Three Bodies Handed Over by Hamas Don’t Belong to Any Hostages, Israeli Forensic Tests Show

“Israeli officials believe Hamas is deliberately stalling, using the hostages’ remains as bargaining chips while attempting to reassert control in Gaza and delay any future demilitarization efforts.”

Nearly five days after President Donald Trump’s 48-hour deadline expired, Hamas continues to play the depraved game of deceit and deception with the bodies of Israeli hostages in its control.

On Saturday morning, Israeli authorities declared that the three bodies handed over by Hamas do not belong to any of the hostages. Reuters reported that “DNA testing by forensic authorities had determined they were not those of known hostages,” citing Israeli news outlets.

Under the U.S.-brokered 20-point Gaza peace plan, Hamas is obliged to return all living and murdered hostages within 72 hours of the ceasefire coming into effect. After a 22-day truce, the terrorist group is still holding on to 11 bodies, including those of U.S. hostages Itay Chen and Omer Neutra.

Hamas intends to drag out the delivery of the hostage bodies, buying time to rearm and rebuild its terrorist infrastructure destroyed in the two-year-long war. “Senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk has claimed that returning the bodies of the remaining 13 deceased hostages could take ‘months,'” Arutz Sheva/Israel National News reported on October 26.

The terrorist group is also hoping to extract more concessions, using the hostage bodies as leverage, Israel’s Ynetnews noted on Saturday:

The International Committee of the Red Cross said Friday it had “facilitated, at the request and with the agreement of the parties, the return of remains of three bodies to Israel.”

However, a forensic examination at Israel’s Abu Kabir Institute for Forensic Medicine determined the remains do not belong to any of the Israeli hostages still held in Gaza — or to any Israeli hostage at all.

“We’ve ruled out that the remains returned last night are linked to any Israeli hostage,” an Israeli official said Saturday morning. “This specific incident does not constitute a violation, as we initially assessed it was unlikely the remains were connected to the hostages. Still, we prefer Hamas send any findings for verification. Regardless, Hamas continues to violate its basic obligation by refusing to return the bodies.” (..)

Israeli officials believe Hamas is deliberately stalling, using the hostages’ remains as bargaining chips while attempting to reassert control in Gaza and delay any future demilitarization efforts. With international negotiations over a postwar stabilization force still ongoing, Hamas is expected to leverage the bodies in talks with both Israel and the United States to improve its position in future discussions over Gaza’s reconstruction and governance.

Since October 7, 2023, Hamas has used hostages, living and dead, as bargaining chips in its perverted bid to gain an upper hand on Israel, which it was unable to do in an open battlefield.

On Tuesday, Israeli military drone footage showed Hamas terrorists dumping the remains of a hostage in a dug-up grave. The terrorists later returned with an excavator and a Red Cross team, pretending to have found the body.

Adding insult to the injury, Israeli forensic investigation later revealed the body did not belong to any of the remaining hostages. It, however, constituted the body parts belonging to Ofir Tzarfati, a 27-year-old Israeli college student, who was abducted from the Nova festival during the October 7 massacre. The IDF special forces recovered Ofir’s remains in December 2023.

In February 2025, Hamas handed over the body of an unidentified Gaza woman, claiming it belonged to Shiri Bibas, mother of 10-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel. That was an apparent attempt to conceal the brutal murder of the 32-year-old mother, who was abducted and killed along with her two little kids.

Forget that the bodies are disgustingly being used this way. I guess it doesn’t even matter any more to anyone that they killed these people while in captivity.

Actually, it appears some of them were killed before they were dragged into Gaza. Which is just horribly macabre.

Unfortunately, Hamas has learned that a dead Israeli is worth a thousand live incarcerated terrorists in the trading world. Plus they don’t have to be fed or guarded.

Yet another Trump deadline has passed and ….. and…. and….

Just kill one or two senior Hamas officials each time a hoax like this occurs, Bomb them in Qatar if you have to. I don’t care what Trump got Bibi to promise. Quater is complicit and will always be complicit.

I think this is an example of the “evil of indifference.”

I don’t think Hamas cared enough about the people they killed to have documented where their remains were burried.

The only value their victims had for them were as bargaining chips they could enjoy tormenting, and if they were killed, so what?

Now, Hamas doesn’t care whose remains they release to the Israelis (“whatever . . . okay, we’ll go back and look again”). Just that they released some remains (“But we’re trying to comply.).

Like the Sopranos, Hamas always has miscellaneous dead bodies cluttering up the office space.

Time to unleash the dogs of war. Let BiBi take care of business and take the handcuffs off him. Enough is enough.

The live hostages are back and that is important. No question that Hamas cares nothing for Jews, the people it represses, or life itself. It’s never easy to deal with a belligerent. Know that Israel does not forget, even if the present requires forbearance in the chance of better things to come.

Muslims especially arabs care nothing for Jews,

Not all Arabs, such as Druze and Christians, but clearly the likes of Hamas, who go out of their way to show disdain for Jews and all others besides themselves and their benefactors.

        ALL MUSLIMS

There are no moderate, caring , sane Muslims

        Just stop the BS

Arab Christians are just as antisemitic as Arab Moslems. “The only thing worse than a Turk is a Jew”.

You are correct about the Druze as far as I know. They’ve been good citizens. Of course the Muslims hate them too.

In the early 20th Century, the conflict in Palestine was between Jews and Arab nationalists, the latter being composed of Muslims and Christians, with some of the Christians being as rabidly anti-Zionist as any Muslim alive today. Over the decades after Israel’s War of Independence, as more Arab countries made peace with Israel, radical Islam took the anti-Zionist mantle from the nationalists. (Also during the period, Christian Arabs were suffering under radical Islam, so Israel adopted them as “enemies of my enemies.”) Israel became an ally of the Christians, not the other way around. The Christians needed the help and Israel needed the thorn in the Muslim’s side.

Their forbearance is much too long.

They’ve had enough time. If they didn’t believe they could get control of the remains then they should have stated that instead of making a promise they couldn’t keep. Give Hamas till Friday noon to deliver or the ceasefire ends due to Hamas duplicity and bad faith. Then fire bomb Gaza, push the rubble into the Med to create a breakwater for the newly annexed Gaza Resort.

Ceasefire violated. Give them what they’re asking for.

NOTHING will change until Israel implements a policy of total destruction of Gaza. Destroy it all, kill anyone who resists, and deport to a deserted African island everyone else. You will never have any sort of peace until you do that.

And tell the world to go to hell if they disagree.

If Mel Brooks wrote black comedy, this would be a good time to re-release Young Frankenstein.

“This is the wrong DNA! It comes back to somebody named Abdul Normal!”

More taqiyya/fraud from primitives clinging to the ignorance and savagery of the 7th century.

At this point it’s clear to me that Hamas doesn’t have any idea where the rest of the hostages are having farmed them out to competing factions. Hamas made a deal it couldn’t follow through on to have time to rearm and murder it’s rivals.
