By the way, Trump recognized these 13 Americans who died during military operations:
“We lost 13 wonderful souls… These incredible men and women gave their lives to ensure that the world’s number one state sponsor of terror will never have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said before recognizing the family of Major Ariana Savanah Saville during the Memorial Day event.”Ariana’s selfless gift will not be in vain. Our debt to you is everlasting, and it’s always going to end in victory.”
The “Headquarters” X account, which I think was previously associated with Kamala Harris’s campaign, claimed that Trump fell asleep during the Memorial Day service.
The Democrats have a hard time showing any kind of respect and gratitude towards our armed services.

The Democrats had a decent post in 2025.
Granted, Trump cannot help himself on holidays, using his posts to jab at Democrats and the left. But Trump doesn’t weaponize specific people.
He’s not wrong in that Truth Social post, though.
Trump at least respects the military. Remember what he did on Easter? He hushed the press so he could listen to the Marine band. He loves our service members.
