Outrage After Churchill Statue in Parliament Square Defaced With Antisemitic Messages

Like their woke counterparts in the United States, leftist agitators in the United Kingdom love to deface statues of historical figures to try to get whatever warped point they’re trying to make out there.

Statues of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill have been frequent targets of their ire, as we saw during the 2020 George Floyd protests and riots, for instance, when the Churchill statue in Parliament Square was repeatedly defaced.

On Friday, it happened again, where antisemitic messages were sprayed on both the statue itself and its base by an agitator connected with the anti-Israel group Palestine Action:

London police said they caught a vandal red-handed — or at least with red paint — after he defaced a statue Friday of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in central London with pro-Palestinian graffiti.

The 38-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage for allegedly painting “Zionist war criminal” on the plinth beneath the 12-foot statute of Churchill leaning on a cane that faces Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the Metropolitan Police said.

“Stop the Genocide” and “Free Palestine” were also painted in red on the bronze sculpture.

“Globalize the intifada” was also spray-painted onto the statue’s base:

Dutch group Free the Filton 24 claimed responsibility for the action on Friday morning, posting a video on its Instagram account appearing to show a man defacing the statue.

The group defines itself as “family and friends” of the Palestine Action activists who were charged over a break-in at one of Israel-based defence firm Elbit’s UK sites in 2024.

Responding to the attack, a Home Office spokesperson said: “Sir Winston Churchill is a figure of great national pride. The vile vandals defacing this statue are a disgrace.”

The condemnations were swift:

Fortunately, the statue and base have since been cleaned, but that doesn’t mean it will stop the vandals/agitators from doing it again:

Leftist fascists don’t really care for Churchill all that much.

Come to think of it neither do the leftist communists or islamists. Sometimes hard to tell the difference between the different variations of leftist crazy these days.

The Left has never forgiven Churchill for working to defeating their hero Schicklgruber and stopping the killing of the Jews.

Churchill also opposed the Soviet Union takeover of east Europe after WWII (he called it the “Iron Curtain”), which is another reason for the Left to hate him.

This is what happens when you are an ahistorical moron who consumes endless propoganda from Chinese run TicToc. The idiocy of fighting to end your own freedoms by supporting an Islamist regime that hates women, and is violent towards anyone who doesn’t parcatice their particular brand of Islam is just so beyond stupid. Just try being Kurdish in most of the middle east or Coptic Christian or Druzd or Yazidi, and then see how cool it is globalize the intifada. You can’t have pink and blue hair in Iran and run around half naked with your transgender partner. If you want your debauchary and lunacy then defend it, you stupid idiots; don’t cheer on those who call it haram. If someone attacked England today would there even be any young people who would stand up and defend her? Or would they applaud their new masters while surrendering their freedom?

    I disagree a bit. While it is true that some support the Islamofascists because of TikTok and other Communist media outlets, many are convinced the rise of an Islamist sh*thole in the UK would give them power.

    Gender Studies college students and their professors, Hollywood glitterati, frigid AWFLs, mentally-ill DIDs (Dudes In Dresses), etc need someone to tell them what to think – which is why TikTok is as necessary for them as breathing. But the rest are enemy combatants looking for their share of the spoils.

      Sure some are being strategic but I do think many are just emotionally driven by a need to feel virtuous and a lack of identity. They are told there is no good and evil just moral equivalence so they can’t even understand evil when they see it.

      When I was in grade school, I was always bothered by the Founders’ casual disenfranchising of people who weren’t white, property-owning males. Now that I’m a geezer and had more experience with the statistical behaviors and attitudes of demographic groups towards liberty, independence, nd self-governance, I belatedly appreciate their wisdom.
