The woman caught on video emptying a trash can on the New York City streets and stealing it after the New York Knicks parade lost her job at JPMorgan Chase.
Angie Báez, 40, served as the Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce at JPMorgan Chase.
Báez, decked out in Knicks gear, emptied the entire orange and blue trash can onto a Manhattan street. She just walked off with it. No one said anything.
Disgusting behavior. One picture showed her smiling and proud with the trash can on the subway.
“Dumping trash onto the street and stealing public property for your own personal use are both illegal, antisocial behaviors, and not what New Yorkers do,” the New York Department of Sanitation told The New York Post. “On top of all that, doing both on camera is incredibly stupid.”
Báez also worked at The Infatuation, a website that reviews restaurants and neighborhoods, which Chase purchased in 2021. From The New York Post:

The woman’s career is literally DEI. She previously held top DEI positions at Squarespace, Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay, and Saks Off 5th.
Báez also “co-founded a queer and black, indigenous and people of color-owned talent agency, Same Page Co.”
