Because until it hits one of my computers, it’s still cool.
- The New York Times says there is a hidden reference to Book of Esther in the code. Flag, or false flag?
- It’s all over China. Flag, or false flag?
- Iran has delayed the opening of its nuclear reactor, due to hot weather (heh).
- All is well, do not panic.

The best part is that even if the Israelis didn't create the virus they will get credit. Not bad credit if you ask me. How much better is it to destroy your enemies computers than to start a full scale destructive war. But then again somehow the world will find that the evil Israelis had no right (of course as they all breathe a sigh of relief)…oh well…maybe the Book of Esther truly is a good analogy for the situation…those who wish to destroy the Jews really should concentrate on what actually was Haman's fate…
re: the reference to the book of esther…
First, in theory that could be a christian doing that. Yes, we don't stress what we call the "old testament" as much as the new testament, but it is in both of our religious traditions and more than a few christians feel it is their duty to protect isreal. liberals often attribute it to screwy theories about bringing about the end times, but to me its more of a golden rule thing, combined with a desire to avoid a second holocaust.
And i really think that is what President Amadanutjob is planning. Of course this is the same guy who denies there was a first holocaust. my (dark) joke is that his position is that "there has not been a holocaust, yet."
As for the false flag concern, i am reminded of a bit toward the beginning of the original "Pirates of the Carribean." Jack Sparrow runs into two guards and he is trying to get a look at a ship and they ask him what his business is.
Jack: Well, then, I confess, it is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out!
Murtogg: I said no lies!
Mullroy: I think he’s telling the truth.
Murtogg: If he were telling the truth, he wouldn’t have told us.
Jack : Unless, of course, he knew you wouldn’t believe the truth even if he told it to you.
So yeah, be appropriately skeptical, but who knows, really?
I mean if it was a jewish hacker, maybe he figured that no matter what happened they will blame the “Jooooos!” anyway, so f— it, they might as well make it obvious.
Or maybe it was an inside job and they are trying to throw them off the trail.
I like the part of the NYT story that says that the "myrtus" reference is exceptionally telling .. unless it's not.
"This story is absolutely true and powerfully important . . . unless it's not."
If I were handling the Iranian debugging and came across the word "Haman" , I'd get the hell out of there.
Most of us know the Book of Esther and we know what Esther did to save her people.
It is an astounding analogy because Ahmanutjob has been behaving exactly like Haman in that he is determined to obliterate "the Jews". Haman was full of hatred in his determination to kill the Jews to the point that he built those gallows.
The threats are exactly the same. Esther had nothing to do with "End Times". The people were in exile.
The use of the story does not necessarily mean that it was code written by an Israeli. However, it is clever code, and it has clearly been written in order to stop progression on the nuclear reactor. This brings home the bravery of Queen Esther when she approached the king with the attempt to save her people.
