Hello Professor Jacobson,
Although I live near the planet of Madison, I’m usually able to escape its madness in my happy little suburb.
This, however, ended up in my cul de sac … for the second time. No matter where we go, they are among us.
I am watching with worried eyes.

When they say “Celebrate Diversity,” they don’t include people who don’t think like they do:
Donations tax deductible
to the full extent allowed by law.

Wow, that is quite a collection…….
Quoting a tweet from Twitchy this morning, “The stupid, IT BURNS!”
Yes. They “celebrate diversity” just like EngSoc in “1984”.
Remember…that ol’ totalitarian urge throbs just beneath the facade of civility.
Which is pretty thin, even as facades go.
A so-called Smart car….
So called because…
1. if you are stupid enough to buy one, it smarts
2. if you are in a collision with a Schwinn, it smarts
3. it informs the world what you ain’t got.
“Too poor to vote Republican”?
Perhaps part of the problem is all the money you’re wasting buying stupid bumper stickers.
Funny how those who scream about “celebrating diversity” are the least tolerant of it ~
What they mean by diversity is everyone brings their grandmother’s favorite recipe to the pot luck dinner at the Unitarian Church. Afterwards they all gather around to bash everyone who isn’t as “enlightened” as they are.
“pot luck dinner at the Unitarian Church…bash everyone who isn’t as ‘enlightened’ as they are”
You’ve got that exactly right!
Pot luck dinner? Unitarian Church?
[sniff, sniff]
I smell lots of vegan in the air. Body odor, too.
Seriously, how many “Three Bean Casserole” variations are there?
Nah, Unitarians do bathe–they are, after all, mostly middle class whites–but I can’t fault you too much because they deserve all the mockery anyone can sling at them. Obnoxiously smug fools.
“Too poor to vote Republican”
And yet drives a Smart Car, which is not the choice of people on a limited budget. In fact, the only people I see driving Smart Cars are well-paid white urban hipsters.
The stupid is strong in this one…
What did Obama promise never to engage in?
“WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER” (anymore).
Just like WFB Jr said a few years ago: “For people who urge tolerance e for other views, liberals are amazed there are other views”
This hammerhead proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you don’t necessarily need an Internet connection and an associated electronic devices to… troll.
This muthafu*ker trolls the whole world as he/she/it drives around. I’ll also wager that he/she/it only needs a Smart car because he/she/it has not family, no friends, no pets… just a huge ego and incredible anger.
Mechanics all agree – we should have gone metric years ago. Tool boxes would weigh half as much.
We should standardize everything for the sake of efficiency. All dining out places should be McDonalds. All roads should be square with the world, and connect at right angles with each other. We should all live in the same standardized boxes. We should all speak the same language. We should all wear the same uniform.
I really want that flame thrower that I keep begging my husband to buy for Christmas now.
They’re easier to build than making your own home brewed beer.
Fun and educational for the whole family…
I don’t understand the problem with the “Fiction” bumpersticker. Are you suggesting that the stories and myths that make up the major religions are actually based in fact?
It’s actually true that the “supernatural” stories included in the bible (water to wine, walking on water, parting the sea, etc.) are all fiction. Most religious folks today acknowledge this, and see those stories as moral lessons rather than history…
