Israel Strikes Iran’s Main Weapons Production Facility
Operation Epic Fury (Day 25): The IDF expands air, ground operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon
Israeli fighter jets, on Tuesday, struck Iran’s main weapons production site. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) described the fortified underground site in the central Iranian city of Isfahan as the regime’s “most central explosives production facility.”
The “Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wide-scale wave of strikes, targeting the Iranian regime’s military-industrial production facilities in Isfahan,” the Israeli military announced Tuesday evening. “The IDF confirms that it struck the most central production site for explosive materials in Iran, where the Iranian regime developed and produced explosive materials for various of weapons.”

According to previous media reports, Isfahan, in addition to hosting a nuclear enrichment site, is home to “an advanced weapons-production facility.” Israel targeted the facility during the 12-Day War last June. “This site had previously been targeted during Operation Rising Lion,” the IDF added. “In recent months, activity by the Iranian regime to restore its capabilities at the site was identified.”
As the joint U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran entered its 25th day, the IDF announced that it struck “more than 3,000 Iranian terror regime targets” since the start of the operation. The Israeli Air Forces “continues to strike targets across Iran” and has degraded the “Iranian terror regime’s military systems and capabilities.”
The Israeli Air Forces on Tuesday also “struck dozens of Iranian regime targets using more than 120 munitions, including ballistic missile launching sites, weapons production sites, and air defense systems,” the statement added.

IDF expands air, ground operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon
With the conflict in its fourth week, Israel carried out extensive airstrikes and ground raids against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The IDF struck Hezbollah command posts, eliminated terror fighters, and dismantled supply bridges in southern Lebanon.
Commandos from the elite Golani Brigade and the 810th Mountain Brigade carried out ground operations deep into Lebanon, destroying tunnels and weapons caches, the IDF disclosed Tuesday. The military, in a statement, declared that it was “operating decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in response to its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime.”
The surge in Israeli air and ground operations as the country’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced that the Israeli troops would “control the remaining bridges and the security zone up to the Litani,” a 90-mile river that cuts across southern Lebanon.
According to the Defense Minister, Israel would be setting up a “defensive buffer” in the area after the Lebanese government failed to demilitarize Hezbollah, reneging on the commitment made in the 2024 ceasefire agreement. Reuters reported that this is the “first time Israel’s intent to seize territory amounting to nearly a tenth of Lebanon.”
Since the Operation Epic Fury began over three weeks ago, Hezbollah joined the war on behalf of Iran, launching barrages of drones and missiles at Israeli cities in coordination with Tehran. The measure comes after repeated Israeli warnings. “Katz has previously warned Lebanon’s government it would lose territory if it failed to disarm Hezbollah, the militant group backed by Tehran that drew Lebanon into the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran when it fired into Israel on March 2,” the news agency recalled.
Israeli fighter jets struck Hezbollah terrorist command centers in Beirut and across Lebanon, the IDF disclosed:
In the strikes conducted in Beirut, several Hezbollah headquarters were targeted, including a headquarters of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, from which terrorists operated to advance and execute terror attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians. Additionally, the IDF struck a headquarters of Hezbollah’s intelligence directorate.
In an additional strike in the At Tiri area, the IDF targeted a headquarters of the Radwan Forces unit, which was established inside the radio broadcasting station of the ‘Nur’ Radio. The headquarters was struck while terrorists were operating inside.
The soldiers of the elite Golani Brigade were at the forefront of the expanding ground operation in southern Lebanon. “Troops from the Golani Brigade, under the command of the 36th Division, are continuing targeted ground operations to enhance the forward defense posture in southern Lebanon,” the IDF revealed Tuesday. “During a targeted operation last week, the troops identified armed terrorists in several locations in the area.”
“The troops eliminated eight terrorists in close-quarters encounters with ground forces and with aerial support from the brigade’s fire control center. Among those eliminated was a terrorist belonging to the Radwan Force’s sniper array,” the military added. “During the continued activity, the troops located and dismantled an underground shaft that led to an area from which the terrorists had emerged. Dozens of weapons were found in the shaft, including anti-tank rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, machine guns, and grenades.”

The 810th Mountain Brigade was also operating behind the enemy lines, the IDF disclosed:
Troops of the “Mountains” Brigade (810), under the command of Division 210, are operating in the Lebanese section of the Mt. Dov area, as part of the forward defensive posture.
During a targeted operation, IDF troops located a Hezbollah tunnel shaft. In an additional operation, the troops destroyed a Hezbollah weapons compound.

The IDF in Lebanon also eliminated an Iranian terrorist, belonging to Iran’s Quds Force, the foreign terrorist wing of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). “Yesterday (Monday), the Israeli Navy, acting on ISA [Shin Bet security agency] intelligence, struck in the Beirut area and eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Ali Kourani, a Quds Force terrorist who was advancing terror attacks directed by Iranian intelligence officials,” the IDF announced Tuesday. “Iranian intelligence elements continue to operate and advance terror attacks by directing operatives from within Lebanese territory.” The IDF later identified the slain Quds Force operative as Muhammad Ali Kourani.

The military was targeting Hezbollah’s logistics and fuel supply. “Overnight, the IDF struck another main crossing used by Hezbollah terrorists to maneuver from north to south of the Litani River in Lebanon,” the IDF announced. “Hezbollah used this crossing for transferring weapons, rockets, and launchers with the aim of executing terror attacks against the State of Israel.”
Israel also struck Hezbollah’s oil assets that drive and fund the group’s terrorist operations. “As part of the strikes, fuel stations in various areas of Lebanon were targeted and rendered inoperable. These stations are used by Hezbollah to refuel trucks transporting weapons and operatives,” the Israeli military disclosed. “The fuel stations generate millions of dollars in revenue for Hezbollah, fund its operations, and serve as another example of Hezbollah’s exploitation of Lebanese civilians while operating under civilian cover to advance terrorist activities.”
The IDF completed another wave of strikes across Lebanon targeting fuel stations owned by a Hezbollah front company, Al-Amana. These stations funded Hezbollah and served it to refuel weapons trucks.

I’m expecting the hail Mary from Iran with every passing moment, and WWIII that will result.
Uh no. They like to bluster in the ME and no one more so than sick terror regimes on their last legs. Iran can’t muster anything other than more terror attacks against civilians in neighboring countries or some pathetic banditry in the strait of hormuz. The only world war that would happen if Iran were actually able to permanently impede the free flow of oil would be concerted action against Iran.
They can muster plenty of terror against their own citizens.
If Iran, or any of Israel’s enemies, had a hail Mary, it would have been used already.
Seems to me they should have done this a week or so ago.
One tenet of airpower is that you strike the logistics/resupply train as far back as possible at the beginning of the war. It prevents re-arming and it usually stops a lot of the units (or, in this case, materiel) from even joining the fight.
My thoughts
GWB: “Seems to me they should have done this a week or so ago.”
They did!

Imagine how frustrating it must be to have a nation (Israel) that you hate at the molecular level kicking your bee-hind so thoroughly and completely that your new leader is a gay mullah (assuming that he hasn’t achieved room temperature, that is), and therefore someone the previous leadership would have thrown off a roof.
Hats off to Israel for the intelligence and military prowess they have demonstrated recently. They are absolutely amazing.
Hasn’t the new mullah transitioned a second time to become an ex-mullah?
He received long distance transition surgery. I think it was successful.
This has been happening repeatedly since 1948. They keep losing. But like cockroaches, the Muslims keep coming back for more. It’s due in no small part to the food left out overnight by European “allies” in the form of money and diplomatic support. But also the US, has never allowed Israel to deliver the death blow, which it could have done in 1967 and 1973 (and in 2025 in Gaza). These cockroaches prefer death to surrender. They will not give up until a nuclear bomb has every been dropped on them or until Israel has destroyed Tehran and Beirut the way the Allies destroyed Dresden and Tokyo.
Delete “every”
hopefully israel is using and will use more of the drones strategy and also start investing into tracing the supply line of weapons feeding into turk,,I mean iran
I am thankful that the Israelis seem to fully understand and appreciate what is at stake here, and that know that the job needs to be completed. Half-measures will not suffice.
“Israel also struck Hezbollah’s oil assets that drive and fund the group’s terrorist operations.” Omar, Tlaib and Cotez must all be furious.
