DHS Identifies Illegal Aliens Accused of Beating ICE Agent in Minneapolis
“What we saw last night in Minneapolis was an attempted murder of federal law enforcement. Our officer was ambushed and attacked by three individuals who beat him with snow shovels and the handles of brooms.”
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) identified the three illegal aliens who allegedly beat an ICE agent with a shovel and broomstick in Minneapolis, MN.
They are:
- Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis
- Alfredo Alejandro Ajorna
- Gabriel Alejandro Hernandez-Ledezma
“What we saw last night in Minneapolis was an attempted murder of federal law enforcement. Our officer was ambushed and attacked by three individuals who beat him with snow shovels and the handles of brooms. Fearing for his life, the officer fired a defensive shot,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. “Mayor Frey and Governor Walz have to get their city under control. They are encouraging impeding and assault against our law enforcement, which is a federal crime, a felony. This is putting the people of Minnesota in harm’s way.”
On Wednesday night, federal law enforcement agents performed a targeted traffic stop for Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis. The Biden administration released him in 2022.
Sosa-Celis tried to escape the traffic stop, but crashed his car into a parked car. He then fled on foot.
The agent followed, eventually catching up to Sosa-Celis.
The agent attempted to arrest Sosa-Celis, but Sosa-Celis resisted. That’s when two people joined the fight, attacking the agent with a shovel and a broomstick.
Sosa-Celis freed himself and became more violent against the agent.
The agent managed to retrieve his gun and fired a defensive shot, which hit Sosa-Celis in the leg.
The three men barricaded themselves in an apartment where ICE apprehended them.
The men:
Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis: “[A] criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, previously convicted for driving without a license and arrested for two counts of giving a false name to a peace officer, was the subject of a targeted enforcement operation. He was released by Minnesota authorities before ICE could even lodge a detainer. Sosa-Celis illegally entered the United States in August 2022 under the Biden administration.
Alfredo Alejandro Ajorna: “[A]n illegal alien from Venezuela, illegally entered the United States in May 2023 under the Biden administration. After he failed to show up for his immigration hearing, he was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge.”
Gabriel Alejandro Hernandez-Ledezma: “[A] criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, who illegally entered the United States in May 2023 under the Biden administration. The Biden administration marked this illegal alien as a non-enforcement priority.”
Anti-ICE rioters have wreaked havoc on Minneapolis since an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good.
President Donald Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act if Minnesota officials don’t stop people from breaking the law.

Congrats Gabe, you just shot yourself up the priority list for immigration enforcement.
Nice looking trio
If a person illegally within country actively fights an effort to remove him, he is, without a doubt, an enemy invader.
Enemy invaders should not be deported or imprisoned. They should be executed.
They’re not in uniform, have no command structure. Unlawful combatants, enemies of all mankind.
Ergo a candidate for a firing squad, if we still did such things.
Three Venezuelan nationals, acting in concert, attempting to kill a federal agent after Venezuelan officials promised retribution for Maduro? Sounds like an act of war or state sponsored terror.
Throw that in Venezuela’s face and see how they respond. See if Venezuela disavows them.
Damn near time to declare martial law in Minneapolis-St.Paul, if possible. Lock it down, ie curfews, roadblock, etc. Any illegal alien taken in custody and deported especially Somalis. Any people interfering with ICE, CBP etc. arrested and jailed. We need to stop fooling around with the agitator and rioters. Persons brandishing weapons- shot on the spot. The riots would end in 10 minutes.
The constitution doesn’t allow such a thing as martial law in the USA. The Supreme Court created an exception for the case where an emergency has made it impossible for the courts to function. In that case the military can take over until the courts are able to resume. As soon as a court opens its doors, martial law becomes illegal in that county.
Then not martial law but whatever comes closest to it. Deploy the N. guard.

Can you or somebody else explain to me why Walz, his Lt. Gov, and Frey cannot be indicted for conspiracy to commit federal crimes? Specifically, a conspiracy to forcibly prevent federal officers from enforcing immigration laws? The facts have already been admitted by them, and by publicly announcing their physical and moral support for the activities of these insurrectionists they should have by now exposed themselves to that kind of prosecution. The undisputed fact that Frey had originally given orders to the MPD to not involve themselves in any way to assist federal agents is now subsumed by the fact that he has ordered his police force to actually physically resist federal agents would seem to be what some might call a small clue.
“Conspiracy” doesn’t need a whole lot of action, just the meeting of two or more people to advance this illegal activity.
The entire upper-crust of the Dem-wing control of the state is exposed to this, from Walz, through Keith Muhammed X. Ellison, to the Lt. Gov, right down to the small Frey.
Have the DoJ do an intensive investigation (shouldn’t take more than about 2 minutes), bust ’em, and throw them into solitary confinement in a federal facility. Let them expend millions of dollars in attorney’s fees defending themselves, since the Dem-wing has proven that it’s the process which is the punishment.
Because they haven’t done that.
No, they haven’t.
They’ve given moral support, but nothing material. And they haven’t conspired with them, at least as far as anyone outside their circle knows.
That’s his constitutional right.
No, he hasn’t, but if he did give such an order it would just be an illegal order that the police would know to ignore. Any policeman who does interfere with federal agents will be arrested immediately, and they know that, so they won’t do it. Still no criminal conspiracy here.
No, it doesn’t require much, but it does require an actual agreement between two or more people that one of them will commit a crime, and for one of them to take some action in furtherance of it. The “ICE Watch” certainly seems like a criminal conspiracy, and everyone involved in that should be charged, but I’ve seen no evidence that Walz or Frey have got themselves involved in that. I think they’re not dumb enough.
Where’s the evidence? If they’re actually conspiring with the people committing the crimes, they’re keeping it quiet. And I can’t imagine why they would do that. What purpose would it achieve for them? Far more likely they’re not conspiring with those people, and have never actually even met or spoken to them. They’re happy they’re committing the crimes, they give them moral support, but they keep their own hands clean.

Thanks for taking the time to spew absolutely false information in your comment!
I’m far too lazy to have bothered to supply links to the coverage of Walz and Frey making these criminal comments, but your abject failure to even research it is an amusing demonstration of willful ignorance. And yes, Frey DID order his head cop to actively, physically interfere…there’s a video.
An illegal order that a Minneapolis cop would ignore? There IS no such thing. The few remaining police (about 2/3’s of their required staff, but actually less than that if you stop counting those on long-term medical leave or unable to take to the streets) are so terrified of losing their positions and pensions that they might hesitate to follow orders, but eventually they will. What you DON’T know, not having lived there, is that the MPD is the de facto biggest gang in the city, crooked as a dog’s hind leg, and running most of the drug, gambling, and prostitution businesses (and extorting money from the other, smaller, less-well-uniformed gangs).
But in the meantime, the DoJ has finally gotten off their dead ass and is finally investigating this massive criminal organization that passes itself off as a Minnesota “government”; the only link I’ll give you:
https://nypost.com/2026/01/16/us-news/doj-probing-tim-walz-minneapolis-mayor-jacob-frey-over-alleged-conspiracy-to-impede-immigration-agents-report/
There is no such thing as a “criminal comment”. The first amendment means there can’t be such a thing.
No, he didn’t, and no, there isn’t.
But if he had given such an order, it would not be a crime, because it would not satisfy at least two of the three Brandenburg elements.
Yes there is. You are being ridiculous. No cop, in Minneapolis or anywhere else, is going to obey an order that he knows is likely to land him in a federal prison, or dead. Especially if that cop is corrupt!
Yes, I’ve seen that. It’s bulldust. There is certainly a criminal conspiracy, but there is no evidence of either Walz or Frey being personally involved in it, and it’s extremely unlikely that they’d be dumb enough to get personally involved. It wouldn’t achieve anything for them, and would just put them at risk for no gain.
barricaded themselves in an apartment where ICE apprehended them
Might have used the opportunity to not apprehend them and saved the taxpayer much hassle. That sort of thinking is where so many are being pushed to with the Democrat sedition – just go ahead and take care of things without involving the system.
Go all Philadelphia on them?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1985_MOVE_bombing
Philly has an Ozempic deprived sheriff.
Who is not responsible for keeping law and order in the city. That’s the police’s job, and the police chief made it clear that he doesn’t share her views.
What does this have to do with the sheriff in Philadelphia being fat? Which is what I’m assuming alaskabob was saying by calling him Ozempic deprived?
Her. Her weight is irrelevant, and so is she. She can say whatever she likes, but she has no significant power so who cares? The actual police chief says she’s full of it.
