All Federal Agents in Minneapolis Will Wear Body Cameras

All Federal Agents in Minneapolis Will Wear Body Cameras

I’m shocked they didn’t have them in Minneapolis.

Why didn’t anyone budget for this?

It turns out that not every federal agent Minneapolis has a body camera.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem is changing that:

I just spoke with @RealTomHoman @ICEDirector @CBPCommissioner. Effective immediately we are deploying body cameras to every officer in the field in Minneapolis.

As funding is available, the body camera program will be expanded nationwide. We will rapidly acquire and deploy body cameras to DHS law enforcement across the country.

The most transparent administration in American history—thank you @POTUS Trump.

After the Renee Good shooting, we found out that ICE sent out body cameras to agents in select cities in 2024.

ICE did not choose Minneapolis at that time.

You would think after the BLM riots in 2020 that the feds would put Minneapolis on the list.

Body cameras received bipartisan support on the Hill during the spending fight.

President Donald Trump suppots Noem’s decision.

The left thought they had a real winner with body cams. “Now we’ll be able to show the world how racist and generally brutal these cops are.”

They missed the mark on that one.

They should publish video of the violent agitators. Crowdsource identification of persons violating the law.

Body cam owns are responsible for some of the best video moments in recent memory. Thank you, Black Lives Matter.

NavyMustang in reply to fscarn. | February 3, 2026 at 11:17 am

Exactly. I was a beat cop in Honolulu. We didn’t have body cams when I was on the force, but I would have been happy to wear one. The a-hole count is high out there on the streets…and it’s not the cops.

if I were on the ground and they didn’t issue me one, I’d be buying one and carrying on my own dime. make that 10 cameras. I’d have a damn drone filming above me too.

No effing way would I let those leftists have a monopoly on what video evidence shows up for review after an incident.

    Understanding Minneapolis

What we see happening in Minneapolis is an old and effective tactic from the communist playbook with a few updates. It was used by Martin Luther King in the 1960s and by left-wing labor unions in the 1920s and 1930s. The tactic is called direct action. And it goes like this:

1, Get people into the streets with a grievance real or imagined. To cause maximum disruption, ensure that demonstrators don’t have a permit.

2, Police or counter protesters clash causing deaths and/or injuries.

3, A sympathetic media, reports that either the police, local and federal, or counterdemonstrators are responsible. for the deaths, injuries and property damage.

4, A demand is made to support the cause of the demonstrators. In the case of Minneapolis, get ICE agents out and let dangerous illegal alien criminals remain in the United States.

5, Pass federal legislation to address the situation. In this case, abolish ICE.

The books The Whole of Their Lives and And Not A Shot is Fired are two important resources to help people understand what is happening in Minneapolis. The Whole of Their Lives was written in 1948 by Bengamin Gitlow, a former communist who became disillusioned by communist tactics. He recounts a rent strike where communists were on the street protesting, while communists on the roof, unknown to the street demonstrators, were throwing debris down at the communists below. The goal was to create martyrs. The title of the book was what the communists expected from their members.

And Not a Shot is Fired by Jan Kosak, a Czechoslovakian communist, explains how a free nation is taken over via subversion without the need of a violent revolution. It was an internal strategy paper for the Czechoslovak Communist Party and reprinted in English by the United States House Committee on Un-American Activities. Over the years, numerous conservative organizations reprinted the book.

Good post. These riots have nothing to do with immigration or ICE and everything to do with overturning the government. Full stop!

Andy in reply to pfg. | February 3, 2026 at 11:41 am

      Accurate.

They are going to ramp this up 1000000% between now and the election. They want a death toll.

The media has been too obliged to spin the narrative. The media needs to get sued into oblivion for libel and slander.

fscarn in reply to pfg. | February 3, 2026 at 12:17 pm

One of the conservative groups that reprinted these books was the John Birch Society which still exists. It’s probably the country’s premier anti-communist, anti-totalitarian group.

Agree. I learned about the betrayal of my country through the Birch Society. When I came to America I joined as a member.

“That is the Hegelian dialectic, perfectly, ah, executed, by an expendable idiot. Stir things up until mistakes are made, blame others for a situation you created.”

Wanna bet the protestors start complaining about being doxxed? The ones who aren’t already wearing masks are going shopping for them today.

isfoss in reply to sisyphus. | February 3, 2026 at 9:44 am

The “protestors”/provacateurs should have to go thru check points before being allowed on the street.

CommoChief in reply to sisyphus. | February 3, 2026 at 9:47 am

Meh, bring enough transportation to take them to a Federal facility for booking where required. Use paint ball guns loaded with CS/indelible ink projectiles. Use it for moving the mob away from immediate area of LEO operation and a side benefit of marking them for arrest. Scoop up everyone with a ‘paint stain’ get their cell phone geo location data, height/weight and you got enough for an arrest for obstruction. Once in custody see what warrants they may have, prior arrests and whether they are lawfully present in the USA. For added measure sun them v ‘welfare’, workman’s comp IN and SSA disability database…. If they are healthy and fit enough to ‘protest’, stalk LEO by car or on foot, march/stand for extended periods, bear the weight of makeshift ‘riot gear’ much less scuffle with LEO then they are healthy enough to work instead of draw a check from Uncle Sugar.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to CommoChief. | February 3, 2026 at 10:12 am

Then after doing all of that summarily throw their sorry hind ends into federal prison without indictment, legal representation and hold them for months (years?) in inhumane conditions before allowing them to go to trial. In other words, treat these people exactly how the J6 protesters were treated by the democrats. They don’t deserve anything better than that, that’s for sure.

      eot

I suspect taking away access to the govt teat and shattering their presumption that they have a ‘get out of jail free card’, forcing them to finally face adult consequences will be enough to punish them. For the loony females bringing their children along for their anarchist cosplay ….they are demonstrating their are an unfit Parent, remove the child, appoint a guardian ad litem and eventually placing the child in the 100% custody of the Father with a no contact order on the unfit Parent and put the loony female in prison for child endangerment.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to CommoChief. | February 3, 2026 at 1:50 pm

Nope. Not enough by a long-shot. The time to be “nice” is long over. Treat them exactly as how the J6 protesters were treated. Throw their sorry hind-ends in jail without charge or legal representation and let them rot for months on end in inhumane solitary confinement and then and only then drag them in front of a judge for a show trial and finally convict them and put them in jail for decades. Just like the J6ers were treated. And then and only then they might learn the lessons they need to learn. But I doubt it.
          .

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | February 3, 2026 at 3:51 pm

I’d disagree that solitary is ‘inhumane’, there’s plenty of folks who have practically zero face to face human interaction. Heck, lots of those people prefer not dealing with others.

Honestly I think the spectre of actual consequences; arrest, trial, incarceration followed by no access to govt teat meaning a job(s) with wages sufficient to support themselves independently would emotionally and psychologically wreck these goofy cosplay slackers driving into despair.

I think impounding the vehicles trailing the ICE vehicles and making the occupants take an uber home would slow them down.

Commiefornia Refugee in reply to sisyphus. | February 3, 2026 at 10:13 am

Identification of criminals is not doxxing. It is a public service.

Cameras will be useful to film these Democrat shock troops in their natural element.

destroycommunism | February 3, 2026 at 9:50 am

but your honor

the cameras clearly show the agents allowing themselves to be attacked and hurt and then after constant pleadings with the equity challenged the agents reacted by scolding them and then after further beatings applied to the agents one of the agents mistakenly swung their pool noodle and barely grazed the child,,who we add is 25yo but a pink heaired female so we know the law yes we know the law says she must be treated with respect and held to the legal standards of a child

thank god for the cameras

Will they also be provided with makeup artists, hair stylists and voice coaches?

All Federal Agents in Minneapolis Will Wear Body Cameras

Awaiting the liberal, activist federal district court judge to issue an injunction prohibiting ICE from using body cams in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .

You know it’s gonna happen when these Useful Idiots™ realize that their violent behavior is going to be videoed and made available to the public for all to see. Pretty sure the lawsuit has already been drawn up and all that’s necessary is for it to be filed with the relevant federal district court.

The Feds didn’t want to wear body cams. Draw your own conclusions.

The feds should setup a web site and broadcast the body cams in real time. Set up a channel for each city. When they arrest/detain someone they can expose their face on camera. Later add their mug shot and particulars on the web site.

This has a two fold purpose. First to keep the feds honest because we want them to be honest after all. The second is to expose the identity of every illegal and every rioter detained and why for all to see.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to ztakddot. | February 3, 2026 at 1:55 pm

Just post the unredacted video online for all to see. And include all the little details. Like name, address, place of employment, telephone numbers etc. Dox the hell out them and these Useful Idiots™ might reconsider their actions. But I doubt it.

This self-selecting group of cold-hardy protesters should be arrested, then processed at the USCG station on Kodiak Island, Alaska. It is large and has plenty of room for tents and latrines. These can be set-up outside the fenced area: the perimeter security is the Pacific Ocean. There will be no ICE agents to harass them.

Why havent they been wearing these before now? Seems a no brainer when dealing with mental midgets who claim everything that is had has happened to then.

In addition to deploying the body cam, there should be policy for its usage

-the ICE agents should not have the ability to turn it off or disable any functions

-there should be a test (daily?) of full functionality prior to wearing it in the streets. This protects the ICE agent from accusations should it malfunction

If an agent tries to use body cam that is not functioning, this should be documented. Some deterrence to prevent this should be in the policy

All of this will be used to protect the agent from baseless accusations

    Think38 in reply to mochajava76. | February 3, 2026 at 1:02 pm

Perhaps a presumption that an inoperable camera means an improper intent by the agent. As a matter of practice, as things have played out, the camera is almost always to the benefit of the agent, and provide sufficient motivation to use it.

McGehee 🇺🇲 | February 3, 2026 at 4:16 pm

Feds will wear them now because the Left wants bodycams banned.
