The postponement is for five days.
President Donald Trump ordered a pause on some strikes on Iran due to some progress:

Two days ago, Trump wasnt attacking vital energy infrastructure. Today he still isn’t. Nothing has changed other than verbal pressure to open the Straits.

How do you know “Trump is falling for it.” Guess what, you don’t. You should know by now that Trump plays by different rules. Everyone can stupidly speculate but at the end of the day no one knows. Maybe Trump is trying to appease all the naysayers out there using last ditch negotiations to shut them up or maybe he isn’t. Taking out infrastructure that is needed later does not transfer power… it just creates misery for the people not in the fight and who have no choice.

Iran has lots of allies in America: The Democrats, the RHINOs, the MSM to name a few. The Europeans are afraid of their own domestic population. For example, nearly one in five Germans has a foreign parent. Islam is taking over Europe, and has already taken over Britain. They need a Charles Martel (aka “The Hammer”) and there is none. In short Europeans no longer believe in themselves and are unwilling to fight. More than that: they welcome their new masters. In my opinion, it looks like a win for Iran. Too much pain for us, and they know it. Of course it doesn’t help to kill the people you need to negotiate with.

Well I’ll wait and see but if this ends as is nothing really much has changed except that Iran’s capabilities have been degraded for a few years, Is that good enough? It depends upon your time frame. In the short term of a couple of years perhaps. In the long term of 5 or more years probably not. Not sure we will ever have another president who would do cut the weeds down. Certainly no democrat and probably no republican.
Maybe we need one more week to deminish Iran’s ability to retaliate? None of us have enough information to know the reasoning.
