Hegseth: Trump Admin Targeted Three Parts of Iran to Disable Nuclear Capabilities
“Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have nuclear weapons.”
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth explained that the Trump administration’s main objective in Operation Epic Fury is to ensure Iran will never have nuclear weapons.
“For 47 long years, the expansionist and Islamist regime in Tehran has waged a savage, one sided war against America,” Hegseth reminded everyone. “They didn’t always declare it openly, except for their constant chance of death to America. They did it through the blood of our people, car bombs in Beirut, rocket attacks on our ships, murders at our embassies, roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan, funded and armed by Iranian Quds Force and IRGC killers.”
Hegseth added: “We didn’t start this war, but under President Trump, we are finishing it.”
Therefore, Iran should never have nuclear weapons.
To make that happen, the administration targeted three parts of Iran.
“The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused,” said Hegseth. “Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have nuclear weapons.”

Hegseth stressed that the regime had every chance to make a deal with America after Operation Midnight Hammer destroyed Iran’s nuclear program:
We said, rebuild it and we’ll stop you again, this time, far worse.
Well, President Trump, Secretary Rubio, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, they bent over backwards for real diplomacy, offering pathway after pathway to peace. I watched it. I was there. They tried, over and over and over again, earnest attempts at peace.
The former regime had every chance to make a peaceful and sensible deal, but Tehran was not negotiating. They were stalling, buying time to reload their missile stockpiles and restart their nuclear ambitions, their goal hold us hostage, threatening to strike our forces.
Well, President Trump doesn’t play those games. And as Secretary Rubio said after the Maduro raid, if you don’t know now, you know, President Trump puts America and Americans first. He doesn’t hesitate, and neither do our troops.
“If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on Earth, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation, and we will kill you,” Hegseth warned other terrorist groups and regimes.

“President Trump has also been very consistent crazy regimes like Iran, hell bent on prophetic Islamist delusions,” Hegseth added. “[They] cannot have nuclear weapons.”
Hegseth pointed out that “Iran was building powerful missiles and drones to create a conventional shield for their nuclear blackmail ambitions.”
Those dangers put America and our allies in danger.
“Iran had a conventional gun to out as they tried to lie their way to a nuclear bomb,” said Hegseth.
Hegseth also reiterated that the operation is not a regime change, even though it led to the death of the ayatollah.
It’s just an added bonus.
“Turns out the regime who chanted Death to America and death to Israel was gifted death from America and death from Israel,” boasted Hegseth. “This is not a so called regime change war, but the regime sure did change, and the world is better off for it.”

Reminds me of that bonehead Islamist phrase; those who bless Iran will be blessed, those who curse Iran will be cursed
post haste
I must admit that while I am unhappy about the possibility of the United States getting bogged down in another endless middle-eastern war, that the reduction of Iran is decades past due. This had to be done sooner or later and I cannot imagine that waiting would have provided improved circumstances. The Russians are bogged down in the Ukraine and can’t afford to provide aid and assistance, and China is currently in an internal power struggle. They will not intervene in any serious way.
For those who object to this action, I ask them to ponder the internet meme of a cartoon dog sitting at a table in a burning room saying, “This is fine.”
No, things have not been fine, and sending pallets of cash didn’t change anything.
those possibilities always exist ( getting bogged down)
but face it
we have been bogged down with the terror they fester non stop 24/7/365
the real problem is the gop not having stopped the lefty onslaught in the usa
and the laws that have promoted the affrimaction equity debacle that truly boggs us down into financial submission
Dominos, how do they fall?
I see this as the inevitable outcome of Hamas and Ukraine. Both were strategic blunders. Now the bill is coming due. Ukraine badly weakened and distracted Russia. Hamas damaged Iran. Both led to Maduro falling. Now Iran. Next, because Maduro is gone, Cuba will fall.
Four evil regimes will fall in the next three years. Maybe 5 – If China invades Taiwan they will fall as well.
Evil regimes only seem powerful – they are often quite brittle. All it takes is someone with the gumption to challenge them.
No one will help Iran, and no one is going to be too sad about their demise. And as each of these countries fall, the remaining evil countries get weaker still.
Dems:
But this is going to waste alllll the money obama and biden sent them
I approve of the 4 goals stated. There are relatively modest in my opinion and shouldn’t involve boots on the ground.
I’ll bet the remaining Supreme Ayatollahs are busy insisting that the other guy become the new supreme leader of Iran, not them. They’re just not quite ready for all that responsibility.
