The Prime Minister of the Jewish State doesn’t seem to feel the need to stick to Happy Generic Holiday which happens to arrive in late December every year and is not the one invented in the 1960s.
It’s a good thing he doesn’t live in a mostly Christian country, because otherwise he’d be in big trouble.

Our 12-year-old son and 10-year old daughter have mostly Jewish friends. Independently, a couple days apart, they both asked me, “Can we celebrate Hannukah, too?”
To which I replied, “Oh, that’s a good idea. I think you get one present a day for eight days or something. So Mommy would end up buying fewer than half the presents she usually buys for you for Christmas. Our money is tight this year, so that’s a good idea.”
My son said it best … “No, no, no … I mean in addition to Christmas, not instead of Christmas!”

Here’s the good news: There is no Jewish tradition of exchanging gifts on Chanukah. The one-present-a-day thing was invented by American Jewish parents who wanted to stop their kids from being envious of their Christian friends and wanting to celebrate Christmas. The only authentic Jewish tradition on the matter is to give the children a gift of some money; in the most traditional homes this is done on the fifth night, because it’s the only night that never falls on the Sabbath, when money may not be handled. The amount is up to the parents, but it’s probably a lot cheaper than buying them even one present, let alone eight, plus it saves all the time and effort of shopping, wrapping, etc.
The Prime Minister of Israeli sends Christmas Greetings. On college campuses across America, this is regarded as proof that Jews are evil.

No modifying clause questioning whether Jesus really lived or not … he understands that Christians believe in Jesus and he accepts their faith oh so matter-of-factly.
