ICE got hit, you must acquit.

    diver64 in reply to Tom M. | January 10, 2026 at 6:48 am

The ultimate FAFO. Chase law enforcement around all day harassing and inserting yourself into their operations, block a road they are trying to use with your car provoking a confrontation, have your “wife” film it taunting police so you can put it online and get SJW Virtue signaling points then when ordered out of the car for arrest ignore that and at your “wife’s” suggestion to “drive, baby, drive” attempt to run over an police officer.

The people attacking law enforcement deserve zero sympathy.

Seeing this just reinforces for me how entitled we are as Americans. So few of us serve in the military or work in security that we completely take our country for granted and what sector protect law and order and freedom. These protestors have no respect for how they have the right and freedom to be a married gay couple whereas in Somalia that’s not possible. Do these people want us to be Somalia or Venezuela?

Kids, if you try doing what this woman did in any jurisdiction in the United States you can expect a case of rapid onset lead poisoning.

These numbskulls are attempting to cast this incident as a homicidal ICE agent gunning down a lesbian mother.

What actually occurred is a very intentional battery against a LEO, something that allows for the use of deadly force.

If this represents the battle lines the left wants to draw, I’m fine with that.

I’m British, I’ve visited the USA several times and sometimes I’ve driven. I am well aware of this “don’t muck around with USA cops, they have guns”, and also told them *if* we are stopped to keep their hands visible and no sudden moves (and explained why).

I can’t believe a US resident isn’t aware of it.

      diver64 in reply to paulscott. | January 10, 2026 at 6:52 am

If you get pulled over I’ve found that if it’s dark, turn on the dome light and if not just roll down the drivers window, get your license out and put your hands at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel while being polite works quite well.

Ironman in reply to paulscott. | January 14, 2026 at 4:58 pm

Some people have been so indoctrinated in the CONCEPT of white privilege that they come to believe that white privilege protects them like a shield.

Becca Good reportedly asked the agents “Why did you have real bullets?” She thought life is like a video game without consequences and found out that it isn’t.

Is there anywhere in the nation that does not qualify as assault with a deadly weapon and/or attempted murder?

Is there another angle that confirms that what appears to be a dinosaur decoration at 0:26 is real? I’m sure people are going to say it’s fake video so it would be nice to have clear proof it’s there from another angle.

Big Brother Democrats will demand you deny what you see with your own eyes.

She was certainly being an agitator.

And he certainly moved in front of a moving vehicle and could see her cut the steering wheel away from him.

SeymourButz in reply to henrybowman. | January 9, 2026 at 2:20 pm

Interestingly, if he stayed in the one spot he was already standing he would not have been.

Why do you think he would move in front of the car of the smug liberal? When no law enforcement agency in the country has I’ll train you to do so?

      He wanted an excuse.

        irishgladiator63 in reply to SeymourButz. | January 9, 2026 at 2:39 pm

And if so, so what? She still hit him and got what she deserved.

gibbie in reply to SeymourButz. | January 9, 2026 at 2:46 pm

        Mind reading.

I decided to test your hypothesis.

I called law enforcement that I know. One in a city larger than Minneapolis. One in a county much larger than Minneapolis. One in a city smaller than Minneapolis. Two in smaller towns.

All said the same thing – you position yourself in front of the car so it will not move, drive away and put others at risk.

Most reasonable people will stop when there is a law enforcement officer in front of them.

Interesting. the “wife” (the one who taunts the agent) is not even in the car when the driver floors it.

The woman didn’t care about the agent, Didn’t care about her “wife”. Didn’t care about others.

So not only is your hypothesis wrong on how people are trained, you are making accusations without merit or evidence.

ztakddot in reply to gitarcarver. | January 9, 2026 at 3:29 pm

Could have used a Stop Strip. If they don’t have them they should get them after this, No need to put agents at risk.

chrisboltssr in reply to gitarcarver. | January 9, 2026 at 4:21 pm

Actually, you can hear her “wife” tell her to “Drive, baby, drive!” and she proceeded to do so.

Could have used a Stop Strip.

I would hope ICE has Stop Sticks in their gear.

But in this case, it would not have mattered.

Stop Sticks are designed to penetrate the tire(s) and allow a slow release of the air until the tire is flat. They do not immediately “blow out” the tire. Even if they did, car can still travel on the rims.

In this instance, assuming they deployed stop sticks, the car still would have hit the officer. The tires would not have had time to deflate, come off, and be on the rims. If he had not fired, the car still would have kept going until the tires are gone and her rear view mirror is full of flashing red and blue lights with lots of agents that are not happy. They then radio “she’s lost the tire…..” as the car loses traction and control. Following that would be a PIT maneuver and Bob’s your uncle,

The sticks would have helped if she had gotten away.

          She didn’t.

The effective stopping device was lead and another car she ran into.

ztakddot in reply to gitarcarver. | January 9, 2026 at 8:15 pm

Thanks for the explanation. My thought is drop the stop sticks and not stand in front. If the car takes off chase it and then do as you say. I would not have agents risk life and limb in this case.

healthguyfsu in reply to gitarcarver. | January 9, 2026 at 11:18 pm

I’d argue that tire deployments could be extra dangerous had the car stayed straight as it might have hit him with partially deflated or blown tires on metal rims and more easily trapped him under the car. So no, that’s definitely not safer.

          ztakddot,

My thought is drop the stop sticks and not stand in front.

You have to remember what is going on. The woman is leading a convoy of other cars that are blocking the street and ICE vehicles. Good was told to move on and would not leave. Stop Sticks is somewhat counter the desire to get her to leave.

She doesn’t leave and two things happen. First, the agent with the camera walks around the car. Secondly, after Good not obeying the order to leave from another officer at her door, he orders her out of the car and she does not comply. the agent with the camera is walking in front of the car when she decides to floor the car. I don’t know whether he was standing there in front of her to keep her from leaving so she could be removed from the car, or whether he was heading to help his partner at the door to drag her butt out of the car.

In the end it doesn’t matter.

She aimed the car at him, floored it, and he took defensive action.

          healthguyfsu,

I’d argue that tire deployments could be extra dangerous had the car stayed straight as it might have hit him with partially deflated or blown tires on metal rims and more easily trapped him under the car.

When a person runs over a Stop Stick, there are pointy hollow tubes that get embedded in the tire allowing the tire to deflate slowly. This allows the driver to maintain some control of the car.

It is not as if the car tire immediately goes flat. It takes a while. It is essentially a slow, controlled leak in the tire. When the tire loses enough air pressure, it will either overheat and fall apart or come off the rim. (You may have experienced something similar riding a bike as a child. You get a flat and if you keep riding on it, the bike becomes harder and harder to control and the tire itself will roll off the rim.)

I am not sure the agents would have deployed or had the time to deploy the strips before the shooting.

Good was heading a convoy of cars that were blocking the street and blocking ICE vehicles. The agents wanted her gone – outta there. Stop Sticks would have been contrary to that desire. When she wouldn’t move, the agents ordered her out of the car, (which she refused.) THAT would have been the time to deploy Stop Sticks – to prevent her from fleeing down the road at a high speed.

There are several types and sizes of Stop Sticks. The MacDaddy of them are approximately 8 feet in length and have an 80 foot or so rope. They are generally used for moving vehicles and sometimes stationary vehicles. The “Mini Me” versions are about the width of a tire. They are used when a vehicle is stopped and you don’t want the car to leave and so even if the car does leave, it is easy to catch up to.

The problem with the larger version is that because it folds, when a tire hits and embeds the hollow tubes, the tubes don’t immediately break off. The strip flails around until the tubes break.

That flailing stop strip is the danger to the officers – not the tire blowing out.

Bottom line is the woman aimed her car at the officer and floored it.

She paid the price for her foolishness.

Some years back, I had to call the local cops on a drunk driver when I was heading home from my second shift job. While I was stopped talking to one at a local gas station, they got notice from others that the guy had finally been stopped. He’d gone on to the interstate and it took deploying stop sticks *twice* because after the first set, he just kept going, even though he was just running on rims by the time he hit the second set.

VaGentleman in reply to gitarcarver. | January 10, 2026 at 5:04 pm

Stop strips are for when you are chasing a moving vehicle. In this case, your combat knife is a better choice.

patmac in reply to SeymourButz. | January 9, 2026 at 3:39 pm

Stop and get out of the car are lawful orders she should have heeded. I’m glad she didn’t and now is dead. The ice agents have been extremely reasonable and restrained. She got the deserved consequences of her action and more of this has to happen so that we can get the country back to less anarchy pay for one. I’m extremely tired of riots, misconstrued intentionally as peaceful protests. There’s nothing peaceful about running over an ice agent intentionally.

I’m glad she didn’t and now is dead.

I am not glad she is dead.

I don’t relish in the idea that anyone does things that result in being “unalived.”

She still has kids (with her ex male husband) and they have to live with the fact that mommy got shot and died.

I know of people who when they were younger were always radicals and “the cops aren’t the boss of me.” As they have grown older and wiser, they change.

Would she have changed her thinking? The signs are not good that she would have. But we’ll never know.

She made a really stupid choice resulting in her needless death (by her needless actions – not the agent’s,)

I don’t rejoice or feel good about any person that dies like this. It saddens me and makes me wonder “what happened to them?”

          That’s just me though.

I’m not glad but I’m not even a little sad. This is a person who went out of their way to try and maim or kill an LEO who was in the right and got herself killed in the process. To me, that’s just a great example of karma (or FAFO if you prefer abbrevs).

          healthguyfsu,

I’m not glad but I’m not even a little sad.

I understand the sentiment. I really do.

I have friends that have a calling to be in the prison ministry. (It is not my calling.) They talk about men and women who made horrible choices in life, but repented and work to make themselves and other better – even if they never can be released from prison.

          Good won’t have that chance.

Her kids won’t have a mother. She won’t see them graduate or walk down the aisle when they get married.

She won’t hold her baby grandkids in her arms or have the chance to spoil them like grandparents do.

It is the life wasted that saddens me. A life that was full of possibilities and the choices she made resulted in her justified killing.

It could have been different. It should have been different.

The fact that instead of living the rest of her life, she’s in a morgue and that saddens me to an extent.

But I do understand your point. I really do.

You’ve convinced me, I will change all my opinions about everything in life. Thank you for your really well highly thought out and detailed position.

He did stay in one spot. Go watch the agent’s video. Pay close attention to the car and the lines on the road, When agent Ross is talking to Becca, he is standing to the right of the car, not in front of the car.

Renee Good then backed up with the wheel turned. After that he was in front of the car, but he had not moved, the car had moved.

She then, changed gears from reverse to drive, turned the wheel straight and hit the gas, WHILE looking straight at him.

Renee Good made took multiple actions, not doing any one of them, would have had a different result.

For example, she did not need to back up. There was nothing in front of her, including agent Ross. But she backed up which pointed the car at agent Ross.

For example, she changed gears from reverse to drive. If she kept it in reverse she would not have hit anyone, no one was behind the car.

Agitator? No wrong word. She and her ‘partner/wife’ were actively obstructing Federal LEO. They drove into the middle of the roadway, coming to a stop perpendicular to the roadway. The passenger exited the vehicle and was taunting LEO IMO seeking to distract/inject chaos but in any event not ‘peaceable assembly’. Likewise for the.driver who ignored lawful commands to exit the the vehicle, choosing instead to reverse then lurch forward toward a LEO.. Intended or not that placed the LEO into reasonable fear of death or great bodily injury. The shoot was entirely justified. No amount of lies, willful blindness or obtuse reasoning will alter that.

Wow. She was being ordered to exit her vehicle while another ICE agent moved to the front of her vehicle (doubtless with the belief that his presence there would prevent her escape). He moved into that position well before the vehicle moved.

    You’re willfully blind, a moron, and/or a liar.

“Cutting the steering wheel away” from the agent in no way excuses her nor does it condemn the officer. He was still threatened by the driver’s actions (even if he wasn’t actually hit, which it seems he was from yet another video).

Everything your side said initially was a lie.
The officer wasn’t in front of the vehicle
The officer fired at her from behind while she was trying de-escalate the situation (aka fleeing after being ordered from the vehicle)
The woman wasn’t there harassing ICE agents
You believed these lies and now find it impossible to admit you were wrong. Therefore you can’t allow any evidence contrary to your narrative (this was a murder) to dissuade you, no matter how foolish/stupid it makes you look.

I didn’t feel sorry for her until I realized she was the one in the original video made by the screaming harpy standing outside the wreck with the driver’s side door open hunched over her dead lover. She was so still I thought the woman who got shot had climbed out of the vehicle, turned around, and died over the driver’s seat before realizing the clothing didn’t match that of the woman in the driver’s seat earlier in the same video.

The weight of what this woman did must be heavy indeed. Never mind the prosecution she is justly due for being an accessory to her lover’s death.

Both these women were clearly not incredibly bright. I’m far more angry than sorrowful though…angry at the Democrats and media (a redundancy) who incited them and who’ve been agitating millions of other not-so-bright people for years solely for the sake of greed, power, and control knowing full well that people will die as a result, if not secretly hoping for it as a means to their evil ends.

They need to be openly shamed and ridiculed by all reasonable people, including the few moderate Democrats who remain, until they stop. It’s the only thing liberals, who are basically hyper-feminists writ large, will ever understand.

Virtually all modern cultural ills in the West stemmed from feminism:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOeaRd5Izoc

Attacking a feminine problem with masculine tactics is doomed to fail. No amount of logic and reasoning will ever succeed. Relentless shaming and ridicule are the only “arguments” these people can ever comprehend.

I find little sorrow to feel for someone that deliberately puts themself and their deceased spouse in that situation. They have adult brains that are supposedly able to process adult concepts. That’s like saying I feel sorry for the family member of a murderer that concealed their crime out of “love” and will now face justice. I just don’t.

Recommend this video as well. I was a little more on the fence, not as much as Tim Pool was, but this analysis pushed me over.

They had been out all morning watching and filming ICE trying to catch them doing something wrong. They were unable to find anything so they decided to create a situation: Rebecca got out to film Renee’s interaction with ICE. When Renee was ordered to get out of the car, she refused and drove off laughing in their face. Well, it backfired and Rebecca, the observer, observed Renee getting shot.

Paula in reply to Paula. | January 9, 2026 at 2:42 pm

Grok estimates that the ICE agent standing in front of her SUV had between .44 and 1 second to make a decision. The SUV was going so fast that it travelled approximately 50 ft where it hit a pole and another car, totaling the other car.

To do that much damage, she had to be going a minimum of 30 mph when she hit the pole and other vehicle. For a Honda Pilot to reach 30 miles per hour with 50 ft, the gas pedal would have to be floored.

      diver64 in reply to Paula. | January 10, 2026 at 6:58 am

Actually, the car appeared to accelerate into the pole and another car. It looked to me like the officer killed her and her foot crushed the gas peddle speeding it up. Doesn’t matter, though. That cop drew and fired in a very fast manner and was justified in doing it.

schmuul in reply to Paula. | January 9, 2026 at 2:53 pm

Paula you described that so well and it gives me chills. I can’t help but think of Israel and the “Friday game,” the every Friday “protests” in Gaza and the Westbank where Palestinians where out there filming and provoking, throwing stones etc. just hoping to get that one golden moment of film. Its like palestinianism that disingenuine way of manipulating people and creating fake situations and confrontations to generate sympathy and outrage. And it doesn’t matter if its a lie and comes out as a lie eventually because the damage will already have been done.

I’m not sure I understand the POV of this shot. Is the agent carrying a cellphone, and we’re seeing his position? That’s what it looks like, especially when the cellphone goes flying at the end, but why wasn’t he using a bodycam? If he was holding his cellphone, and then shot the woman as she’s driving off, he’s a very quick draw. Or was this someone else filming?

If the video is accurate, agent or not, it looks very solid. I’m just trying to understand what I’m seeing here.

Yes, it was a cellphone, people actually commented on this in the previous released videos.

    irishgladiator63 in reply to Drewsome. | January 9, 2026 at 3:00 pm

You can see in his reflection on the car he has a phone out. I’m not sure if he switched it to his left hand at some point or if he clipped it into a holder on his vest prior to the shots fired.

I believe as soon as he realized she had put the car in drive and/or heard wheel spin (he may have even been able to have seen her make the a motion signaling she was shifting into drive) he dropped the phone to draw and hold his sidearm in a two-handed grip.

Can anyone tell me what the cocky wife said after “US citizen” and before “you wanna come at us?” It sounds like “former f***ing veteran”, then something else that I couldn’t understand. I’ve never heard of former veteran status.

I’m so glad twitter is free and we have the right to combat the douche patrol.

Please, Democrats, make this arrogant Karen the face of your anti-ICE movement.

All of us have encountered a Karen exactly like her at some point.

The arrogant, taunting GLEE of being a complete turbobitch for no other purpose than to make somebody else’s life miserable, while totally, arrogantly secure that she will never actually suffer consequences.

PLEASE, God, let Democrats be this stupid.

The Communists will just double-down and claim the new video “proves” their false allegations. As George Orwell put it:

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

If we are to have a civil war – which is what the Communists are lusting for – then let’s just get on with it. And when they lose the Communists should have only two choices: exile or execution.

Execution only. Insurrection, treason, anarchy=death. Problem solved

They’re doing that already all over X. Even to postings of this video. They continue to insist that the “turning of the wheels” makes the officer a murderer. They’re citing the driver’s smile as evidence she meant no harm (when it is probably from her training on how to harass ICE). No evidence will shake them from the already-established narrative.

For all those asking about why no body cam. Not sure this is why, but in my experience bodycams do NOT do well with quickly changing temperatures. Such as being in a warm car or building and then getting out into -10 or -20. They fog up and take forever to clear.
Plus the cold draining batteries.
I don’t know if that’s enough reason not to be wearing them, but I don’t think they’d be particularly useful in Minnesota in winter.

now the ice agent and his family has to flee their homes as opposed

to the real criminals who are enshrined in leftys museum of heroics

Dolce Far Niente | January 9, 2026 at 3:28 pm

Another angle I had not seen before; clearly shows the SPEED at which she hit the agent.

She got the end result of what she had intended for him. Death. All good. Moving on.

Is the dog okay?

MoeHowardwasright | January 9, 2026 at 4:09 pm

This doesn’t end it for the wife who was filming. Once the officers told Renee to get out of the car and the wife told her to drive, drive, the wife was an accomplice at that point in the commission of a felony. The wife can be charged with her spouse’s murder. It’s a federal statute as well as a state statute. It doesn’t matter that the federal officer shot and killed Renee. The partner can be held responsible for her death. The AAG should direct the FBI to arrest her immediately.

Time to visit some of the pain leftists only too happily aim at conservatives every time the tables are turned!

No. It’s time to have illegal actions meet actual justice. Accessory to attempted murder and whatever appropriate other criminal charges should be filed against the ‘partner’ not out of retaliation, but because she committed those crimes. Period.

This video is DAMNING of the media and their real time canonisation of this woman!!

Some of the headlines have been very “austere religious leader” vibes!

She’s staring right at the officer as she floors it. Case closed

If this “saint” had a job and had been at actual work, she’d still be alive. Lesson #1.

There is nothing to enjoy about this video. It’s incredibly sad that these two women were so confident that they could do practically whatever they wanted that they were utterly casual about their behavior.

The reasoning process was entirely absent here. Somewhere they must have been convinced that ICE was simply evil; it was in fact the Gestapo. And apparently when you’re the Gestapo you must acknowledge that you are evil and shrink in shame whenever you are confronted. At least it seems that this is what these ladies expected to happen. It clearly never occurred to them if they were wrong then the ICE agents had no obligation to defer to them and if they were right, then the ICE agents were going to behave like the Gestapo and not like chastised schoolboys.

CommoChief in reply to Plebeian. | January 10, 2026 at 8:31 am

Slight quibble. IMO the fact that the ICE officer, due to his quick, decisive action only suffered relatively minor injuries compared to the possibility of serious injury or death is a very positive.

There are other things to celebrate as well. First the full on Cray Cray ideology of the d/prog is now on full public display each day. They come across as completely unreasonable and frankly unhinged… and that’s the political leadership, the street mob NPCs are worse.

Second the public is seeing exactly how little regard the leftists have for any semblance of maintaining a civil society or basic rule of law. The political leaders are invoking what amounts to a ‘nullification’ of Federal immigration laws and their enforcement. ICE is on the street after HVT Aliens b/c they refuse to allow local LEO to cooperate with ICE by handing over criminal Aliens the locals arrested and are already in custody. Instead the leftist ‘sanctuary’ jurisdictions release them onto the street. Absent that, much of ICE enforcement to remove the ‘worst first’ would be accomplished in far more secure far safer conditions of a prisoner transfer.

Finally the public (those interested in the full story) can easily see how deranged the leftist mob and their paid agitators, such as this woman and her partner/wife have become through video evidence v supposition.

While her death is unfortunate it also demonstrates exactly how entitled these leftist agitators have become through the clear evidence of their actions. It also shows that there will be consequences, including use of deadly force in defense, when these agitators ignore warnings, flout the law, refuse to submit to lawful commands and instead create conditions for use of deadly force.

“There is nothing to enjoy about this video.”

    I dissent.

One of the major injustices of our time is… lack of justice. Over and over again, we see evildoers who are indisputably guilty of depredations and atrocities, and yet are never punished. Their victims never receive justice. Either the government prosecutes them incompetently and lets them off (Decarlos Brown Jr., Letitia James, James Comey), doesn’t prosecute them at all (Brian Cole Jr., Biden, Mayorkas, Hillary, John Brennan), or worst of all, actually rewards them (Lon Horiuchi, Bill McMahon, Larry Potts, Susan Rice).

This constitutes SYSTEMIC VICTIMIZATION of honest American citizens.

Conversely this incident sees karma hit swiftly and accurately. An insufferable anti-American bully and agitator is instrumental in destroying the greater part of her own life and the life of someone she loved. My feelings about the dead woman aside, the live woman got justice.

Sorry to be such a cold son of a bitch, but someone has to, When there are no consequences, there is no civilization.

I wonder how much the dumb dame’s wife is going to be suing the taxpayers for?

henrybowman in reply to Capt Bligh. | January 9, 2026 at 11:33 pm

    Suing the taxpayers?
She’s going to be too busy frantically defending herself from a felony murder charge.

Under Biden, it would be a “Sue and settle” for a few million, the officer would be prosecuted in a kangaroo court, and even if vindicated, would get a personal suit for a few million financed by the Fed payout. She can’t even sue the city for a few mil to get the lawsuit machine properly greased, and I’m expecting the Give2Me fund will get frozen since it is a payout for a criminal action so that won’t help the girlfriend get a payday either. That leaves the Soros-aligned machine to dump cash into her for Trump lawfare, and that probably won’t happen either since the girlfriend is a real piece of work and will come apart in the media.

Remember, the people who are defending this foolish woman against damning evidence that she provoked her own death are the same people who think Officer Byrd was justified in shooting Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman threatening no one with violence.

Politicians now complaining that they’re not getting cooperation from federal authorities (who are investigating an incident over which local authorities have no jurisdiction) are the same politicians whose official policy is to refuse cooperation with the federal government’s enforcement of the country’s immigration laws.

They live in Bizarro World.

The key is the leftist cannot admit he made a mistake, no matter what. When this was first announced, the Narrative went straight to the “Armed ICE officer/thug shoots unarmed woman for no reason.” Took them about a millisecond. Then the video of her driving and the Narrative shifted to “Heroic Mom fleeting unjust arrest shot to death for no reason.” Then there was a shift to “She was trying to avoid the officer and did not hit him” which transitioned into “It only looks like he was hit, and besides, he should have sprung gracefully away” and changed to “Well, he was hit, but only lightly bruised” and now is “His injuries were only hemorrhoids so it doesn’t count.” Not one of them said “I was wrong originally. The woman turned her car in the direction of the officer, looked him straight in the eye, and floored the gas, trying to kill him. I just want to say this is wrong, nobody should do this, and I apologize to the officer I slandered.”

She was a loving mother, so loving that she spent her day harrassing federal law enforcement without a thought for her family. Enough of the hype about her.

White Savior armor ain’t what it used to be.

Yes, a vehicle can be used as a deadly weapon, like many other large, dangerous objects. If I have barbell, and I, like an asshole, swing it by your head in a negligent manner, that doesn’t mean I’m trying to kill you. It means I’m being a negligent, dangerous asshole.

Any reasonable person would conclude that this woman was, rightly or wrongly, attempting to avoid him and flee. It was negligent, it was dangerous, she was an asshole. But his movement, and his momentum, were carrying him to his right / her left. She was not a threat to his life. He knew it, she knew, and you and I both know it.

To me, this incident is about a cop acting like a PIG on a power trip – something not at all uncommon in law enforcement. This shooting was unjustified, and this officer should be prosecuted.

That harpy yelling at her partner to “drive, baby, drive” really should get the book thrown at her. One more instance of the suicidal idiocy of radical life.

A side issue — do you notice, in the reportage, how many of these agitators and illegal aliens are now “weaponizing their cars?”

But this should be impossible. By law, cars are 100% registered, purchases and sales are 100% tracked, drivers are 100% trained and licensed, and their vehicles are 100% insured to reimburse collision victims. Any incident where this is not true, the perpetrators aren’t “exercising a right,” they’re criminals disobeying serious laws. There are no car show loopholes.

Kind of makes you realize that these same “solutions” constantly proposed to “gun violence” aren’t really about “gun violence” at all, doesn’t it?

Milhouse in reply to henrybowman. | January 11, 2026 at 12:16 am

Excellent point, except that, unlike guns, you actually don’t need any of that in order to purchase a car. Anyone can buy a car, without any training or license, nor any need to register or insure it, so long as they don’t carry/drive it on a public road. A sufficiently wealthy ten-year-old can buy a car and have it delivered to a property where he can drive it to his heart’s content. But he can’t buy a gun. And yet the anti-gun lobby insists our gun laws are too lax!

The internet abounds with narcissistic people who believe that they are morally superior so that acting in a civilized and decent manner is beneath them.

When you peel back their cloak of narcissistic superiority, you find – more often than not – a selfish, neurotic nonconformist with an inferiority complex who’s overcompensating. Their assertiveness and aggressive behavior comes from living in the bubble of a reenforcement loop of likeminded peers and the total lack of any negative physical repercussions in their lives for their actions. They’re the minds of spoiled toddlers in an adult’s body.

The more dangerous ones organize themselves and receive funding from well known anarchists who seem to relish – and perhaps profit – from the ensuing chaos and mayhem.

I don’t feel sorry that this lady was shot and killed. She was an adult who should have been able to control herself and anticipate what consequences her actions have. Ditto for her wife. She and her wife placed their selfish behavior above the welfare of her children and cloaked themselves in narcissistic righteousness to justify their illegal actions.

My sympathy is for the agent who has to live with this death when his only goal that day was to do his job and return home safely to his wife and kids.

One would assume she saw him too. She’s looking right at him in this picture.

As a DEA agent I was once in an almost identical situation in Los Angeles back in the late 70s. Except it wasn’t a female activist, it was a heroin trafficker we were trying to arrest. Coming from a dead stop, he twice knocked an agent out from in front of his car. The agent fired a round into his left front tire putting a hole in his hubcap. I was standing at point blank range next to the driver’s side door and almost shot myself. As it was, I held off because another agent was standing so close that if he had moved to his right, I might have struck him. So we had to engage in a car chase before he crashed into a curb, and we were able to drag him out.
Bottom line is that if one has never been in such a situation, they have no comprehension what it’s all about. It is a split-second decision. A car is a deadly weapon, and if you try to run down a cop, you can expect to get shot. Even the cops in Minneapolis would tell you that.
