a single letter, my brother, and the same DNC propaganda machine giving the Clintons, Hillary’s aides, and Comey a pass for their obvious monstrous crimes would destroy you.

Well, that settles that… I am going to write in Marina Santos, a wise Latina I am sure.

All of the sides in this election claim what they really want is someone to go in and clean house. Now, I ask you… who would be better qualified than a maid who is completely briefed on our international diplomacy?

Nothing…and I mean absolutely NOTHING surprises me about the Clintons anymore.

C’mon, people. How is a single Fillipino maid going to hurt the country? Is she going to raise an army and take DC? Of course not. She probably doesn’t even speak or read English, thought she was copying yoga lessons and baby shower invitations. Nothing to see here, except your sexism and racism against these two poor women trying to make it in a white man’s world.

Well, Henry, if you ever get into the same pickle, try using that defense! Is it possible that she could pass these on to unknown third parties who do have armies? This woman is in trouble. She doesn’t get immunity because she works as a maid, or because she’s a certain race. Her offense is trafficking in government secrets. Not relevant who told her to do it or why.

      whooosh.

Arminius in reply to Henry Hawkins. | November 7, 2016 at 5:32 am

Just so you know, Henry, I got your point even if the irony challenged didn’t. So I gave you a thumbs up.

I can understand why people are irony challenged these days but come on people. The Russians didn’t lose their sense of humor despite 75 years of Bolshevik oppression so neither should we lose our sense of humor even before we’ve lost the battle.

An old Soviet joke, but these days it requires a bit of set-up as I doubt anyone here has ever seen or heard of a LADA. It was a crappier version of an old FIAT license built and theoretically for sale to the “masses” in the Soviet Union. So a guy finally saves up enough Rubles to buy his LADA and goes to the dealer and makes his purchase.

Comrade Dealer: Congratulations Comrade. And due to the efficiency of Soviet industry you can expect delivery of your new LADA in just ten years from today.

Comrade Buyer: Ten years from today? Will that be morning or afternoon?

Comrade Dealer: What does it matter? It’s ten years from now.

Comrade Buyer: Because I called the plumber about my leaky toilet this morning, and that’s the same day he’ll be showing up to fix it.

You people are going to need to learn jokes like this because thanks to the miracle of Obamacare this is going to be how you’ll be scheduling your hip replacements or cancer treatments. I can’t until the DNC leg-humping MSM announces triumphantly (and these propagandists who would have made the writers of Pravda blush with shame will joyously acclaim it as proof Obamacare is working) that the waiting list for a bed in a hospital delivery ward is now down to a mere twelve months.

Thanks for explaining that Henry’s comment was a joke! I’ll be more careful next time.
To the investigation and its conduct, what do we know really?
It seems that huma and Weiner (and the maid) have not been arrested (or they have agreed to delay it so as not to interfere in the election …of Hillary).

Agree about the ridiculous nonsense about”sharing” the laptop. If anything, it makes it worse for Huma. She dumped sensitive government information on a public device (and admitted to routinely making hard copies – who for? Where are they now? In a landfill? At Starbucks?

BTW, not for nothing, but when did you last ask your cleaner to print some work stuff out for you? Who does that?
“Please, be a dear and login to Huma’s Yahoo account and print off the Benghazi mails! Thanks, and tell those secret service stiffs to wipe their feet!”

Come on Henry. You’re really not that stupid, right?

She could easily pass information to those that can do something with it… like murder someone who was named in a TS email that was exposed.

Exposure of TS information is deemed to potentially cause grave damage, according to our Government.

Hillary is a felon and should be in jail. If I had done this I would already be in jail.

“No matter how cynical I become, I just cannot keep up.” –Lily Tomlin

NavyMustang in reply to ugottabekiddinme. | November 7, 2016 at 6:23 am

The irony of Lily’s statement is that she is more than likely a big supporter of Clinton. I know she signed a petition demanding Trump be booted from the race.

I imagine she would use the same words that Henry Hawkins wrote at 5:32pm and mean every single word in all seriousness.

Just imagine – try and imagine: what will be if this corrupt psycho wins the White House.

You just try.

But Hillary is a woman and we know how inept they are. She didn’t mean to commit a felony. Nobody mentioned that to her before. Poor thing, I bet she needs money too. How can I start a fundme account for her?

Does anybody know Marina Santos’ immigration status? I seriously doubt she’s here illegally. But is she a citizen or a resident alien; i.e. a green card holder?

If it’s the latter that compounds Hillary Clinton’s felonious violations of the Espionage Act. It would mean she was so grossly negligent that not only did she allow an uncleared person access to to TS/SCI (a reading from the book of obvious: that’s why Clinton needed to have a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility or SCIF installed in her house, so she could handle Sensitive Compartmented information or SCI which is always TS) that person was a foreign national. It would also give investigators leverage over Santos as she could have her green card revoked if she wouldn’t testify against Clinton. She could be charged as an accessory to felony if she tries to cover for her boss.

https://www.us-immigration.com/us-immigration-news/us-green-card/can-my-us-green-card-be-revoked/

“Criminal activity. In some cases, a green card holder may commit a serious enough crime that is grounds for deportation. In this case, the green card can be revoked.”

The above is just speculation, but this isn’t. WTFO?!?!. Comey can’t find intent here. Not only did Hillary Clinton sign a legally binding contract, a Non-Disclosure Agreement, saying she had been thoroughly briefed on and understood all aspects of her responsibilities when it came to recognizing classified information, handling, storing, etc., as well as having been briefed on and understood the administrative, civil, and criminal penalties for failing to exercise her special duty of care, she had a freakin’ SCIF installed in her house.

Now I’m not familiar with all kinds of SCIFs. There are, for instance, in addition to full-up SCIFs (which I not only worked in but would travel around Asia to commands whose need for a SCIF was finally recognized but of course didn’t yet have their own SSO to inspect and confirm that their newly constructed SCIF was ready for accreditation) there are Secure Working Area SCIFs and Temporarary Secure Working Area SCIFs. All is completely unclassified, by the way.

It sounds like even from Clinton’s own description hers was a Secure Working Area SCIF. That’s where someone can discuss TS/SCI, handle TS/SCI, but not store TS/SCI.

But there are still security standards, such as entry and exit controls (again this is not classified). Does anybody imagine the security people at DoS didn’t tell about all this when that SCIF was built? To cut to the chase, they most certainly did brief her because it was either in her boring memoir “Tough Choices” or in one of her shifting lies about understanding the rules for handling classified after her rogue server came to light, but she talked about security procedures in her own SCIF, and at the end of he day everything had to go into a burn bag. No matter the source, Clinton has made it public knowledge that she clearly understood she couldn’t store TS/SCI (indeed from her description she couldn’t store any classified information) in a facility where she was authorized to handle and discuss it. Let that sink in.

So she understood perfectly well she couldn’t store classified information overnight in her private SCIF. Let me repeat; she understood it was a big no-no even in her private Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. Yet she stored TS/SCI, Secret, and Confidential information on her private, unclas rogue server for years.

And when her server came to light she attempted to destroy all he evidence. She was only partially successful.

But Comey can’t see his way to intent? Then he is either too stupid to find his own ass with both hands or just as crooked as the Clinons. He hasn’t impressed me with his smarts but I’m betting on the second option.

When I say I was speculating I meant only that I don’t know Ms. Santos’ immigration status. I don’t know if she’s a citizen or a green card holder. But any investigator would have asked the question, and determined the answer, because the answer would have been relevant to the investigation.

I crack myself up; there never an actual investigation. Are you not entertained by Comey’s “investigation theater?”

Also I found at least one place where Hillary demonstrated, despite Comey’s testimony to the contrary, that she was “sophisticated” enough to know and understand security procedures that she clearly had been briefed on. Fickle memory tells me it isn’t the only place where I read or heard she did know the laws governing her special duty of care r.e. classified information but it’ll do for now. It’s in the FBI’s own notes they took when they interviewed her.

https://www.scribd.com/document/322854911/Hillary-Clinton-Emails-FBI-Interview-OCR

Page 1 of 11, second paragraph from the top.

It’s an interesting paragraph. For instance, according to these notes it was merely “CLINTON’s practice to lock the SCIF every time it was vacated.” Nooo, that’s not a mere practice; that’s a hard and fast security requirement. You don’t leave a SCIF of any sort unlocked (and in my experience without setting the alarm, but that may not be required for a SWA SCIF within the United States) if it is going to be unmanned. According to the the notes and Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails she had a fax machine capable of secure and unsecure transmission. You can’t take the chance that you’d get an unsolicited classified fax while the SCIF is unattended and the door isn’t locked.

Which is pretty much what happened. So, did she leave the door unlocked or did she teach the maid the combination to the lock? Either one is a big no-no. As in, a felony. According to these notes only she knew the combination to the SCIFs at both her DC and NY residences:

“Each SCIF had a combination lock that only CLINTON knew the combination to.”

They didn’t ask the obvious follow-on questions. It’s also becoming clear why they didn’t interview the maid. Irrespective of her immigration status, if you don’t want to get any different answers that would prove Clinton committed crimes or lied to federal investigators, don’t ask anyone else the questions or Comey might have heard something he didn’t want to hear.

The last sentence in the paragraph.

“After consuming hard copy classified documents in her residence, CLINTON would place the documents in a ‘burn bag.'”

So clearly Clinton knew the law when it came to the proper handling, storage, and destruction of classified documents. She knew her own private SCIF wasn’t an authorized storage facility for classified information, even overnight. And she followed those laws in the breech when she thought there’d literally be a paper trail. But she broke those same laws on a galactic scale when the same or similar types of documents were sent to her in an electronic format and she thought she could get away with.

A moderately competent prosecutor could have proven intent here, given the whole scope of information we have. Hillary Clinton isn’t a particularly good liar or thief or threat to national security. She needs an army of sycophants, court toadies, and throne sniffers to help her with it. Fortunately for her, and unfortunately for the country and the rest of us, the criminal conspiracy known as the Democratic party is willing to provide her those by the battalion.
