The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of 2025 — Legal Insurrection Podcast: Episode 33
2025 brought wins, failures, and a fractured movement. 2026 will test us all.
2025 pulled back the curtain on some wins, some warnings, and a clear view of what’s coming next. In this episode of The Legal Insurrection Podcast, we discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Trump remains the central force in American politics. Bureaucracies are finally being forced to reckon with DEI, and real immigration enforcement is happening. A massive welfare scam out of Minnesota exposed how much fraud has been quietly tolerated, and millions of your tax dollars were sent to ghost children.
The legal war on Trump is still well-funded and deeply institutionalized, with judges playing a more disturbing role than many realize. Charlie Kirk’s assassination exposed how much of the movement’s unity depended on him, until it didn’t. He built a platform that pushed marriage, family, and strong men. Now that voice is gone, what’s filling the void isn’t the same. And the worst: fringe ideology from the Neo-Nazi right is no longer fringe.
