Israel Hunts for IRGC, Quds Operatives as Op Epic Fury Enters Third Week

The Israeli Air Force is hunting down commanders and fighters of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Quds Force as the joint U.S.-Israel military operation enters its third week.

“Over 6,000 members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been killed, and about 15,000 have been wounded since the start of Operations Roaring Lion and Epic Fury,” the Jerusalem Post reported Sunday. “The official added that the “hunting” and targeted eliminations of senior regime figures have led to significant pressure and confusion for those in leadership positions.”

Senior Fox News correspondent, Trey Yingst, revealed that Israel’s security services have placed key operatives of Iran’s Quds Force on a hit list. Since the military operation began two weeks ago, seven top Quds Force commanders have been eliminated in Iran and abroad, he confirmed. The IRGC’s Quds Force is Iran’s shadow terrorist army operating across the Middle East.

Fox News reported Sunday:

Israeli intelligence has opened what they are calling the “Quds file,” an effort to systematically target Iran’s Quds force and infrastructure across the Middle East, a senior Israeli Security official told Fox News. The official said Israel has taken out seven Iranian senior officials in Lebanon, while destroying 17 of the Quds force air fleet, which is used to transport weapons and components to proxies like Hezbollah, Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst reported.“We destroyed almost all of the Quds force’s fleet,” the Israeli official said. “Until now 17 out of 20 cargo planes, and we will reach them all. They won’t be flying anywhere anytime soon.”The official added that Israel also struck the main Quds force headquarters in Tehran “with many Quds forces operatives in it.”

Israeli targeting of the IRGC’s rank and file has demoralised the regime’s loyalist fighting force. Members of the IRGC’s Basij militia, tasked with crushing anti-regime protests, were refusing to show up for duty following Israeli strikes on their checkpoints and facilities across Tehran.

Quoting eyewitnesses, the Jerusalem Post reported that the “number of Basij members who have failed to report to their posts out of fear of being targeted has increased in recent days.” A Basij commander released an audio message, “urg[ing] them not to panic during attacks by Israeli drones and not to abandon their posts,” the newspaper added.

Operation Epic Fury Update: Day 15

As the operation Epic Fury entered its 15th day, the U.S. armed forces and the IDF continue to degrade Iran’s military and terrorist capabilities.

“The IDF continues to strike the ballistic missile and UAV arrays of the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran,” the Israeli military disclosed on Sunday. “As part of this effort, an Israeli Air Force aircraft, acting on precise and real-time IDF intelligence, identified a UAV launch cell operating from a hangar located within a UAV launch site in western Iran.”

With Hezbollah launching coordinated drone and rocket barrages at Israel, the Israeli Air Force persisted with strikes on terrorist targets across Lebanon. “As part of the strikes, the IDF struck several Hezbollah launch sites in the Al-Qatrani area, from which Hezbollah terrorists planned to launch rockets imminently,” the Israeli military announced on Sunday. “Additionally, the IDF struck and dismantled Hezbollah’s ‘Radwan Force’ command centers in Beirut, from which Hezbollah terrorists advanced terror attacks against the State of Israel and Israeli civilians.”
