Indicted Florida Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick Resigns
A grand jury indicted Cherfilus-McCormick for allegedly stealing $5 million from FEMA.
Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) has resigned from Congress, effective immediately, before the House could hold a vote to expel her.
A grand jury indicted Cherfilus-McCormick for allegedly conspiring with her fellow defendants to steal $5 million “through their family health-care company on a FEMA-funded COVID-19 vaccination staffing contract in 2021.”
Cherfilus-McCormick claimed the House Ethics Committee did not allow her new attorney’s request to prepare her defense ahead of a Tuesday hearing.
“Rather than play these political games, I choose to step away so I can devote my time to fighting for my neighbors in Florida’s 20th District,” Cherfilus-McCormick wrote on X. “I hereby resign from the 119th Congress, effective immediately.”
The hearing would have recommended sanctions against Cherfilus-McCormick.
Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) vowed “to file a motion to expel Cherfilus-McCormick.”
Expulsion requires a two-thirds vote. More and more Democrats voiced support for it so it might have happened.

Well that’s a couple of democrats and a republican. Investigate more until all are kicked out, Of course the voters being stupid will just elect more losers.
My philosophy had always been to vote against the incumbent. It takes new reps a while to learn the ropes and begin grifting. After a few years they are acclimated and it’s time to replace them.
Unfortunately I’ve had to replace this philosophy with a vote against the scum sucking bottom dwelling democrat approach. This does amount to the same thing because only democrats win where I live. They win and we lose.
I read Cherfilus as clusterfuck…
They can straighten their hair, dye it blonde and wear the white man’s clothing, but……..

But she is much cuter than any Somalian.
