Israeli Air Force Strikes Iran’s IRGC-Linked Oil Facilities

Israeli Air Force Strikes Iran’s IRGC-Linked Oil Facilities

The IDF: Fighter jets “struck several fuel storage complexes used by the military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran.”

The Israeli Air Force destroyed the Iranian Islamic Guard’s (IRGC) oil facilities for the first time as the war entered its ninth day. Fighter jets “struck several fuel storage complexes used by the military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday night.

The overnight strike targeted the Iranian regime’s ability to wage war and finance global terrorism. “The military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime make direct and frequent use of these fuel tanks to operate military infrastructure,” the IDF said. “Through them, the Iranian terrorist regime distributes fuel to various consumers, including military entities in Iran.”

The Israeli armed forces are targeting the regime’s military and terrorist-linked oil infrastructure, without impacting the country’s commercial assets. “This is a significant strike that constitutes an additional step in deepening the damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime,” the statement added.

The Jerusalem Post reports:

IDF sources confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Saturday night that the air force has attacked significant oil resources in the Tehran region of Iran.

According to the sources, the oil resources being attacked are directly connected to Iran’s military industrial complex.

It was unclear what distinctions the IDF would make in such attacks regarding differing oil sites, but there was a clear effort by the sources to emphasize the military nature of the sites, which might otherwise be framed as harming Iran’s economic power more broadly, even if a new regime might later take over.

In the past, senior Israeli sources have told the Post that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has in recent years taken over certain portions of the economy, especially in the oil sector.

Iranian opposition reports indicated that as many as 30 sites might be under attack.

This vector of attack on the Islamic regime’s power is the newest front after prior attacks on air defenses, ballistic missiles, top Iranian leaders, ballistic missile supply chain locations, and regime repression forces.

The Iranian regime’s media confirmed strikes on its oil facilities in the capital. The Associated Press reported “the horizon glowing against the night sky above Tehran” after the strike. According to the BBC, “Witnesses in Tehran captured the aftermath of oil depots being hit by airstrikes as flames and smoke engulfed the surrounding cityscape.”

The strike comes hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an address to the Iranian people, said that the U.S. and Israel had “many surprises” in the offing as the military operation against the regime continues.

“Regarding what will happen next in Iran. We have a well-organized plan and there are many surprises,” Netanyahu assured. “To undermine the regime, to enable change. We have many more goals and I will not list them here. But to the Revolutionary Guards operatives who are suppress the Iranian people in the streets – I will say only this – you are also on the list of targets.”

IDF eliminates ‘key commanders’ of Iran’s IRGC-Quds Force in Beirut strike

The Israeli military eliminated several commanders of the Iranian Islamic Guards’ Quds Forces in a Beirut air strike.

“A short while ago, the IDF conducted a precise strike targeting key commanders in the IRGC’s Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps who operated in Beirut,” the Israeli military revealed Sunday morning. “The commanders of the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps operated to advance terror attacks against the state of Israel and its civilians, while operating simultaneously for the IRGC in Iran.”

“These commanders were working on Lebanese territory to promote terrorist actions against the State of Israel and its citizens, in parallel with the activities of the Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran,” Israel’s i24NEWS noted.

The Qud Force’s Lebanon Corp serves as a link between the Iranian regime and its Lebanese proxy terrorist group Hezbollah. “The Lebanon Corp connects the Hezbollah terrorist organization and the Iranian terror regime, supports Hezbollah force-building, and functions as the connection between senior IRGC personnel and Hezbollah leadership,” the IDF explained.

The strike in the heart of Beirut was carried out with great care “to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munition and aerial surveillance,” the IDF said.

Israel: Three injured in suspected Iranian cluster missile strike

Three civilians were injured in central Israel in an apparent Iranian cluster missile strike. Since war began, Iran has been firing missiles with cluster warheads at Israeli population centers.

“Three people are injured, one of them seriously, at two impact sites in central Israel following Iran’s latest ballistic missile attack, which is suspected to have been a cluster bomb warhead, first responders say,” The Times of Israel reported.

“More than a dozen impact sites were reported across central Israel, police officials say, adding that the spread of the impact sites indicates the Iranian ballistic missile was likely carrying a cluster bomb warhead,” the news website noted.

Nice work.

Clever, only targeting military-related oil assets, not commercial infrastructure.

The IRGC seems to be running the show in Iran unopposed by other regime elements and are now lashing out to strike all sorts of non military targets. Hitting the desalination plant in Bahrain is a brush back pitch by Iran demonstrating their capacity to hit other previously ‘off limits’ targets.

the IRGC must have barracks and training facilities. Target them. Declare every member of the IRGC a target to be eliminated and make good on it.

They do and they are. Though eliminating ‘all’ of the IRGC down to the last private is not a viable option. SR leaders? Sure. Troop concentrations? Sure. Buildings/Facilities? Yep. Equipment in field? Yep. Depots? Absolutely. The sort of purge you call for gonna have to come from the Iranian people.

If we kill enough of them it is possible the Iranian people will take care of the rest. I;m sure they know who they are. Also, we shouldn’t let anyone affiliated with the IRGC into this country (although the democrats and many republicans would given their past histories).

Nice work. Get it done and get out.

@CommoChief

I think you are on spot. The Mulla’s are giving anyone that is supreme leader a dirt nap by the US. The president of Iran has been called weak by the IRGC and the IRGC said they will continue to target other nations. It is time to eliminate the new IRGC leaders

If they wear a uniform or hold an office, just eliminate them.

Burn baby burn.
