Princeton Administrator Outlines University’s Commitment to DEI on Campus

“focusing on how the university can continue to promote DEI on campus”

Have you noticed that a lot of schools are ignoring the rules on this and just doing what they want to do?

Campus Reform reports:

Princeton DEI admin highlights initiatives at university council meeting

A Princeton University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) administrator recently gave a presentation in front of major groups at the university where the administrator outlined the university’s commitment to DEI on campus.

The presentation occurred during a March meeting of the Council of the Princeton University Community. The council is described as a “permanent conference of the representatives of all major groups of the University,” which is dedicated to “raise problems that concern them and … be exposed to each other’s views.”

The presentation revolved around a university report on DEI from the 2024-25 academic year, while focusing on how the university can continue to promote DEI on campus, as reported by The Daily Princetonian.

One of the measures meant to promote DEI that was highlighted during the meeting was how the university recently announced that it will be naming a building on campus in dedication to Princeton graduate and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Another measure that was highlighted during the meeting was Princeton’s “Every Voice” conference. Held in 2024, a university web page for the event states that it was dedicated to “Honoring and celebrating Princeton’s LGBTQ+ Alumni.”

In a list of events on a separate page, events that attendees could attend included one on “Literary Pride,” and another on “Perspectives on Opportunity and Diversity in Private Equity and Venture Capital.”

Other initiatives and programs that Princeton has hosted can also be referenced in the DEI report that the presentation centered on.
