Israel Eliminates Hamas Terrorist Behind Abduction of IDF Capt. Daniel Perez on October 7

Hamas terror cell commander Muhammad Na’im Jandiya was “also responsible for holding hostages Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka, and Alon Shamriz in an underground tunnel in the Shuja’iyya Battalion.”

Israel eliminated a Hamas commander who led a terrorist cell on October 7, 2023, abducting a military officer and subsequently holding three other hostages in Gaza terror tunnels.

Muhammad Na’im Jandiya “commanded a Nukhba terrorist cell that infiltrated Kibbutz Nahal Oz and took part in the abduction of Capt. Daniel Perez,” Israel’s i24NEWS reported Friday. He “was also responsible for holding hostages Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka, and Alon Shamriz in an underground tunnel in the Shuja’iyya Battalion.”

Daniel Perez, a 22-year-old IDF tank commander, was murdered by Hamas after heavy fighting at the Nahal Oz military base on October 7, 2023.  Perez and his “crew fought with extraordinary courage for over two hours, holding off waves of Hamas terrorists,” The Times of Israel noted. “Their defense saved countless lives. Tragically, their tank was overrun, and Daniel was taken into captivity.” Hamas returned his body in exchange for convicted terrorists in October 2025.

In December 2023, Yotam Haim (28), Samer Talalka (22), and Alon Shamriz (26) were tragically killed by IDF soldiers, who mistook them for terrorists amid heavy fighting in northern Gaza.

The slain terrorist often featured in Hamas propaganda videos of hostage handover ceremonies. “As part of his senior role in Hamas’ Shuja’iyya Battalion, Jandiya had also recently advanced terrorist attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Friday. “In addition, Jandiya was one of the prominent masked operatives who took part in the Hamas terrorist organization’s hostage release ceremonies conducted as part of the hostage release deals.”

IDF destroys Gaza terror tunnel, busts West Bank terror cell

In related counter-terrorism operations, the IDF destroyed a Hamas tunnel and killed several terrorists in southern Gaza.

“In the Southern Command, underground terror tunnels with a combined length of more than one kilometer were dismantled alongside the ongoing effort to locate and dismantle additional routes, with a focus on the Khan Yunis area,” the IDF revealed on Friday. “In addition, approximately 20 terrorists were struck and eliminated, including terrorists involved in rebuilding Hamas’ military infrastructure (…).”

IDF, backed by intelligence from security services, dismantled a West Bank terror cell, arresting dozens of suspects and seizing weapons and ammunition. “In the Central Command, as part of dozens of operations throughout Judea and Samaria, more than 60 terror suspects were apprehended, including suspects who planned to carry out a terrorist attack, suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, an individual suspected of stone-hurling, and suspects involved in the possession and trafficking of weapons,” the IDF added. “In addition, approximately 162,000 NIS [around $54,000] in terror funds, five UAVs, materials used to manufacture explosive devices, incitement materials, ammunition, and weapons, including pistols and M-16 rifles, were confiscated.

IDF strikes Hezbollah terror targets after ceasefire violations

Following Hezbollah’s attack on Israeli troops on Thursday, the IDF has conducted a series of retaliatory strikes on terror targets in southern Lebanon.

The military announced Friday that “following Hezbollah’s violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli Air Force conducted four precise strikes against terrorists who posed an immediate threat and struck three Hezbollah command centers.”

The Air Force struck “approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the areas of Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Braachit in southern Lebanon.” The targeted sites were being “used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone,” the IDF confirmed.

Previously, a Hezbollah attack in southern Lebanon injured three Israeli soldiers, leaving one severely wounded. “An IDF reservist was severely wounded on Thursday during an altercation with a Hezbollah terrorist in Bint Jbail in southern Lebanon, the military announced on Friday morning,” the Jerusalem Post reported. “The soldier has been evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment, and their family has been notified,” the IDF added.

The attack comes as Hezbollah tries to sabotage a recent ceasefire agreed between Israel and Lebanon. Israel has agreed to begin a partial withdrawal from the buffer zone if Hezbollah is disarmed and the Lebanese military ensures security.

Good. Kill more please.

Recently read that Israeli intelligence has identified more than 2000 people involved in Oct. 7. They are on the kill list. IIRC, about 250 have been killed and all will be eliminated no matter how long it takes…ie. Munich terrorists elimination lasted for 20 years.

Does anyone think that the phony state of Lebanon can control Hezbollah? If they do, they’re smoking and Inhaling.

Wasn’t Jandiya on Mamdani’s short list for head of NYC ‘s Jewish Outreach Project?
