What sad news. Mrs. Reagan was an admirable woman. We will pray for comfort for her family, but will rejoice in her peaceful rest.
May the light and love of God surround and protect her soul on its journey home.
Sad day indeed.
I’m Free
I’m Free – Unknown
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life’s been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
‘Well done, good and faithful servant, well done’.
A part of America has died with her. A great First Lady.
Compare to Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama… No asket for either of those two. Piano cases, instead.
May they ride horses together forever in heaven.
It may not be impossible to be a great man without the support of a great woman, but it has to be immeasurably harder. Nancy rightfully shares credit for Ron’s great leadership, which, from my six decade perspective on life, was America’s high water mark.
RIP Nancy Reagan. This would be a good day to avoid the feral leftist sites.
