Trump Gives Okay to Attack Iran if It Continues Nuclear, Missile Programs

Trump Gives Okay to Attack Iran if It Continues Nuclear, Missile Programs

On Hamas: “If they say they’re not going to disarm those same countries will go and wipe them out. They don’t even need Israel. You know, we have many countries, 59 countries, that are in agreement.”

President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a press conference after their talks at Mar-a-Lago, during which they addressed many topics.

Overall, according to Trump, “There’s very little difference in what we’re looking at and where we want to be, where we want to go.”

But then the press asked questions.

Hamas

Of course, Hamas came up. A reporter asked Trump what would happen if Hamas didn’t disarm.

Trump replied:

Horrible for them. Horrible. Going to be really, really bad for them. And I don’t want that to happen, but they made an agreement that they were going to disarm. And you couldn’t blame Israel, by the way, we have other countries that will come in and do it. They said, “Let us do it for you.” If they don’t, countries that were with them wanted the deal to be made, agreed that they would disarm. And now, if they say they’re going to disarm, that’s fine. If they say they’re not going to disarm those same countries will go and wipe them out. They don’t even need Israel. You know, we have many countries, 59 countries, that are in agreement.

This is a real peace in the Middle East. And Hamas is a small part of it, but it’s still a part of it. But we have 59 countries that signed on big countries, countries that are outside of the Middle East, as you know, the Middle East, they want to go in and wipe out Hamas.

They don’t want Israel. They don’t need Israel. They want to do it because it’s the right thing to do, because they were for the deal based on the fact that Hamas pledged, they swore that they were going to disarm. Now, if they’re not going to disarm, those same countries will wipe out Hamas.

Iran

When Netanyahu arrived at Mar-a-Lago, a reporter asked Trump about his relationship with the prime minister.

Trump brought up Iran:

Now I hear that Iran is trying to build up again, and if they are, we’re going to have to knock them down. We’ll knock them down. We’ll knock the hell out of them. But hopefully that’s not happening. I heard Iran wants to make a deal. If they want to make a deal, that’s much smarter. You know, they could have made a deal the last time before we went through, you know, a big attack on them, and they decided not to make the deal. They wish they made that deal. So I think again, they should make a deal. They want to make a deal, but sometimes that doesn’t happen.

Another reporter asked Trump if he would support an Israeli strike on Iran if the nation continued building ballistic and nuclear weapons:

REPORTER: Will you support an attack Israeli attack on Iran, if Iran will not have a deal, if Iran will continue with their ballistic missiles and also nuclear weapons, if they will continue with the missiles.

TRUMP: Okay, one will be yes, absolutely. The other, we’ll do it immediately.

Venezuela

A reporter asked Trump to expand on his comments about the military hitting a building in Venezuela.

Trump replied:

There was a major explosion in the dock area where they load the boats up with drugs. They load the boats up with drugs. So we hit all the boats, and now we hit the area. It’s the implementation area, that’s where they implement, and that is no longer around.

“59 countries” – who will send, collectively, ZERO troops

Yes. And the last thing Israel wants is for the USA to send troops into combat on its behalf, and have some of them die. That would turn public opinion against them, so Israeli policy has always been to reject any possibility of that happening.

Leave the ground war to the Jews. The are the experts!

Everything else can be levelled by Trumps coalition.

There won’t be any troops, American or otherwise, going to Iran. If the lack of public support were not enough (and it is) the logistical nightmare of getting them there and supporting them would be.

No, our interdiction will be through the air – missiles – not over the ground. What Trump is doing is setting the tone in his own inelegant way.

What to watch here are the protests taking place in Iran. The last time the people rose up, Obama turned his back on them (he’s deserving of everlasting scorn for this action alone) but I suspect that Trump and Netanyahu are in full support behind the scenes.

As bad as islam is in toto (and it really is that bad) nowhere on earth is it worse than with the mad mullahs of Tehran who are stuck in the 7th century.

Everyone keeps demanding Israel restrain itself….and Hamas plans on that happening every time; let Bibi finish this problem once and for all….I’m sure the Arab world will not be too upset with that happening if only to prevent Hamas from re-forming in some other country.

how much money goes from lefty wingy americans to support hamas?

while were on the somalian warlords finances that above question should be answered at the same time

I agree there will be no boots on the ground. In the air most likely.
.
The B-2 can fly wherever it wants to deliver “bunker buster” bombs or eighty 500 Lb JDAM’s. I have no problem retrofitting a C5 so it could carpet bomb using “bunker busters” and sending it over.

I wonder if there is a conventional warhead that can fit on our ICBMs. If so the next time a test is needed target one at Iran’s nuclear site.
