Watchdog: U.S. Weapons Now Core of Taliban Military

“A massive number of U.S.-made and U.S.-supplied weapons and military facilities were left behind in Afghanistan as a result of President Joe Biden’s troop withdrawal announcement in April 2021”

The Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction (SIGAR) is now saying that the billions in American weaponry left behind during Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan now forms the ‘core’ of the Taliban Military.

This means that if American soldiers are ever in a conflict in the region again, there is a distinct possibility that they could be injured or killed by weapons paid for by American taxpayers. Thanks, Joe Biden.

We should have known this was going to happen when the Taliban started doing parades with our equipment.

Just the News reports:

Afghan watchdog concludes billions in weapons U.S. left behind form ‘core’ of Taliban military

The inspector general responsible for scrutinizing U.S. reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan has detailed the billions of dollars wasted by the U.S. government during the 20-year war in the country and concluded that the arsenal of U.S.-provided military weaponry that was left behind now forms the “core” of the Taliban’s own military machine.

A massive number of U.S.-made and U.S.-supplied weapons and military facilities were left behind in Afghanistan as a result of President Joe Biden’s troop withdrawal announcement in April 2021, which resulted in the dissolution of the Afghan military, a chaotic U.S. evacuation, and a Taliban takeover in August 2021.

The Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction (SIGAR) issued its “final forensic audit report” this week more than four years after the U.S. withdrawal and evacuation from the country, concluding that “these U.S. taxpayer-funded equipment, weapons, and facilities have formed the core of the Taliban security apparatus.” SIGAR said in its final report that it will close its doors at the end of January 2026 as a result of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2025.

The report said that the Pentagon has concluded that the U.S. left behind weaponry worth at least $7.1 billion — weapons now in the hands of the Taliban — and that the U.S. government also continued to send $3.47 billion in humanitarian and development assistance to Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover.

Just the News also recently reported that the Biden administration created certain exemptions for members of the Taliban to immigrate to the United States.

It is amazing how much damage Joe Biden did in just four years. Or whoever was really running the show at the White House back then.

Biden and Miley and Austin are such f-wads. Seriously. If it had been me in charge I would have resigned out of embarrassment, But them? Show’s you that they value power much more and have little to no honor.

Let’s hope the contractors who designed the equipment know where the Achilles heels are to disable their equipment. We may need to pass that along to our own military members in the future.

We will be paying for the foolishness of the Biden administration for at least a generation, maybe two.
.

Apparently enough spares to do repairs.

When America “left” Vietnam, the North inherited the 5th largest air force in the world. Biden donated even more….. i wonder where that 10% percent for The Big Guy is parked?

My utter contempt and rabid loathing of Joe Biden and his minions is only exceeded by my utter contempt and rabid loathing of his puppet master, Barack Obama.

If only Obama had stayed in Indonesia and become an Imam, and Biden stayed in Delaware and become a speed bump (his occupation end point).

If only Obama’s father had been denied admission into the US and Corn Pop had kicked the ever loving crap out of Biden.

“This means that if American soldiers are ever in a conflict in the region again, there is a distinct possibility that they could be injured or killed by weapons paid for by American taxpayers.”

It was Biden’s ultimate destiny to one-up Obama’s extremely successful pilot project of enabling the Mexican cartels to kill US law enforcement with weapons obtained (under threat of having their licenses revoked by BATF) from unwilling US gun shops, so that Obama could then throw the Second Amendment under the bus.

You have to be dumb as a box of rocks not figuring this would happen

It’s beyond surprising to me that there haven’t yet been public executions over this massive failure.

If a single civilian or US soldier is killed with anything left behind I fully expect to see a bunch of Democrats get hanged publicly for treason.
