CNN Deletes Sympathetic Post About Alleged New York City Bombers

Those “two Pennsylvania teenagers” found themselves entangled in a mess with dangerous IEDs.

Holy moly.

Someone at CNN didn’t think before hitting publish on an X post about the two alleged New York City bombers.

Those poor “two Pennsylvania teenagers” who just happened to be in New York City outside of Gracie Mansion during an anti-Islam protest.

The publisher also framed the story as though the suspects meant to harm Mayor Zohran Mamdani with the bombs.

Those “two Pennsylvania teenagers” found themselves entangled in a mess with dangerous IEDs.

I do not know how long CNN let the post stay on X.

But the network deleted the post around 10 AM EST.

You think!?

These “two Pennsylvania teenagers” obviously had plans to do something terrible, whether they meant to attack the protest outside Mamdani’s home or somewhere else.

Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, face five charges, including Attempted Provision of Material Support and Resources to a Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.

How long were they gone? Kuyami’s mother filed a missing persons report on March 7.

The NYPD confirmed the device was a functioning IED. News 12 New York reported, “The devices, which were a bit smaller than a football, appeared to be a jar wrapped in black tape, importantly, with nuts, bolts, and screws, along with a hobby fuse that could be lit.”

“At the protest, at approximately 12:15 p.m., an individual later identified as EMIR BALAT, the defendant, ignited and threw an item (“Device-1”) toward the area where the protesters were gathered,” FBI Special Agent Jennifer Gioia wrote in the complaint. “Immediately after throwing Device-1, BALAT ran to another location down the block and received a second item (“Device-2,” and collectively with Device-1, the “Devices”) from an individual later identified as IBRAHIM KAYUMI, the defendant.”

Gioia explained that Balat activated the second device “near where several NYPD officers were standing, ran away from the NYPD officers, and jumped over a barricade. He was tackled and arrested by NYPD officers shortly thereafter.”

One device tested positive with TATP (triaceton triperoxide), which Gioia said is known as the “Mother of Satan.”

Gioia explained that TATP “is extremely sensitive to impact, friction, and heat; and has been used in multiple terrorist attacks over the last decade.”

While in the police car, unprovoked, Balat said, “this isn’t a religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed name of the prophet . . . We take action! We take action!”; and “if I didn’t do it someone else will come and do it.”

Once at the station, Balat told the police he wanted to accomplish something “bigger” than the Boston Marathon bombing because those terrorists only killed three people.

Balat also pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Kuyami admitted he watched ISIS propaganda and that the terrorist group inspired him.

Police discovered a car that they believe the two suspects used since it’s registered to a family member of Balat.

The evidence added suspicion that the suspects had planned an attack for some time:

From inside Vehicle-1, law enforcement agents recovered a coiled green material consistent in appearance with hobby fuse, an empty metal can of the same approximate dimensions and appearance as the can recovered from inside Device 1, and a notebook containing handwritten notes.

One page of the notebook contains the note “TATP explosive”; another page contains a list of chemical ingredients, including “hydrogen peroxide,” “sulfuric acid,” and “acetone”; and a third page contains a list of components and quantities, such as “aluminum can x6,” and “a box of bolts ect [sic] 2x.” Based on my training and experience, I believe that these notes are a reference to materials that could be used to build explosive devices like the one that BALAT and KAYUMI used on or about March 7, 2026.

Wow just like with stories about the holiest of holy : Palestinians. Violent things just seem to happen to these wacky kids who just wanted to enjoy the sunshine with their homemade explosive devices. It’s never their fault or premeditated or for some evil violent intent ; just got swept away by the sunshine is all.

I was at my girlfriend’s house, last night. She is a hard-core Dhimmi-crat. After we had watched a few episodes of the Amazon-produced, Korean spy action-thriller, “Butterfly,” her YouTube channel feed popped up, filled with leftist/Dhimmi-crat propaganda channels.

I observed the following program blurbs, on her YouTube television screen:

The “Meidas” channel or whatever it’s called, run by some Dhimmi-crat law professor, featured a histrionic and utterly dishonest headline, screaming something to the effect of, “Trump surrenders to Iran, after meeting with Putin.”

There was a blurb for the Seth Myers show, stating something to the effect of, “Iran war causes gas prices to spike to their highest levels, ever.”

CNN had a blurb claiming that a U.S. Tomahawk missile had hit a girls’ school and killed hundreds; an utterly dishonest propaganda lie, addressed and debunked in a PowerLine blog post, yesterday.

The vile Dhimmi-crat/Islamofascist media propagandists/shills/trained seals/lapdogs/stenographers are nothing if not entirely predictable, in their contemptible antics.

I can’t with my wife. She’s not completely unhinged, but she tends to think the Dems of today are the ones from the 1980s, even when I give her specific examples of crazy, dishonest crap they are doing. “La la la I can’t hear you Orange Man Bad!”

That’s the only thing my wife and I don’t talk too much about. We’re mostly on board with a lot of issues, because we’re critical thinkers, but there are some political topics she talks about that I just nod and say nothing.

Because I believe in this mantra: Even if I prove her wrong, what good would it do?

Married 23 years, never had a blown out fight about politics, ever.

I’ve lost friends and been distanced from family because of politics and I’m a moderate. Progressives can’t tolerate anyone who doesn’t agree. Frankly I can no longer tolerate most progressives because they have little self-awareness or ability to questions the assumptions they make. You can’t have a discussion on any level with them because they can’t even recognize any commonality or agreed upon aspects of a complex controversial issue. I walk on egg shells around those that remain and it
is them that bring up political issues nowadays and not me,

I never bring up politics with her, out of tact/detente, certainly. I did explain to her, several times, my philosophical rationales for being a conservative and Trump-supporter, because I believe that she had a right to know why my political loyalties are what they are, and, how I arrived at them.

On the other hand, she still brings up the latest nonsensical propaganda turd droppings from John Oliver, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, etc., which occasionally I rebut, but, as it isn’t worth the aggravation and hassle, I usually just ignore, with silence, LOL.

Of your brief list of pundits they’re all bad but Oliver is the worse. What would I want to be lectured to by someone whose ancestors we essentially kicked out over 225+ years ago.

It sure sounds like the theatre of the stupid… but not a whole lot worse than the 200+ stupid Republican fundraising tweets I have to delete from my phone and my computers EVERY DAMN DAY.

“Don’t you WANT y0ur $2,000 DOGE check from Trump?”
“Pete Hegseth personally requested YOUR patriot file!”
“You’re the LAST person in AZ who hasn’t finished our survey!”
“You’re making a huge mistake continuing to ignore us like this, OBAMA just crept out of retirement!”
“We’ll stop texting once you sign!”
    And my favorite…
“Sick & tired of the non-stop SPAM of absurd political texts?”

It’s really demoralizing to see proof every day that the leadership of “your” side considers you (their voter) just as retarded as you consider voters on the “wrong” side.

Girlfriend. “She is a hard-core Dhimmi-crat.” Not wife.

Number 2 in the Bro Code is ‘never stick your rodney into crazy.’

    DUMP HER. NOW.

Do not be unequally yoked. It ain’t worth it. Any woman can give you good loving. Find one walking the same direction on the same path with you. That good loving will grow even better.

2 cents. Free advice. Butting out.

Respectfully, you don’t know my girlfriend, and, I don’t put ideological litmus tests on people. That’s a leftist/Maoist/Marxist/Dhimmi-crat trait, not a conservative one, in my opinion.

She’s a kind, decent and loving person, who’s had a hard life, is a cancer survivor and suffers from bipolar disorder, depression and other ailments.

I find value in her and I enjoy being with her, and I’ll leave it at that.

I’m sorry in advance, because I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this will end BADLY. Read carefully and consider, because I am YOU, 25 years in your future.

You will have several years that are acceptable, where you live in quiet peace, and you will build something that supports you that you love while she figures out what she wants to be when she grows up, and accomplishes that. You will put down supports, start a family, begin to become prosperous.

Then there WILL come a day when she realizes that what she has chosen to be conflicts with her personality, morals, ethics or other character traits and she will fall to the fallacy of “magical new place will make everything better.” And she will come to you and ask you for something so horrifically unreasonable that you WILL say no. You will tell her over and over again that she does NOT know what she is asking of you, that what you would have to do is burn everything you have spent tens of thousands of hours building to the ground and start from ZERO. And you WILL fight about it. For months. Potentially years. Until she says something like “I am so depressed with my career where I am that I am becoming suicidal.”

And you will relent, because you love your wife, and want her to be happy. You will tell her that you will support her decisions, her actions, and will make it work. She will be overjoyed, and she will make you a promise that she knows how much of a hardship this will be on you and she “will do anything to make it up to you.” You will tell her that you have no idea what making it up to you looks like, but you will figure it out as you go along.

You will burn everything you have built to the ground and start from scratch. You will be unhappy for YEARS, figuring out what you need to be made whole. She will still not be “happy” but will be marginally less vocal about it, and you will stop talking about it with her. You will eventually figure out what you need, being stressed and taxed and trying (and largely failing) to succeed to the level you were BEFORE she asked this of you. You will then finally figure out what you need and you will tell her “this is what I need to be made whole, from what you said you would do anything to make it up to me.”

And she will say “NO.” She will gaslight you about the reasons for that no. She will shame you about what you are asking for. She will say “you know I didn’t mean THAT” (regardless of what it happens to be). Then she will say “I shouldn’t be required to make good on my word because moving is what spouses DO for each other, and you should have done it anyway because of our relationship.

And you will remind her exactly what it COST you to do what she asked of you. And she will downplay it, and say “It wasn’t really THAT bad.” When you remind her that you told her EXACTLY what was going to happen, exactly what it was going to cost you, and how BADLY it would hurt you, she WILL say “I thought you were just being pessimistic, I really BELIEVED you could do it easier than you were presenting, because I believed in you.”

And at that point, YOU WILL BREAK. You will say “I am entitled to have whatever it is that I am owed by the agreement I made ALL THOSE YEARS AGO, and have suffered for, in order to provide her the basis for the happiness that she said she needed. She will again say “No. I won’t.”

And you WILL then go and get whatever that thing you are owed is from someone else. And it WLL end your marriage (maybe not immediately, but eventually).

Take it from ME. who is 25 years in your future, this IS, without fail, how it will play out.

The lefty ‘news’ echo chamber is pretty spectacular and once seen can’t be unseen. This is part of the reason the leftist wokiestas flipped out over Musk buying Twitter and restoring free speech (for the most part). The EU and the UK are hell bent on applying their ‘hurt feelings speech codes’ in an extraterritorial way. The same way the overlapping cabal of leftist wokiestas here in the USA tried to restrict speech, curate the ‘news’ and push ideological agenda ridden narratives. It’s why the globalists, neocons and corporatists are allied to destroy and denigrate alternative media. Data Republican had a good thread on X describing how the establishment, including the GoP establishment, also engage in this sort of dishonest propaganda framing to defeat efforts at real reforms to preserve the status quo.

The tweet was just the first paragraph of the article, so this was no mistake by the 20-something Social Media intern, this was the exact message that the author and editor intended. The article was later amended.
