I don’t think we’ll always have “Paris”
If we even still do.
There’s something about Paris.
The City of Light. And Art. And Cafes. And Love.
In many ways, the epitome of western civilization in the form of a city.
Which is why it’s so hard to see it fall in the past decades into something very different.
And which is why it’s a target of those who oppose western civilization.
I went into our Media Library and searched for the images of “Paris” we’ve used at Legal Insurrection.
It’s not pretty.
Will we always have Paris?
Paris the city, yes.
“Paris” – I’m not so sure we have it anymore.

“… and as the fortunes of war reversed and the situation on the front deteriorated, energy and resources were diverted to redoubling efforts to label imported Israeli products.”

Marshal law (or the equivalent) for now … good time to clean out all those no go zones. And deport any found with weapons.
“Marshal law”?
lol .. yes, where Marshal Dillon runs things. Also known as “martial law”. They called it something else in France, but said they could go into homes, confiscate weapons.
The Nazi’s couldn’t destroy Paris, so, the Parisian’s did it themselves by inviting evil in. They are espèce d’imbécile!
If France’s university students are anything like ours, the solution is easy.
Demands:
1. Hollande resign and issue handwritten acknowledgement of his white privilege.
2. Sharp increase in number of Muslim government Ministers.
3. Mandatory sensitivity training for all ethnically French, French citizens.
Don’t forget the €15 minimum wage for terrorists.
Because you know, if they just had good paying jobs, they wouldn’t be terrorists. That’s what I heard, somewhere.
4. Play muslim call to prayer over loudspeakers mounted on top of churches.
I’m glad I made my visit to Paris 25 years ago. I was more impressed than I thought I’d be, back then. I don’t think I would even consider a visit, these days. Not sure I’d even want to return to Europe now.
Maybe if I had a prayer rug.
A lot of hatred toward the Jewish people, God’s chosen people, is depicted in those photos. Looking at them gives me a very bad feeling.
“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” Gen 12:3
How much blood and treasure will the US throw away on these people THIS time?
To those down-ticking me, “these people” means the French, not the muslims. I should have been more clear.
I up-ticked you. I don’t want my active military children deployed to the Middle East to die under the current rules of engagement, or because we are supporting or training godknowswhat jihadist “rebels”, or because we continue to refuse to identify who is the enemy.
Those pictures of “global warming” sure are unsettling.
Istanbul or Constantinople?
I guess it will depend if Christians discover their dignity and stand their ground… and stop choosing/aborting and planning/cannibalizing their Posterity. It’s one thing to submit to the will of an invader. It’s quite another to preemptively kill your own people.
Communists & Islamists have a lot in common.
Isn’t Hollande the one who mocked Netanyahu’s statement about the need to stop the spread of ISIS?
Read Brendan O’Neill’s great essay at Spiked linked below. The war is on two fronts. On one front there is the Islamists who are chopping off heads, setting men on fire and watching them burn alive, and picking off unarmed people in concert halls like sitting ducks in a shooting gallery. And as soon as the Islamists do their horrific deeds, the self loathing hideous American and European left effectively apologize for it and blame Western Civilization (see Salon and The Guardian). How do you expect to win the ideological war against the Islamists when the American and European left are excusing the Islamists and blaming us?
The American and European left may not be setting men on fire and chopping off heads, but they hate Western Civilization as much as the Islamists do. We have to stop treating them like the loyal opposition. They are enemies of Western Civilization.

That’s not the Paris I fell in love with in 1988. But I do have to admit, I was a little shocked at the armed military on the streets of Paris, even in 1988. It was the first time I ever saw soldiers with guns that looked like M16s (have no idea what they were, but they looked deadly). There was a bomb threat at Orly just before we arrived to leave for home. It was a different world, even then and I was so happy to be back on American soil (especially since our trip took us to Budapest before the Iron curtain fell).

No matter how they change her, I’ll remember her that way.”
