Trump Announces 25% Tariff on Countries Doing Business With Iran

President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that he will slap a 25% tariff on any country doing business with Iran.

“Effective immediately, any Country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25% on any and all business being done with the United States of America,” wrote Trump. “This Order is final and conclusive.”

While Trump declared his order “final and conclusive,” the Supreme Court will soon decide whether he has the legal authority to impose global tariffs.

The decision could come next Wednesday.
