ICE Shows Up in Michelle Wu’s Neighborhood on Day She Signed Anti-ICE EO

Like elected Democrat officials in other parts of the country, including Chicago, New York, and California, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (D) continues to do her part in standing with criminal illegal immigrants over American citizens, something we’ve repeatedly seen from Wu, including when she compared ICE to Nazis.

“I don’t know of any police department that routinely wears masks. We know that there are other groups that routinely wear masks. NSC-131 routinely wears masks,” Wu said in June 2025 while speaking to reporters.

Last Thursday, Wu, joined by other nearby mayors, announced she had signed an executive order that she hoped would severely curtail ICE operations in Beantown:

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu on Thursday issued an executive order that she says is designed to protect residents “from unconstitutional and violent federal operations.”

Specifically, the order says federal agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement can’t use city property “as an unpermitted staging area, processing location, operations base, or any similar purpose in furtherance of civil immigration enforcement operations.” It also says Boston will investigate “criminal conduct by federal officials,” and release surveillance footage of violence or property damage by federal agents.

“Our actions today are informed by what we’ve all seen over the past few weeks in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Lewiston and Portland,” Wu said, referencing federal operations in Minnesota and Maine. “We will hold accountable anyone who commits violence, property damage or any criminal conduct in the city of Boston, including federal officials.”

I just signed an executive order instructing @boston.gov departments to take a range of actions to protect our residents and make clear that we will hold anyone accountable who commits violence, property damage, or any criminal conduct in the City of Boston—including federal officials.

On the same day, however, ICE paid Wu’s Roslindale neighborhood a visit – and promptly nabbed an illegal immigrant:

Neighbors described seeing two unmarked Ford Explorers circling Roslindale Square before calling a hotline that tracks ICE sightings.

The ICE operation unfolded across the street from a bilingual childcare center and in view of minority owned businesses in Roslindale Square.

“How are people in this community supposed to feel in any way safer? You’re taking one of our neighbors and leaving their car running on the street,” said neighbor Amy Littlefield.

City Councilor Enrique Pepén told Boston 25 News he witnessed the aftermath of the ICE operation and referred to it as an “abduction”.

Here’s the video report on what happened (note: Wu’s order doesn’t “ban” ICE from operating in the city):

If this executive order is like any other action Wu has taken against ICE since President Trump’s second term started, she can look for immigration enforcement activity to be ramped up in Boston and surrounding areas to prove a point that ICE is not going to be stopped from doing its job by a woke mayor.

ICE is not going to be stopped by some deranged CommieLib Democrat. She is simply one more proof that the Democrat party of the recent past is dead. It can not be fixed, resurrected or reformed. As it dies it is lurching leftward into madness as fast as it can go. Keep going. There is a big deep body of water far enough west called the Pacific Ocean that can hold all of you with ease.

Woo hoo, ICE!
Boo ho, Wu.

The proud Latino Manager of laughingstock, Worcester, MA, the second largest city in New England, issued a copycat order.

DHS responded that it was legally illiterate.

Dear Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (D), we are aware of your recent executive order regarding ICE operations in the sanctuary City of Boston. We checked and found that Boston receives significant federal assistance, which the city depends on. Sure would be a darn shame to have that dry up, all because of you and your woke politics (think of the beating Harvard) has taken, now wouldn’t it? You might want to reconsider your words, because words are important, and ill-spoken words can have drastic consequences. And, there is little to nothing Lizzie Warren can do to help you keep your gravy train.

Cheers! The various departments and branches of the Federal Government

Don’t care. Take them all. Sit by city hall and when you spot an illegal take them right in front of that insufferable bitch.

Wu demonstrates that not all AWFULs are white.

Chairman Wu will not be happy! Arrogant leftist loon.

This is what I voted for.

Was that a banana peel she slipped on and fell on her ass? No… it was ICE.

Wu is a DEI clown (more check marks than a to do list) who hasn’t the slightest idea how to keep the citizens that (supposedly) elected her safe from violent crime. Her EO is nothing but virtue signaling and certainly of no effect. Federal law enforcement would ignore it if necessary and the BPD would just laugh at the mayor if she told them to arrest any Feds that disobeyef her order. She’s a joke. A woke joke.

“How are people in this community supposed to feel in any way safer? You’re taking one of our neighbors and leaving their car running on the street,”

I’m going out on a limb here to suggest that the person nabbed by
ICE is not only an illegal alien, but is also a fugitive from justice wanted for a violent crime.

And if past experience is any indication, that violence was perpetrated against a woman. That’s how your community is made safer, you vacuous moron.

I must, however, call out ICE for not shutting the car off. That’s a waste of fuel.

This AWFUL should STFU and mind her own business.

I’m beginning to think that the 19th amendment was a huge mistake. There’s no room in the law or its enforcement for emotion, which, to my considerable disappointment, seems to be the only thing that women base their beliefs upon.

While i agree with everything you say here, especially about the police laughing, they unfortunately led by a cast of woke DEI appointments by the Mayor, and will do her bidding, crime committed by illegals be damned. That is why I left Boston for the lovely red state of florida where Ice grabs illegals without interference by AWFULs, because few live here. And while I agree that the 19th amendment should be repealed, that repeal should be limited to the awfuls among us, wherever they are. Instead of repeal, how about a simple American history test requirement before voter registration? That would weed out a whole lot of unnecessary and unintelligent voters, not just women.

Illegal aliens shouldn’t feel safe. In fact, they should be booking flights back to wherever they came before they’re processed here and denied application for citizenship in the future.

Boo-hoo-Wu needs to put on her big boy pants and cooperate with ICE.

Apparently, Wu thinks at least some portions of Boston have seceded from the Union.

Amy, that’s just it, they are not your neighbors in the sense that I think you mean. If the situations were reversed, those “neighbors” would not be out protesting, they wouldn’t give a rat’s ass.

Cool. She does know that Boston is a coastal city and well within the 100 mile border enforcement zone? ICE/CBP can conduct warrantless stops of vehicles or vessels, they can enter a bus or train. They can set up permanent or temporary checkpoints along roadways to briefly detain ask questions and review the proof of lawful stats that every alien granted permission to be in the USA is required to carry and present for inspection upon demand. That traffic jam for commuter arteries, rail lines, along bridges, tunnels and ferry gonna be long.

The city doesn’t have to let federal agents use its property. That’s fine, it just means they’ll use the streets instead, thus causing more traffic problems. They were trying to do you a favor by staging in parking lots and such areas, where they were not being a nuisance, but if you insist then fine, the streets it is.

And the city is free to “investigate” federal agents all it likes. If it comes across any actual wrongdoing, it can contact their superiors who I’m sure will take appropriate action. The last thing they want is to have their agents abusing their authority for their own advantage. But that’s all the city can do. If it tries to file charges against a federal agent for his actions in the course of his duty, the charges will be transferred to federal court and there dismissed.

Excellent point. Ive been stopped on the stretch o I 5 as it passes though Camp Pendleton in a CBP check. Aggravating, but better than the invasion that would oherwise happen.

If you’re an illegal alien, you’re not supposed to feel safe.

They should have paid the illegal to bust into Wu’s garage before the money shot.

Park a full fuel tanker with “I support ICE/Deport Illegals, Arrest Rioters” painted on it in front of Wu’s house on the public street. Then just walk away.

Yes, Boston is within the 100 mile border zone. So the Feds can do anything they want on the street.

It would be super entertaining to have ~1000 ICE agents show up at the Fanueil Hall and Freedom Trail *National Parks* right in downtown. Each one wearing a tri-cornered hat. Then walk to various places doing inspections. Extra credit for a fife and drum accompaniment. The Boston Garden is a few minutes walk, as is the Mass. State House, and Boston City Hall. Charlestown Navy Yard is right there, and the North End.

It would be ten types of awesome if a few thousands Feds walked the three tunnels over to Logan, interviewing every person in every car or truck. The mayor would be wicked pissed. Then interview everybody at Logan.

I would lend ICE my original 1760s Brown Bess as a prop if I could get a picture of ICE marching with it in downtown Boston.

Be sure to use the Brogan decision good and hard. Arrest everybody that says something like “You can’t arrest me!”. Start with every city and state official that gets in the way — including the Mass State Police. Use an MBTA train (or ten) as a detention facility: when it fills up, send it to Wachusett for processing. Better yet use the purple line to Worcester. Use the Worcester Auditorium a processing center. There is housing at Fort Devens for those that cannot make bail.

Cannot get the trains to run? Use Boston Harbor Islands National Park as a staging area. Anybody protesting outside in Boston is already self-selected for cold tolerance and physical fitness. Provide MREs and tents, but let them all understand they will be detained for a few months.

“ICE agents show up at the Fanueil Hall and Freedom Trail *National Parks*”

When our state gun owners’ organization was holding protests at the statehouse, I used to enjoy greeting tourists hiking the Freedom Trail with, “Welcome to the final stop on the Freedom Trail! This is the Massachusetts Statehouse, where your freedom ends!”

@command liner

Have the USNS Comfort dock next to Old Ironsides to take processed illegals and ship them south..

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Also,
How are people in this community supposed to feel in any way safer?
Well, by desiring the law be upheld. Used to be a virtue in America, being “law-abiding.”

ICE should take the video and add “Like a good neighbor, ICE agents are there” slightly varying the state farm jingle.

I think it is quite interesting that Boston is the 1st city to stand up and “secede” out o English rule as George Three began to clamp down on the liberties and normal commrce in that city. Startin with the “tea rio” when the customsmaster demanded the ship’s owners on the three ships carryihg tea out o England pay the duties on the tea in their ships, which tea those ship’s owners did NOT own…. he vessels were essentially commandeered by the customs agents. Later we have he events on 19 April 1775, Boston were the centre and origin o the militias that went out to stop the Brit commandeering arms and other necessary stoxes.

This Wi critter would do well to read herselph some history.
